I grew up in a strict roman catholic family but my parents were all fake the went to church and prayed be they were so childish. I had see inappropriate things when I was younger. My childhood was disturbing. I having anger problems. Whenever I prayed My prayers where NEVER answered. I don`t know why. I kind of believe in god. But I have turned to prayer for one last chance. I like a girl but get really nervous and I can`t talk around her I asked for the strength and courage but got nothing. I am mad at god. You can go ahead and tell me god loves me or whatever but let me tell you this I blame god for my problems I have very bad anxiety I have ADHD and a number of other things wrong with me. I am a complete loser I have no friends no job. When I asked god to help me get my life back on track help me to gain trust in people you think he helped me absolutely not. I have attempted suicide a couple of times but never succeeded If I do die and have to be judged by god I will point the finger right back at him. If god knows whats going to happen before it does then it`s his fault. I don`t worship satan either. Satan gets the blame for everything I am on my own here. I nothing to fear around god. I can tell god I will never forgive him for his betrayal I can say he aint no better than me. I will compare myself to god. What maked him better than me. They say god is loving and caring so if I hit god in the face whats he going to do. If I say I will be the next god whats he going to do send me to hell. I would like to see god judge me. I am not affriad of god.

Why do you expect God to answer the prayers of someone who only "kind of believes" in Him? For that matter, why are you so angry at God when you only "kind of believe" He exists? You know, there are very few prayers God will answer from a person who only kind of believes in Him, and they all have to do with finding Him and entering into a personal relationship with Him. Really, until you are born again, until you become a child of God, your prayers will continue to go, for the most part, unanswered.

The problem is you're asking for the wrong things. The Bible says,

James 4:3 (NKJV)
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

God wants first and foremost to sort you out spiritually. This is how God will get your life "back on track." As far as God is concerned, until things are straightened out between you and Him, nothing else is important.

Matthew 6:32-33 (NKJV)
32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Did you get that part about "seeking first"? Seek God first and then all the other things will be added to you. God doesn't do things any other way.

I have attempted suicide a couple of times but never succeeded If I do die and have to be judged by god I will point the finger right back at him. If god knows whats going to happen before it does then it`s his fault.
Hey, man, I get that you're really angry at God, but I gotta' say that when you actually see God face to face the last thing you'll be thinking to do is point an accusing finger at Him. You only talk the way you do about God because He is very small in your mind. You have shrunk Him down to the sort of person you can shake your finger at. What kind of God is that? The real God, not the weak one you've got in your imagination, will blow your doors off! If He's your Heavenly Father, when you see Him you'll fall on your face in awestruck, trembling, worshipful silence; if He's your Judge, you'll be terrified beyond anything you can imagine. Either way, you won't be pointing any fingers.

Why is something God's fault simply because He knows in advance that it will happen? I know if a cat licks itself a lot it will develop a hair ball and then have to cough it up. Does this knowledge mean I caused the cat's hairball? No. Its the same with God. Just because He knows you're going to do something doesn't mean He made you do it.

I don`t worship satan either. Satan gets the blame for everything I am on my own here. I nothing to fear around god. I can tell god I will never forgive him for his betrayal I can say he aint no better than me. I will compare myself to god. What maked him better than me.
Whoa. You really do have a very small view of God! If he's the same as you He's no God at all! And how can you be betrayed by someone you only "kind of" believe exists? The Bible paints a very different picture of God than you possess:

Hebrews 10:31 (NKJV)
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

1 Timothy 6:15-16 (NKJV)
15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Psalm 147:5 (NKJV)
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

Isaiah 40:12-15 (NKJV)
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance?
13 Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, Or as His counselor has taught Him?
14 With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of understanding?
15 Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, And are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing.

They say god is loving and caring so if I hit god in the face whats he going to do. If I say I will be the next god whats he going to do send me to hell. I would like to see god judge me. I am not affriad of god.
Are you trying to get a rise out of God? Are you trying to bait Him into doing something, even something hard and terrible, with your angry declarations?

