  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The overcoming church of Ephesus will be composed of both Jews and Gentiles who will magnify the name of the Lord Jesus. They are to be the “first” who will believe the revealed Truth in this last day. “Fear” is the beginning of wisdom.

(Acts 19:17 KJV) And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and showed their deeds.

Those believing Jews and Gentiles shall get rid of their own wisdom.....they shall burn those books of the “curious arts” in the time of the coming Pentecost of the fullness of times.....spiritually signified by the “fifty thousand pieces of silver.”

19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

The Word of God shall grow mightily and prevail....have power.

20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

From “Ephesus”....those who will first believe in the Lord’s opening up of the Scriptures...shall go out the Truth to the rest of the churches....into all of “Asia” which signifies the time of the revelation of the Truth. “Asia”= “sunrise, resurrection.”

(Acts 19:10 KJV) And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

At “Ephesus,” Paul had laid his hands upon 12 men and the Holy Spirit came on them and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. The last-day church of Ephesus also will have the Holy Spirit of promise come upon them by which they will preach the revealed Truth of the Lord. Paul’s hands = Paul’s gospel as revealed by the Lord. 12 signifies all of the tribes of Israel who are to be sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.....both Jews and Gentiles....who are fellow heirs....who are partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel.

(Acts 19:6 KJV) And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
7 And all the men were about twelve.

They are to be those who are “sealed” in the foreheads....with the Holy Spirit of promise.

(Rev 7:4 KJV) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

They are to be the “firstfruits”....the first to trust in the Lord’s opening up of the Scriptures....the first to be redeemed from among men. “Ephesus” = “first.”

(Rev 14:4 KJV) These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

No guile will be found in their mouth.

5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

(Eph 4:29 KJV) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

They shall stand with the Lord on spiritual mount Zion.

(Rev 14:1 KJV) And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mountSion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

(Eph 2:6 KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

They shall “ascend” into the hill of the Lord.

(Psa 24:3 KJV) Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

They shall receive blessings from the Lord.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

To be blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

(Eph 1:3 KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

We, as the church, are to be made into a “new man” in Christ Jesus. The churches having been living according to the “old man”.....who has been living according to envy and strife.....in hatred for each other. The old, religious man has been living in denominations....fighting over whose interpretation of the Bible is correct. The old, religious man has lived according to his lusts for bigger church buildings, bigger congregations, bigger ministries, etc. The “old man” is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts of this world. But our Lord is merciful and has forgiven the old man of his sins.....and He calls for the old man to repent of his ways and thoughts and put on the “new man.”

(Eph 4:22 KJV) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

We are members of one another....and we are to come together as ONE mind, ONE body, ONE mouth.

25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

We are to be “likeminded” toward one another according to Christ Jesus.

(Rom 15:5 KJV) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

We are to have one mind and one mouth....we are to come together as the body of Christ....the “new man”.....who is assembled according to His knowledge and Truth.

6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

The “new man” is to be RENEWED in His KNOWLEDGE after the image of God. Right now, the churches are living in the image of the “old man.”

(Col3:10 KJV) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

For ALL are under sin.....ALL of missed the mark of the Truth....by the old man’s ways and thoughts. All of the churches have to repent and put on the new man in Christ.

(Rom 3:9 KJV) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

The “old man” of religion lacks understanding.....his mind is in darkness...even though he thinks he is wise. The “old man” seeks after his own vain glory rather than truly seeking after God. He minds earthly things.

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The “old man” teaches falsehoods by literalizing the Scriptures. His teaching divides the church and brings envy and strife. His “throat” is an open sepulchre.....his “tongue” is used to deceive the poor in spirit into his particular church.

13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

His “feet” are swift to shed blood.....his ways lead people astray....dividing them....pitting brother against brother over who is right in their own brand of salvation. The “old man” preaches for his own glory....for riches and power.

15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:

The “old man” of religion takes those who he deceives down the path of destruction and ruin....where there is no peace.

17 And the way of peace have they not known:

The old man of religion has no fear of God before his “eyes.” He is not afraid to hate his brothers and judge others by what they believe. He is not afraid to covet after the things of this world.

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

The “old man” thinks that he is worshipping God with the works of his own hands....he thinks that his own commandments and doctrines are holy. He thinks that the works of his own hands are like God. God has overlooked our ignorance and a time is coming that the churches are to repent of their thoughts and ways....their works of darkness.

(Acts 17:24 KJV) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

The churches have been living in the ignorance of the “old man”.....not knowing what he worships. But our Lord is merciful and forgives us of our ways and thoughts.....and we are to put on the “new man” in Christ Jesus. We are to put off the old man who is corrupt.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

We are to repent of the old man and put on the “new man” who is renewed in His knowledge. The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures to our understanding so that we may overcome the “old man” ....his destructive ways and thoughts. We are to have the “mind” of Christ in the “new man”.....we are to have the “eyes” of the “new man”.....we are to have the “mouth” of the new man.....we are to have His “feet.” We are to come together as His body in the Truth.....in Christ Jesus. There are to be many members, yet but ONE, united body. Not everyone is the “eye”....not every one is the “mouth”.....not every one is the “head”....all have different purposes but function as ONE.

(1 Cor 12:20 KJV) But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

But not everyone is going to accept the new man....they are not going to put on the “new man” when it is the appointed time. They will be like Esau who will for a morsel of meat sell his birthright. They are to be the “man of sin.”

(Heb 12:16 KJV) Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

They, as the “man of sin,” will not overcome their lusts for the things of this world and they will hate their brothers over the Truth. They will hate the “new man” just as Cain hated Abel. Cain loved his own evil works. He was a tiller of the ground.....he minded earthly things. He loved his big church buildings, his big ministries, his religious merchandise.......he was a tiller of the “ground”....earthly things. The older brother “Cain” will hate the younger “new man” because the new man’s works will be in His righteousness. Today’s “Cain”....the man of sin... will not overcome his lusts for the things of this world.

