In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Wheeler you spake on "due season", in season and out of season. I was looking at the due season, it also appears to confirm "meat" given in the same accord (which has to do with understanding spiritually) ever notice that?

For instance, the Holy Ghost makes overseers, and God gives them (the gift bestowed of God upon them for "others"

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

God said He would give those who are Shepherds after His own heart to feed the flock with understanding and speaks to them of being diligent to know "the state of the flock"

Prov 27:23 Be thou diligent to know ~the state~ of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.

Whereas Paul speaks in the same accord (in regards to "them")

Phil 2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know ~your state~.

Jesus asks in accord with this patern asks...

John 21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, **Children**, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

Their state "as Children" = no meat (yet)

To whom does meat belong?

Heb 5:14 But **strong meat** belongeth to them that are of **full age**, even those who by ~reason of use~ have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Meat also is in "due season"...

Mat 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them ~meat~ in ~due season~?

Paul as a faithful servant of Christ knows "their state" (and what they are capable of recieving)

1Cr 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Able to discern their ability

Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word ~of righteousness~: for he is ~a babe~.

So he couldnt speak to them (yet carnal) the same as he could to others (who were spiritual)

1Cr 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

I love this too...

Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are **weaned** from the milk, and ~drawn from~ the breasts.

Wow! ^_^

1Peter 2:2 As **newborn babes**, **desire** the sincere milk** of the word, **that** ye **may grow** thereby

Again...

John 21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

Psalm 145:15 **The eyes** of all wait upon thee; and thou **givest** them their meat **in due season**.

Luke 24:30 And **it came to pass***, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and **gave** to them.

Luke 24:31 And **their eyes **were opened**, and they **knew him**; and ***he vanished out** of their sight.

Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he **opened to us** the scriptures?

Ephes 1:18 **The eyes of** your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints

Luke 24:45 Then opened he **their understanding**, that they might understand the scriptures,

Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and ***spiritual understanding***;

1Cr 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

1Cr 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto **spiritual**, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

Just as here...

Luke 24:16 But their eyes **were holden** that they should not **know him**.

When they receive the meat

Luke 24:31 And their eyes **were opened**, and they **knew him**; and ***he vanished out** of **their sight**.

The eyes of their heart were opened (spiritual eyes were holden) they only knew him after the flesh (fleshly wisdom) yet

2Cr 5:16 Wherefore ***henceforth** know we no man after the flesh: yea, though WE HAVE known Christ after the flesh, **YET NOW** henceforth know we him no more.

Henceforth is also used as it pertains to children as well, that henceforth we be no more children... Children, have ye any meat= No (unable to reccognize Him by the Spirit yet)... Milk, not meat, not able, meat in due season, thus it "comes to pass" and their eyes (which are shown "holden" (the eyes of the heart) that they should not "know Him", and he opens their understanding and gives them meat= spiritual understanding (meat belonging to them who are full age) Henceforth no more children (which understand as a child) with fleshly wisdom, what they are able to know naturally it appears.

Seems the same reason the world receiveth him not is because it seeth him not, whereas we (by this faith) are to look upon that which is unseen (seeing Him who is invisible) looking not at that which is seen...

Thus He sat at meat with them and He vanished from "their sight" (speaking in accord with walking by faith opposed to sight) and to the ability to perceive Him after the Spirit as we are to of others by the same (not after the flesh) with our carnal eyes.

His words are so amazing even as He is amazing:thumbsup:

Fireinfolding,

I say “Amen Sister” to all you have posted!

I feel that we are arriving to that “due season” in which those God has put in charge to feed His flock are to feed them with the “meat” of the Word.

(Mat 24:45 KJV) Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Notice the servant (who has been put in charge of the flock) who “eats and drinks with the drunken.” He STRIKES those who he is in charge of. He is like the “sun” that strikes those underneath them. A “drunken” servant is a church leader that is given to covetousness….he is drunk with the “wine” of Babylon. He rules over those who are in his care unmercifully…..and with his own gain in mind.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The “sun” strikes those who are parched underneath their care. Those underneath their care labor in the HEAT of the day. A leader must not be given to “wine”…..not speaking LITERALLY but SPIRITUALLY. Being given to “wine” is being given to covetousness…..it is the wine of Babylon that leaders are not to be given to. It is not for kings to drink “wine.”

(Prov 31:4 KJV) It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

He must not be STRIKER…..a “sun” that beats on his fellow servants with his covetous, unmerciful teachings. Given to wine = given to covetousness.