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

1 Peter 5:5-7 (NKJV)
5..."God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Peace to you.

Its a fallen world its not God. God doesn't force men to follow Him. It seems like I always have trials of some kind- a job layoff, medical problems, etc. God has used them to help me grow - its like putting gold to fire - it purifys you. He used what is bad and turns it into something good. In fact, what God does is that He gives his Holy Spirit- which give us strength to overcome the troubles of our life - by knocking them down one problem at a time. 90% of it is how one reacts to their problems and the 10% is the problem.

If you want to get serious about God, I would first ask him to forgive you of your sins and then ask for the Holy Spirit. It will give you the strength to live a christian life. Then pray daily, read Bible and go to a serious church (who practice what they preach) - not phoneys. You will obtain inspirational friends here. Why do we need a Lord and Savior? www.livingwaters.com/good/ Are you a good person?

So to you, if God doesn't answer your prayers directed towards Your want and will for your life then He is unloving to you, and does not deserve your love and affection? Not only that, it is his fault that your life is falling apart, and you can't wait to tell him...

It seems as if you have your role in life and the Role of God confused. He is not here to serve us we are here to serve him, and if we can not or will not do our jobs it isn't our prerogative to condemn him. You enjoy a freedom here in this life that may not be available to you in the next one. I believe in large part because all of the mystery and the unknown about God will be known to us. (Taking away the innocent foolishness that allows us to speak from a proud heart.) That is why we are told that Every Knee Will Bow, And Every Tongue Will Confess That Jesus Is Lord.

Until that day, we have an opportunity to seek out God, and try to get to know him as best as we can. If we truly seek him then we will find what our heart wants.. But, if all God is to you, is a magic genie here to grant you wishes then, you maybe better off trying to enjoy this life to it's fullest, (Rather than trying to cut it short) because this life will be all that you have.

You prayed for strength and courage to talk to her. That's a prayer worth trying, and not demanding that God make her fall for you. But answers like that are not always immediate, drop-in-your-lap solutions.

What if God granted you courage the first time, and then you were too afraid to return the second time? That wouldn't be fair for her, wondering why you avoided her.

Maybe God is showing you how to pray, how to relate to Him. There are things He may hope for your life that you haven't even thought of. Consider that He is more like a father, a person than a genie that grants requests.

Ecc 4:7 Again I saw something meaningless under the sun:
Ecc 4:8 There was a man all alone; he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. "For whom am I toiling," he asked, "and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?" This too is meaningless— a miserable business!
Ecc 4:9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
Ecc 4:10 If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Ecc 4:11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Ecc 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

The verse above state the way that people think about relationships. To toil alone is a hard thing to have happen, many people have this feeling, many times I have toiled alone, worked hard, and done the right things, even had lacking courage. I think we would all like to be like the ones mentioned below the top verse, those who have some one to help them get through hard times. The best thing we can do is work hard at our current relationships, e.g. parents, friends, so we are not totally isolated. Try trusting God for something better for your future.

Nah 1:15 Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace!

I believe God is proclaiming peace over you, he wants you to have hope for the future. Your heart needs mending, and may it heal quickly.

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, so bear with me. It seriously sounds like you might benefit from some counselling right now. You're going through what seems like an incredibly difficult time, and it also sounds like you had a difficult childhood. Maybe when you've talked through some of this, you'll be in a better place to think about religion.

Being a Christian isn't going to have some magical sparkly resolution to your problems...in fact it will probably make it worse. That said, we are tested because others are tested (see my sig) to strengthen our faith. We are tempted by ourselves and our sinful nature working against us.

I have health problems, I certainly don't blame God for it. You are asking for answers to prayer but not with a contrite heart. You are asking in anger and hostility. I would never ask to gain trust in people for the fact that people are sinners, most of them lie. They make mistakes. I would ask for them to gain trust in me.

From the book of James (James 1:2-15):

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. 9The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. 10But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.
12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
