Shannonkish said:Depends on the class and the assignment. I am in grad school and therefore there is a LOT more reading involved. I can usually judge by the assignment whether or not reading all of the material will be necessary.

Like the rest of the educational system, get good grades, get your diploma, and then you're going to have to get re-educated anyways. With that in mind, go to as little class as possible, have as much fun as you can and don't do anything stupid.

sweetmercy said:Up until midterms, I do all (or most, anyway) of my class readings. But then everything seems to come at you so fast...exams, then papers, then exams again...that I don't have time to read anymore. But, I learn a lot because I go to all the lectures. And, even though I don't read the chapters week by week, I don't cram for exams. I study for every exam for at least 5 days, usually two chapters a day, and I take notes while I read. Then for a few hours before the exam, I review all the notes. Seems to work for me, cuz I get good grades!