(1 Tim 3:3 KJV) Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

(Titus 1:7 KJV) For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

A church leader must feed the flock of God….with a ready mind. He must be an example to the flock….he must not be given over to covetousness. He must not be preaching for gain…for bigger church buildings…..for bigger ministries….for bigger bank accounts….for power…..and recognition among his peers. Many church leaders exist nowadays for their own vain glory.

(1 Pet 5:2 KJV) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

He must not be a “lord” over God’s heritage. Many rule as “kings” today….they are drunk with the wine of Babylon…..and they strike those underneath them like the “sun.”

3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

This is why Solomon kept referring to those who work “under the SUN”…..under those who are unmerciful in their demands and teachings on the flock that is in their care. The “sun” STRIKES those underneath them. A drunken servant (drunk with covetousness) who has been put in charge of the flock STRIKES them like the sun. He “beats” the menservants and maidens with his covetous ways and thoughts. He leaves them spiritually thirsty….in hunger and poor in spirit.

(Luke 12:45 KJV) But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

The first thing that Solomon did before he started his “great works” was he gave himself to WINE. When a king drinks “wine,” he lays hold on folly.

(Eccl 2:3 KJV) I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

When a church leader is given to “wine,” he starts building things for his own vain glory. He covets bigger church buildings, he covets bigger numbers….he covets all kinds of increase. He writes books….he sells religious merchandise. He continues to build and plant even at the time of the revelation of the Truth. He supposes gain is godliness. He is “drunk” with the “drunken”…..with the covetousness that is so prevalent within our churches today.

4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:
6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:
7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:
8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

Whoever is deceived by his own covetousness is not wise. Wine is a mocker and strong drink raging.

(Prov 20:1 KJV) Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

But our Lord comes to release the drunken servants’ prisoners from underneath their care….He comes with the Scripture of Truth.

(Isa 49:9 KJV) That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

They shall not hunger nor thirst, neither shall the “HEAT NOR SUN SMITE THEM.” The Lord shall have mercy on those who have been smitten by the “sun”….who have labored wearily “under the sun”….working for things that profit not.

10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

The “sun” shall not light on them….nor any heat. The servant who is drunk on his own covetousness (the wine of Babylon) shall no longer be in charge of His flock. The Lord is coming to lead them to the living fountains of waters….He shall feed them His Truth.

(Rev 7:16 KJV) They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The unwise shall continue to eat and “drink”….marrying their doctrines. They shall continue to buy and sell and plant and build.....all things that Solomon already did. Only those who do these things do them without God’s wisdom. Their riches “blind” their eyes to the revealing of the Son of man….the revelation of the Scripture of Truth.

(Luke 17:27 KJV) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

(Eccl 2:22 KJV) For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun?

Those that labor underneath covetous church leaders (under the sun) have days of sorrow and travail in grief.

23 For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.

Covetous church leaders are the “sun” that “strikes” those underneath them. There are “oppressions” under the sun…..there are tears of the oppressed…… “under the sun.”

(Eccl 4:1 KJV) So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

But our Lord comes to wipe away all tears. He is our comforter. The “sun of righteousness” comes with healing in His wings. There shall no longer be any more oppression of the poor in spirit “under the sun”….under covetous, unmerciful false teachers….for God shall teach them Himself.

Never noticed the sun in that respect Wheeler, thank you so much for sharing that, I definately need to look at that one:thumbsup:

Yes I did notice the drunken, in fact it speaks of the "drunkards of Emphraim" who wear "the crown of pride", I sorta regard that as not being "soberminded", or perhaps not thinking of oneself soberly (highminded, rather) which appears to speak to "the crown of pride" inclusive of the drunkeness.

Whereas our Lord is lowly and meek and it speaks of the meekness of wisdom and elsewhere it appears to speak of "thy wisdom being corrupted" (even of the corruptible crown).

Everytime you post you give me much which confirms what I see, or show me otherthings to consider, praise the Lord for you Wheeler

I'm drawn to those who use only scripture to show things, its as the Lord speaks volumes to me in the same way, it is very rare but I have much respect unto the way you try showing things and honour Him in using His own words to do that.

Never stop doing that brother its a blessing

Fireinfolding....thank you for your kindness and patience. Thank you, thank you.

Just to add a little more to "under the sun"......

