I loved that article and its so true. Should anyone read it, it's about the decline in the sales of Hip Hop and the steadily growing criticism of certain notions in the Hip Hop game.
I believe that Hip Hop sales are declining because people are beginning to realise that some artists are just talking about garbage. If it's not about how many women you can get a hold of, it's about how many drugs you can smuggle or how many other people you can gun down.
I used to love hip hop like that, and so does alot of the rest of the world! Everyone seems to think that's its America to blame. America this america that. Akon's at the forefront of hip hop and he's from Africa! I loved what he used to rap/sing about - his first album Trouble was magical. Now it's just stuff I've heard all before; 'I wanna **** you, Smack that...' and so on.
Hip hop needs a rejuvenation and people like Kanye,Lupe,Common are doing just that. Even probably Hip Hop's greatest Lyricist, Nas has released an album, "Hip Hop is dead."
It's by no means dead, but the movement is dying.

Well, at least you didn't mention anyone from Anticon.
