Revelation says nothing about breaking the skin, Revelation says nothing about blood covenant with the beast and its not required for a RFID chip to denounce Christ any more than for a bank account.

Any other ideas why the RFID chip could be the mark of the beast, when all these were dismissed?

I'm pretty sure that when someone takes the mark... more than that takes place. It is believed, and I tend to believe, that something in the DNA of the person is changed and gives a pseudo immortality.. and.. possibly changes their DNA enough that they are not fully human.. thus.. cannot be saved by Christ's blood that was shed for humans.. no other..

A Doctor, in an interview, that studies the ability to change DNA in animals and plants.. stated that if you change the DNA of a human.. like in super soldiers and such... by anymore than 1%, they are no longer fully human.

What does it mean that we have been redeemed? We were sold in sin, Jesus paid the price. If we were sold in sin who did we belong to? It was murky until we received Jesus and crossed the Red sea. The entire exodus was about slaves, that Pharaoh owned, being released from that bondage by God. This is the issue that runs through the entire Bible and ultimately gets resolved at the end of this age.

So when I brand a cow it identifies who the cow belongs to. Right now you pay taxes to the government, they can value that and calculate how much each taxpayer is worth to them. This type of cost benefit analysis has been done to prove that public HS has paid back the government in spades, or that going to college is a financially smart move that pays for itself. This type of analysis is at the heart of any decent attempt to change the health care system or to have free college like we have free HS. One advantage of this to the government is that every single transaction you do now will be tracked by the government, no more bartering, no more transactions off the books, no more saving the tax the by paying in cash. As a result the government will make more for you. If I have a cow I am willing to feed it, pay for the vet, etc. until it is time to slaughter it and sell it.

So in the same way a farmer values a cow, the government is valuing you. The worship of Baal is the worship of money, job and career. Getting this mark is a sign of that worship.

If you love the Lord you would keep His commandments. If He says not to get the mark of the beast you don't. There is no conflict. However, if you love money, your job, your career now you have a conflict. Who do you love? Who do you worship? Who do you belong to?

You got it reversed. Its not those who rejected the mark who were killed, its those who rejected to worship the beast, those were killed.

Those, who worshipped the beast, those also received its mark.

I agree. It can't just be because some believers think God is against technology . If the MARK is even about a micro chip and I'm not totally convinced it is the point is the condemnation of receiving the mark is that one would actually have to deny Christ's lordship over their lives. Some almost think the evil is having a cashless society but we've really basically had that for years. The issue is are we worshipping someone else as God which would mean that we've rejected Christ's claims of who and what he is in our lives.

Yes and another indicator is the number of Americans who are paid directly by city state and local. About 40 years ago, there were 3 out 5 who fit the description. Today I assume that the number of such employees paid by government is higher. Socialism seems close at hand.

You have that "it already happened" view. I believe the book of Revelations is a dual-meaning type book. Events similar to what is described in the book happened in the first century, but the ultimate end days are definitely what is also written in the book. Here are some reasons why I believe this:
1. We have not had 1000 years of peace on a new earth.
2. Satan is not locked up somewhere. He is here, running rampant.
3. Christians always face persecution, and it will be worse the closer we get to the end days.
4. People of the end times (now) will be as in the days of Noah. You can pretty much see us going in that direction when you look at what society says is now acceptable (that 20 years ago would not have been accepted) and also the way people are behaving.
5. The book says in the beginning (paraphrased) "This is what has happened, is happening, and will happen in the future." The events you think John wrote about happened before he was stranded on the island. How could it be a revelation about something that already happened, and how can he be envisioning things that already happened?
6. The books are clearly talking about the end times. Jesus says to his disciples what to look for when he is about to come back. John lived a few decades or so after them.
7. There are supposed to be birth pangs and then Jesus comes back. Do you think one day he's just going to pop up out of nowhere? No. We don't know the time He is coming back. However, events must take place before he comes back. The temple has to be rebuilt. It was already destroyed when John was writing the book.

As you wish. You can see how looking at a book that was not written to modern man and using it as if it was has scared you, which literally goes against the very Bible that Revelation is in. You say "How in the blazes does it go against the Bible?" it goes against the Bible because we are old explicitly to fear not now you have to ask yourself this either the Bible and Christ is right to fear not or your are right taking Revelation and acting as if it is for now and living in fear.

As far as Christ coming back look at Acts 1 and you will find out how He will come back. I believed those lies to about that stuff was all to happen now yet growing up and it never did, I got tried of living in fear about the mark and all that stuff so I ask God to show the real truth away from the modern ideas and God did and I no longer live in fear of that stuff because it was not to use it was to first century Christians and they knew what it meant, we do not know.

Yes. It seems someone has fed you a regimen of false doctrine. Turning the spiritual Mark of the Beast into a physical mark. They've been doing this since the 1800s when Dispensationalism came into existence.

The Mark is a form of allegiance to any totalitarian regime that enforces man's laws that disobey God under penalty of loss or even death. The Mark of God in believers' foreheads is next mentioned in chapter 17. And that is obviously the worship of God.

Lybrah, please realize you are worrying about something that does not exist. There is no vaccine. And there may not be for quite a while. Why don't you wait until the vaccine is created and then evaluate it and decide? Until then, it is a waste of your emotional energy and time to be worried about a hypothetical. What else could you be doing with your time and energy if you were not expending it on worrying about this?

I won't even get into the conspiracy theory of a Bill Gates microchip as the mark of the Beast except to say I think folks supporting you in your fears are not serving you or your anxiety well. I think it's better that you pay attention to real "here and now" issues rather than obsessing over something in the future that may not come to fruition as you fear.