There are two “seasons.” Out of season and in season……there are two “days” mentioned in Ecclesiastes….a “day of adversity”….in which covetous church leaders rule over the poor in spirit ("under the sun” of the day of adversity)….and a “day of prosperity” …in which the Lord comes to open up the Scriptures and lets His prisoners out of their “care.” In the “day of prosperity”….Truth rules and there are church leaders who are after the Lord’s own heart.

(Eccl 7:14 KJV) In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

In the “day of adversity”….which has been a long time now for the church, one man rules over another for evil. Covetous church leaders do not feed the “poor”….they take advantage of the poor in spirit…..they make them “labor” for things that profit not. They collect their money…have them build their grand church buildings….they have their members as “servants”….in other words, they rule as “lords” over them. Solomon defines what “under the sun” means in Ecclesiastes 8:9…….a “time when one man rules over another for evil.” The words “there is” does not show up in Hebrew. “Under the sun” = a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.

(Eccl 8:9 KJV) All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.

This “day of adversity” continues because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily. Our Lord covers our sins that are done in ignorance of the Truth. His patience is our salvation….especially for those rulers of the church who follow after their own lusts for worldly things.

(Eccl 8:11 KJV) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

“Under the sun” = a time when error comes from our church leaders….a time when folly is set in great dignity and the truly rich are in a low place. We have been living in this time…in the “day of adversity.”

(Eccl 10:5 KJV) There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.

“Under the sun” means servants….hirelings…are in positions of power over the church. Many of the church have been living “under the sun” of the day of adversity.

7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

But the “sun” shall set upon the “day of adversity” and the dawn of the “day of prosperity” breaks. The “sun” shall set upon the prophets that make His people to err. The “sun” of the “day of adversity” is about to set upon them. Their glory days will be behind them. What they have rejoiced in will come to a halt.

(Micah 3:5 KJV) Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

The sun shall go down over the false prophets…..and the “day of prosperity”….the day of true wealth…..will be a day of darkness for them. Their good times will come to an end…..the day that they had ruled as kings over the church ends.

6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

In the coming “day of prosperity,” the “sun of righteousness” shall arise for those who FEAR the Lord.

(Mal 4:2 KJV) But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

But the false teachers can repent of their ways…and remember the Creator…..before the “day of prosperity” arrives. For us who fear the Lord, this will be a day of rejoicing, For those who do not repent, it will be the “evil days”….days which they will have no pleasure in them.

(Eccl 12:1 KJV) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

For them, the “sun” will be darkened….they are to repent before it happens.

2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

The “keepers of the house” shall tremble…..they have been the keepers of the flock...in their errors. They shall fear what comes upon them if they do not repent. They are the “strong men” who shall bow themselves. But it is not too late to repent and turn from their evil ways.

3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

In the “day of adversity,” the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily:

(Eccl 8:11 KJV) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

But in the “day of prosperity,” the Lord will be a swift witness against those that continue to oppress and fear not the Lord.

(Mal 3:5 KJV) And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

The “sun” of the “day of adversity” shall go down….and people will be released from their grievous work that they were made to do “under the sun” of false, covetous teachers.

Thank you so much Wheeler, you spake of two days, can that at all relate to the bread of two days? Because I had been looking at "the bread of adversity" and you yourself mention two days (one of which is adversity). Its the first thing I asked myself, do they relate? Your post appears to indicate they just might.

Heres one of the verses (though I sorta see them speaking forward) and can sorta be seen in the NT somewhat...

Isaiah 30:20 And though the Lord give you ***the bread of adversity***, and the water ***of affliction**, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

1Thes 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word **in much affliction**, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

Though, "teachers and the affliction" appear to match up there but was wondering on the bread of adversity

This is not related but going somewhat off of a verse you posted, you can see the same thing in this example...

Acts 13:8-10 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, **seeking to turn away** the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Which appears to mirror the below (as it pertains to sorcerers) the verse you posted

Mal 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that **turn aside the stranger from** his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Though I noticed in that verse when a mist of darkness fell upon him that it mentions "a season" there as well. I know you posted Mal 3:5 but if its mirrored (somewhat) in Acts 13:8-10 theres the word season (you also are pointing out) sitting right there.

