  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Basically, i got this idea to start this thread because i've bought alot of cd's recently.

and i know that many of you have too. And because we all have the same addiction, we might as well have a thread where we keep eachother accountable with our cd-buying habit.

here's what i've recently (in the last month) bought, or recieved:

DMB- Remember two things
Beatles- White album
Led Zeppelin- Physical Graffiti
Phish- Rift
Dido- no angel
A Perfect Circle- Thirteenth Step
Pink Floyd- Echoes (best of)

I have recently found myself puting together the backlog of Oasis records I did not already have or only had from downloads. I find they have progressed from an iffy english bratpop band into one of the best pop groups available and it fun to hear the progression.

the other day i picked up another copy of Daniel Lanois's Acadie... at the thrift store... for $2 it can't hurt to have 2 copies.

oh and i also bought u2's live dvd... from the vertigo tour... candice, i'm now extremely jealous that you got to see them.

i'm really infatuated with u2 these days.
i bought copies of joshua tree and war on cassette at the thrift store, even though i have them on cd... now i can listen to u2 at work, in the warehouse, where we just have a tape player.
