Your words are youJoh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I sure won't hold my breath till you realize that's figurative. I wanna live.Yes Duck...but don't hold your breath until my words are made flesh to dwell among men....
yea by showing you what the bible really says and not what Trinitarians changed it to.There are many, many, many more such verses.
However, you will find a way to contradict each one.
I only wish you did.TheBarrd said:I do hope you don't mind if I take my information from the Holy Bible instead of from you?
And I don't care.TheBarrd said:I do not think you are qualified to teach, since you don't know Who Jesus is...
you are arguing here that Jesus is his Father. That's not trinity, that would be oneness.Joh_14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
When Philip asked Jesus to show them the Father, He presented Himself.
Nah, I have these experiences because I believe and do certain things in the bible that most all if not all other Christians do not do. the bible says bow down to God in the spirit, I do it, nobody else wants to do it. that's just one example. I'm just a forerunner of what is to come to all Christians one day. It's gotta start somewhere, why not with someone who believes God when he says bow down in the spirit to him? or someone who believes what God said in 1cor. 14.12 and doesn't change it like practically all Christians do? and I could go on from there. No it's really a matter of believeing god on these matters, which thing I do, and you don't.You, Duck, are self righteous and proud. You seem to think you have some special access to God that the rest of us mere mortals have been denied.
my observation is that what I say gets totally ignored with backhanded remarks from like you. So I sorta play that game with you a bit.TheBarrd said:When someone does present you with evidence that you might be mistaken, you simply ignore it with some backhanded remark that usually has very little to do with the subject under discussion.
Nah, it's that you refuse to believe the bible when it says that Jesus is a man.TheBarrd said:Your insistence on limiting God to your own poor abilities will continue to blind you to the reality of Who He is, and that is very sad.
Well, not bragging but I am kinda known for bein stubborn.TheBarrd said:It has been well said that pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit goes before a fall.
I pity you, my poor friend. I wish I could get through to you, but it seems pretty obvious that better minds than mine have tried and failed. You are too thick, evidently.
Thank you. but I don't need luck, I have God, Jesus and their angels.TheBarrd said:Therefore, it is my intention to leave you to your own shabby devices. Continue in your delusion, since there seems to be nothing I can do to help you.
And good luck with that angel thing....
I use them all because all of them are flawed. sometimes even a poor translation will be correct when a very good translation will be wrong on a particular verse. I don't trust any one translation. I examine the evidence and decide from that which is correct on any one particular verse. Even the one I trust the most, Rotherham, is dead wrong sometimes.I'm going to guess that you do not approve of the KJV?? It is the version I use.
What version are you using?
You are. Trinitarians ridicule oneness folks for saying Jesus is his own daddy. oneness folks ridicule Trinitarians for saying 3 is one.IMHO, there really isn't much difference between "trinity" and "oneness".
Each seems to be saying pretty much the same thing, in different words. Of course, I could be wrong.
that interpretation contradicts scripture that says God was in Chirst. you are interpreting it to mean God was Christ. A rock in a sack doesn't mean a rock is a sack.TheBarrd said:In any case, when Phillip asked Jesus to show them the Father, His answer was that the Father had been with them all along....in Himself. If that isn't saying that He and the Father are one and the same, I don't know what is.
That's because you two are not one. She has her own mind and hasn't bent her will to your will in everything as Jesus did to his Father.TheBarrd said:My daughter, if you ask her to show you her mother, will bring you to my house, and introduce me. She certainly won't say, "but don't you recognize me, Duck? I and my mother are one."
I am humble. You're just equating the fact that I'm better informed on this topic than you are as being arrogance. It isn't. I can't help it that you haven't studied the issue well enough to be able to respond to the things I bring up. that doesn't make me arrogant. It only means you haven't studied the issue as deeply as I have.Yes Duck...I am really really really really giving up.
Wiping the dust from my feet as it were. Your arrogance just makes you ridiculous.
One day you will humble yourself before the Lord...I pray that it will happen in this lifetime.
nah i'm no joke.TheBarrd said:Truly, although you make yourself a joke, I do pity you.
ok bye, thanks for your prayers.TheBarrd said:I will pray for you, but this is the last communication you will get from me.

Okay then , crapola , just when this scrap was becoming interesting . No MOD'S have descended YET , you can't see blood from my swivel chair , YET !
I'm ecstatic The Wisdom that inspired this ; And יהושע answering, said to them, Is this not why you go astray, because you do not know the 'Scriptures nor the power of Elohim?'
25For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage,' but are as messengers in the heavens.'
26And concerning the dead, that they rise have you not read in the book of Mosheh, at the bush, how Elohim spoke to him, saying, I am the Elohim of Aḇraham, and the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ?
27He is not the Elohim of the dead, but Elohim of the living. 'You, then, go greatly astray.
28And one of the scribes coming near, hearing them reasoning together, knowing that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first command of all?
29And יהושע answered him, The first of all the commands is, Hear, O Yisraĕl, 'יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one.'
30And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first command.
31And the second, like it, is this, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.
Would this [ but are as messengers in the heavens. ] using ' human liturgical reasoning ' cancel any reasonable notion there's a person or persons of any description sitting on any
Throne as יהוה our Elohim , anywhere ?
Allowed me to savvy this bit of mandatory Writ . ;
26Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for thus their fathers did to the false prophets. [ don't follow the status quo , read it for yourself . ]
27But I say to you who are hearing: Love your enemies, do good to those hating you.
28Bless those cursing you, and pray for those insulting you.
29And to him who hits you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your outer garment, do not withhold the inner garment either.
30And give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away what is yours do not ask it back.
31And as you wish men should do to you, you also do to them in the same way.
32And if you love those loving you, what favour have you? For sinners, too, love those loving them.
33And if you do good to those doing good to you, what favour have you? For even sinners do the same.
34And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive back, what favour have you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
35Rather, love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting none in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be sons of the Most High. Because He is kind to the thankless and wicked ones.
36Therefore be compassionate, as your Father also is compassionate.
37And do not judge, and you shall not be judged at all. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned at all. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
38Give, and it shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over shall be put into your lap. For with the same measure with which you measure, it shall be measured back to you. (ISR)
Could this be the main punch line in this second Scripture ? ; And do not judge, and you shall not be judged at all. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned at all. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
22And he said to him, Out of your own mouth I shall judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was a hard man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow.
, Hear and understand:
11Not that which goes into the mouth defiles the man, but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles the man.