Nothing to add, just alot to chew on ^_^

Blessings to you Wheeler

Wow , great stuff ! I was looking and found you still in His Word , awesome !
I love in ''due season '' as well and speaking of the Sun as the heat of the day

this verse came to mind

Gen 1:14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

children of the Day are in the Light / knowledge given by Him in His mercy on us the ''heat '' , to me are when they repent of their doings and wicked ways
found in Isaiah
copyChkboxOff.gif
Isa 49:10They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
We know God is love and is also a consuming fire ...
this is a favorite chaper Is 33 Isa 33:14The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be] sure.

the Bread of heaven !!! Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Jhn 6:33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Jhn 6:51I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

taking a break from the garden this evening and soooooooooooooo glad I did , Blessings on my brothers and sistas in this place !!!!

love you all in Christ C .... :)

Cross-posting info from another thread, but it's related:

Fireinfolding may now be ready to see why Ephraim is excluded in Rev., And Joseph takes his place. It all ties in, but it takes the Lord to show us what He's up to ...

Hi razonontherock ,

I know that the Lord gathers them as one stick in His Hand

all three Epharim/Judah and Joseph

Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph,

the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:

copyChkboxOff.gif
Eze 37:17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

copyChkboxOff.gif
Eze 37:19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows,

and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

this ''stick ''
means Strong's H6086 - `ets
1) tree, wood, timber, stock, plank, stalk, stick, gallows
a) tree, trees
b) wood, pieces of wood, gallows, firewood, cedar-wood, woody flax

for me the fuel for the Fire
the world/ heavens as we know it to be , this way of thinking is being disolved in elements the word elements her is amazing !!

look at the way it speaks to us :)Strong's G4747 - stoicheion
1) any first thing, from which the others belonging to some series or composite whole take their rise, an element, first principal
a) the letters of the alphabet as the elements of speech, not however the written characters, but the spoken sounds
b) the elements from which all things have come, the material causes of the universe
c) the heavenly bodies, either as parts of the heavens or (as others think) because in them the elements of man, life and destiny were supposed to reside
d) the elements, rudiments, primary and fundamental principles of any art, science, or discipline
1) i.e. of mathematics, Euclid's geometry

its out with the old man in with the New man
Christ is Lord !!2Cr 5:17Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
here in Peter we can see more clear what he is saying now .....

2Pe 3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.[Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

the new heavens and earth are the Lord Jesus being the HEAD as we are guilded by His Holy Spirit
and His mind
this is the becoming the Body of Christ and a new and living way
the Lord LIVES! we are living in and though Him ..as One

love these verses here 1Cr 8:6But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Eph 4:6One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.

awesome is Our God , the Lord and Saviour !

Cross-posting info from another thread, but it's related:

Fireinfolding may now be ready to see why Ephraim is excluded in Rev., And Joseph takes his place. It all ties in, but it takes the Lord to show us what He's up to ...

Depends from the angle someones presenting something I guess Raze, I rarely catch things "straight on" (for some reason) sorta like studying jewels as we were, cant really explain it but everytime I sit down to study "a thing" it never seems to clarify itself as it does when I do something other than that, but I dont know what to call "that" which makes it clearer.

I do suppose I study better solo, I dont know... Thats why I am always telling Wheeler I'll be quiet (but never am) ^_^ I can relate I suppose and when your in the flow of your own flow interupting that flow sorta puts a cork in the flow if know what I mean? Ofcourse you do I talked too much on your thread and kept getting off topic but I need to stop doing that, its just hard lol

10All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
12To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

Wow...... Chickapee! :)

"Lovely to see you again my friend!" I think that's a song or something. Glad to see you....the garden must be getting big by now. Let's walk along to the "next bend." Sorry for all the "Moody Blues" references here.....if you are familiar with them.

Really glad to see you didn't give up on us! I know how things get...just need a break from it all for awhile. I have taken long breaks...but I just keep coming back to it. Much study does weary a person. But there is true "gold" in the Word of God.....the true gold mine. Sorry for my rambling.

I am so thankful for His mercy on us all ...

Psa 100:5For the LORD [is] good; his mercy [is] everlasting; and his truth [endureth] to all generations.
I do believe at this time the ''Key of David'' is His mercy and truth on us unto salvation ...... which is Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour .....

1Pe 1:3Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
copyChkboxOff.gif
1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
copyChkboxOff.gif
1Pe 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
copyChkboxOff.gif
1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
copyChkboxOff.gif
1Pe 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
copyChkboxOff.gif
1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.the mercy seat is where the mystery of Christ is !!

