Dreaming up ad hoc hypotheses, to explain away inconvenient facts,
Never saw one inconvenient fact yet. Ever. What we see is your belief system that is science today, with all it's contradictions, circular reasoning, godlessness, and limitations being touted as something more.

Do we have to assume the suspect committed the crime in order to get a DNA match? Yes or no?
That depends on whether we are talking modern times, or far past times when you have no clue whatsoever what DNA was like. You have none. Fancy that. All talk no action.

Looking at the future in the bible I doubt one could think DNA was the same as now. Lions will change in a short time to where they eat grass. Man will live a thousand years. How about Jesus? He had bone and flesh in His risen body, not sure if there was even blood in our Resurrection bodies?! You think His body has the same DNA as post flood man now?

Answer the question.

Let's use Noah as the suspect in the crime here. No. We would not need his DNA to know he was involved!

Science today is a form of witchcraft.

In fact, they played loose with the term "Homo," which really means "male human," and plutoed it to just "human" so as to include females also.

Then they linked it to a late 15th century term ("sapient") by playing loose with it and got "taste" changed to "wise," else they would have had to have used the proper term: "wizard."

The result is "Homo sapiens" -- "wise one."

But in so doing, the Bible exposes their error and explains how some "lose their faith" to become atheists ...

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Science today is a form of witchcraft, and those professing themselves to be Homo sapiens are running the risk of becoming atheists.

Isn't it ironic that Darwin, who fathered evolution, died believing in God; but others, believing in God while embracing evolution, died not believing in God?

The "sapien" in homo sapien comes from the Latin sapientes.

You had better switch off that computer, unless you want to be implicated in witchcraft.

The "sapien" in homo sapien comes from the Latin sapientes.
From the online etymology dictionary:

Homo sapiens
the genus of human beings, 1802, in William Turton's translation of Linnæus, coined in Modern Latin from Latin homo "man" (technically "male human," but in logical and scholastic writing "human being;" see homunculus) + sapiens, present participle of sapere "be wise" (see sapient).

Notice where it says, "see sapient"?

sapient
"wise," late 15c. (early 15c. as a surname), from Old French sapient, from Latin sapientem (nominative sapiens), present participle of sapere "to taste, have taste, be wise," from PIE root *sep- (1) "to taste, perceive" (cognates: Old Saxon an-sebban "to perceive, remark," Old High German antseffen, Old English sefa "mind, understanding, insight").

You'd better switch off that air you breathe then, unless you want to be implicated in creationism.

How does that alter the fact that homo sapientes means wise man? Why do you want to insist that the name derives from a Latin word with similar spelling, but completely different meaning - or is that a silly question?

I am only implicated in the production of oxygen through the alpha process in the centre of stars...... and ultimately the Big Bang, of course.

A bit like the Illiad I think it was where the guy had to be strapped to the mast when passing a certain island, because the music was irresistible but deadly.
