Its the same thingYes, by the means of his death.
No, the means is by what we are reconciled. Its the same thing
What is the promise to the reconciled in Rom 5:10No, the means is by what we are reconciled.
Rom 5:10 is answering by what we were reconciled, by a sacrifice. It is not saying how this sacrifice reconciles us
What is the promise to the reconciled in Rom 5:10
According to Rom 5:10 how were they Christ died for reconciled to God?
Thats not what it says. Read it Rom 5:10The promise is if we were saved while being enemies to God, how much more will we be eternally saved now as friends to God.
I know who Paul is addressing, according to Rom 5:10 how were the believers reconciled to God ?Not "they" but "we." Paul is addressing believers, not unbelievers.
Christ paid for the reconciliation by his shed blood on the cross for all people, and it is by faith, that *we* (Believers) received that reconciliation, being *justified by faith.*
Romans 5:1-2 (ENIV) 1 Therefore, since we have been {{{justified through faith}}} we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
Romans 4:16 (ENIV) 16 …the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring.
John 3:16 (WEB) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life
I have shown you the context. Paul is writing to the Believers in Rome about the gracious promises they now have in Christ Jesus when they believed. That is the "we," "us," and "our" that Paul is writing to.
If you are reconciled, you are made friends, you are justified, you are saved ... different words, but nuances of the same thing.Thats not what it says. Read it Rom 5:10
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Believers are reconciled to God because of Christ's sacrifice of himself for the sins of the world. Therefore, the "we" who believe are now reconciled to God by Christ, through faith in him.I know who Paul is addressing, according to Rom 5:10 how were the believers reconciled to God ?
Then Christ died only for them that will be saved by His life reconciled by His DeathIf you are reconciled, you are made friends, you are justified, you are saved ... different words, but nuances of the same thing.
Much more then, having now been justified, by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled (were saved, were justified, were made friends) to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled (been saved, been justifed, been made friends) we shall be saved (eternally) by His life.
— Romans 5:9-10
What condition were believers in when they were reconciled by His death according to Rom 5:10?Believers are reconciled to God because of Christ's sacrifice of himself for the sins of the world. Therefore, the "we" who believe are now reconciled to God by Christ, through faith in him.
John 3:16 (WEB) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life
I believe he died for everyone, yet his death only reconciles those of faith. Then Christ died only for them that will be saved by His life reconciled by His Death
Then you don't believe Rom 5 10I believe he died for everyone, yet his death only reconciles those of faith.
The condition of the "we," "us," and "our" in Romans 5 are the believers who were dead in sin, but after believing, have passed out of death onto life. What condition were believers in when they were reconciled by His death according to Rom 5:10?
Why would you say so?Then you don't believe Rom 5 10
What condition were believers in when they were reconciled to Gid by His death according to Rom 5:10?The condition of the "we," "us," and "our" in Romans 5 are the believers who were dead in sin, but after believing, have passed out of death onto life.
John 5:24 (WEB) Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. [Regeneration is by faith]
The sinner is given eternal life, reconciled by the blood of Christ, when they put their faith in Lord Jesus.
John 3:16 (WEB) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life
I already said, you cant see where you and i differ ?Why would you say so?
Of course I can. You think reconciliation happens without faith.I already said, you cant see where you and i differ ?
What condition were believers in when they were reconciled to Gid by His death according to Rom 5:10?
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
So why you ask duhOf course I can. You think reconciliation happens without faith.
If I told you I went to my job by car. Wouldn't you naturally understand I also had to go into my car before driving to work, even I never said so? It's the same with Rom 5:10. Paul assumes the readers already understand reconciliation is by faith, since he has already said we are justified by faith.