Jud 1:21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Lev 16:2And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy [place] within the vail before the mercy seat, which [is] upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

Isa 16:5And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Footstool

(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)
connected with a throne (2 Chronicles 9:18). Jehovah symbolically dwelt in the holy place between the cherubim above the ark of the covenant. The ark was his footstool (1 Chronicles 28:2; Psalms 99:5; 132:7). And as heaven is God's throne, so the earth is his footstool (Psalms 110:1; Isaiah 66:1; Matthew 5:35).

the Ark of the covenant , where the promises of God are sure !

I do want to explain in better details what the Lords Spirit is is placing in our hearts to Know of this great work of His ! and the ark of testiomony

is Jesus Word to us ...

9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly

Hebrews 9 says soooo much on this new and living way in the Body of Christ

we believe Him and His work and is mighty in great mercy and TRUTH ! :)

With love in Jesus C ....

Fireinfolding.... Yes, I believe it is all related to the same thing.....the "bread of adversity and the water of affliction" refers to the time we have been living in. It has been a time when false teachers bring divisions, envy, strife, confusion to the flock of God.

God has made both “days”….periods of time that fulfills His purpose. He has made the “day of adversity” and the “day of prosperity.” We have been living in this “day of adversity” in which man rules over the flock of God in error…..going after his covetous ways and thoughts. The church has been living in division, envy, strife, confusion during this “day of adversity.”

(Eccl 7:14 KJV) In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

The “day of adversity” is really a “night”….a “night season” to those who fear God. God has made both according to His manifold wisdom. The “Light” and the sun is the Truth in Christ Jesus that will arise after the “night”….after false teachers have had their season to rejoice. They have their reward in this life.

(Psa 74:16 KJV) The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

The “day of adversity” is the “winter” and the “day of prosperity” is the “summer.” The church has been going through a “winter” time…..but the “summer” is fast approaching.

17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

The “enemy have reproached” during the “day of adversity”….in the “night season.”

18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

The “dark places of the earth” are the areas in which the poor in spirit are oppressed….the spiritually poor and needy are not feed by those who “lord” their positions over them. Many of our churches are place of darkness where the leaders care nothing for the flock. But what they do care about is unjust gain. They are shepherds who feed only themselves.

20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

But God has made the “night”….. “weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.” The poor and needy under the care of unjust shepherds will have their time of release from their bondage…from their oppression….from weeping. God will lead them to green pastures and wipe away their tears. The "sun" shall no longer smite them.

(Psa 30:5 KJV) For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Jesus told us to expect the “night” to come in which no man can “work”…..we have been in this “night”….in this “day of adversity.” Man has not been doing the works of God but the wearisome works of man…..toiling “under the sun” of false, covetous teachers….working for things that do not truly profit. We have been living in this “night” where many are “asleep.”

(John 9:4 KJV) I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

In this “night,” men have slept….and the enemy has come to sow the “tares” among the wheat. People sleep at night.

(Mat 13:24 KJV) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

In the “night” have come false teachers who have made doctrines and commandments of men in order for the flock to follow and be taken advantage of. They have enslaved them in their teachings and practices. They make a good living off the spiritually poor and needy. But the Lord has made this “day of adversity” for His purpose….He has made the darkness and it is “night”….where the “beasts of the forest” do creep forth. The false teachers are the “beasts of the forest”….they come forth in the “night.” The “night” is their “day” so to speak.

(Psa 104:20 KJV) Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

They are the “young lions” who have roared after the prey……those spiritually poor and needy that blindly trust their church leaders. There is no “power” that can exist that is not given by God….even they (false teachers) seek their “meat” from God. God has made the “night” and the “day” with all of its “beasts”…..children of the night….and the children of the day.

21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

When the “sun” of righteousness arises…the “day of prosperity,” they shall gather themselves against the Truth but will eventually hide themselves from the face of Him that will sit on the throne to judge them. They shall “lay them down”….they will not be able to stand in the great “day” of His wrath.

22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

The children of the “night’ will seek to hide themselves in the “dens”.....just as the “young lions” shall lay down in their dens.

(Rev 6:15 KJV) And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

They shall “lay down” in their dens because they will not be able to stand.

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The church has been living in the “night season”….in the time of the “day of adversity”…. “under the sun” of the false teachers who make us toil for worldly things that do not profit. It has been a time when servants are on horseback while true kings walk as servants…..a time when folly is in great dignity….a time when men rule over other men to their hurt….a time when Truth has been cast to the ground….a time when a sentence is not carried out speedily against the evil works. No man has been working the works of God during this time. But our righteousness lies in having faith in Him….who has made this time….who “justifieth the ungodly” as it says in Romans. There is a time for every purpose under heaven. During this “night,” He has forgiven our iniquities….our sins are covered….He does not impute sin….because we have faith that the Lord will come and resolve what is ailing the churches….the false teachers who have served their purpose. We believe His Day is coming …..the “day of the Lord”….where there is no “night” to those who fear Him. The "ungodly" are those "young lions" who rule over the church as kings.

(Rom 4:5 KJV) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Read Psalms 73 in context of being in the “night season”….in the “day of adversity.”

(Psa 73:1 KJV) A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

My foot almost slipped because I was envious at the foolish…when I saw the prosperity of the wicked…..in the “day of adversity.”

2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

In the “day of adversity,” the wicked have no problems….their strength has been firm.

4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

They have not been in trouble as other men…..this is the good times for them. Their reward is in this life….in the “day of adversity.”

5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

These are so-called “Godly men” who rule in the church…..but by their works do they deny Him.

11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

They prosper in the world…they increase in riches….they rule as “lords” over the church…they live as kings…they make a grand living and live high….in the “day of adversity” of the poor and needy. They think gain is godliness.

12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

But we, who fear the Lord, are not to give in to envy over their success…for it is coming to an end. It is all according to God’s purpose. We need to see the “night” before we can understand the “day.” We need the contrast to see His glory that is to be revealed in us.

13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

“Until I went into the sanctuary of God”….until I heard the Word of Truth…the opened Scripture of Truth…..then I UNDERSTOOD their end. Our God will give us His understanding to see what has happened and what will happen. All of it has been according to His plan.

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

The “day of prosperity” will arrive……in which there will be a reversal of fortunes. Babylon and all her kings will come to desolation in a moment…and they shall weep over their lost riches.

19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Yes Wheeler it does appear Paul confirms the same when he said when he was first with them, he was with them in fear and trembling and he also speaks of the afflictions. I havent gotten the full picture but its definately a part of the picture.

Another example (just *snipped* in part, from one of my studies) appears to be here where theres a change of hands going on as you express...

Isaiah 51:22 Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, (((Behold)) I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; THOU SHALT NO MORE DRINK IT **AGAIN**

Isaiah 51:23 But I will put it INTO THE HAND **OF THEM that **AFFLICT THEE**; which have said to THY SOUL, Bow down, that we may go over: and **THOU** HAST LAID THY BODY AS THE GROUND, and as the street, **TO THEM** that went over.

Peter says, " Suffered awhile"

1Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, **AFTER THAT** YE HAVE SUFFERED **A WHILE**, **MAKE YOU PERFECT**, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Whereas here it reflects the same, the change in hands and the recompense

2Thes 1:6 **Seeing** it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation **TO THEM** that **TROUBLE YOU**;

And ofcourse...

Isaiah 48:10 (((Behold)) I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of **AFFLICTION**.

Regarding to Isaiah 51:22 He speaks saying ye shall "NO MORE DRINK IT AGAIN" whereas Paul who was with them (at the first) in fear and trembling, (Would that be the Cup of trembling? He is spiritually speaking of?) He said ye have recieved not the spirit of bondage AGAIN to fear and theres the words received not AGAIN... Its just the way he words things you know?

Sorta like a time for everything, even as you point out, in season and out of season and meat in due season etc, speaking of these things we identify with or discern certain times in our own walks maybe.

Blessings brother:thumbsup:

Experience. Until you'e in the position for G-d to use it, it won't be real. Personally, if it hasn't already entered my mind first, I miss it when it happens. If it's in my mind already, the Holy ghost can bring it to my remembrance, and then (hopefully) I won't be too stiff-necked to yield.

I do suppose I study better solo ... when your in the flow of your own flow interupting that flow sorta puts a cork in the flow

Everybody studies 'better' solo, but at least online, I don't think inserting what you see interrupts anything. Sharing can be a challenge, but it challenges us to grow. Seeing what G-d does with someone else can open our eyes to what we're missing ourselves ... like this next post for instance:

this is a favorite chaper Is 33 Isa 33:14The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.

Earlier I mentioned fasting, and this is another angle to that. It doesn't interrupt anything, rather:

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Eph 2:19-22