(1 John 3:11 KJV) For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

The “man of sin” will be revealed by the Truth exposing what is in his heart. He will oppose and contradict His knowledge and Truth when it is revealed. The “man of sin” will also made up of many members in one body and one mind. The “man of sin” will not humble himself at the revelation of the Truth. Instead of being humbled and raised up to sit in heavenly places in Christ, he will raise up in his own religious pride. The “man of sin” will reject the “new man”....his brother. They will resist the revelation of the Truth....they will be of a corrupt mind:

(2 Tim 3:8 KJV) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

The man of sin will have a corrupt“mind” destitute of the Truth.

(1 Tim 6:5 KJV) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

They will be given over to a reprobate mind....a rejected mind....to work all unrighteousness. They will perish in their own corruption. The “man of sin” is to be rejected.

(Rom 1:28 KJV) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

The “man of sin” will have “eyes” that cannot cease from sin. His “eyes” will be full of spiritual adultery.

(2 Pet 2:14 KJV) Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

The “man of sin” will have “feet” that will forsake the right way and lead him astray.

15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

The “man of sin” will, with his “mouth,” speak great swelling words of vanity in order to deceive those who have escaped from error in the time of the revelation of the Truth. They will seek to lead others away from the Truth in the most critical time.

(2 Pet 2:18 KJV) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

The “man of sin” will speak evil against the way of Truth.....and will speak evil against those who accept the Truth.

(2 Pet 2:2 KJV) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

As stated previously, the epistle to Ephesus is written specifically to those who will first believe in the revelation of the Truth.....those who will overcome. They are the church of Ephesus written to in the book of Revelation also. “Ephesus” = “first.” The last day spiritual church of “Ephesus” is to repent at the hearing of the Truth and do the “first works” of wisdom.

(Rev 2:5 KJV) Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

They had “fallen” but at the belief of the revealed Scripture of Truth, they shall be raised up in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This is not literal but spiritual....they are to be given the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. They are to be the beginning of the building/renewing of the body of Christ in this last day. They are to be in the mind of Christ.....the “HEAD.” They are to be the apostles in the revealed Truth of the Lord. They are to try those who say they are apostles and are not. They represent the “head” that is to be wise in judgment.

(Rev 2:2 KJV) I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

In this last day renewing of the Spirit within the church, God sets some in the church FIRST apostles. “Ephesus” = “first” = the apostles= in the “head” of Christ of the body. Not all are apostles....each part of the body has a different but vital function. One cannot exist without the other.

(1 Cor 12:28 KJV) And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

The overcoming church of Ephesus will be given the Spirit of wisdom and revelation:

(Eph 1:17 KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

By His wisdom, the “head” ...the church of spiritual Ephesus....will understand righteousness and JUDGMENT.....and EQUITY. Remember how Solomon was given wisdom and judged with equity. The “Head” is for wisdom to judge.

(Prov 2:6 KJV) For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

The church of Ephesus is to “try” those who false apostles. Solomon also with His wisdom tried the two women who each said that the living child was hers. Solomon was able to discern who was the woman of falsehood from that of the Truth with God’s wisdom.

(1 Ki 3:28 KJV) And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

In this last day, the churches are to be renewed by the Holy Spirit.....the washing of REGENERATION. He saves His believing, overcoming church from their sins....their misses of the Truth. The churches have been living in error....in mistakes....in ignorance of His Truth. But the time is coming when He will reveal His knowledge and Truth to us by which we can come together in one mind and one body.....forgiving each other. The regeneration is the rebuilding process by which the church comes together in Him.

(Titus 3:5 KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

There will be a “regeneration”.....a spiritual renovation...a restoration of the church in the revealed Truth. It is plainly obvious by the fractured state of the churches that this has NOT come yet. But it may be on the verge of happening as His Truth is being revealed day by day to those who are hearing the Spirit in this last time.

(Mat 19:28 KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Now the “EYES” are those spiritual leaders of the church today.....the “church of Laodicea.” The corresponding letter written to them specifically is Colossians. “Laodicea” means “people of the judgment” and “Colossians” means “correction, punishment.” The “eyes” have been blinded by their riches.....their wealth....their grand church buildings, their religious merchandise, their growing numbers of followers, etc. The “eyes” of the church cannot see this day and need to be healed. The “eyes” are the prophets.....the rulers of the church. They are the “SEERS” who have had their “eyes” closed by the spirit of deep sleep.

(Isa 29:10 KJV) For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

(Isa 30:10 KJV) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

A “seer” is a prophet in the church. He is the ruler....the “watchman”....who has been given a watch over the flock of the Lord by the Lord.

(1 Sam 9:9 KJV) (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)

Those “eyes” are the “prophets” who preach for money. We have many leaders (watchmen/seers/ prophets) in our churches today who preach for riches. They prophesy lies in order to seduce the people.

(Micah 3:11 KJV) The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

The “eyes” of the church.....the “seers”....the “prophets”.... are “blinded” by their material wealth. They have no spiritual wealth....and so the rest of the church underneath their care is living in spiritual darkness....in famine....in destitution of true riches in Christ. How GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS.

(Mat 6:22 KJV) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

The “eyes” are not to set their gaze on the riches of this world....big church buildings, big bank accounts, big ministries, big congregations, big religious corporations, big sales in religious goods and merchandise....ALL are EARTHLY things.

(Prov 23:5 KJV) Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

The “eyes” will be opened so that they may see their spiritual wretchedness. They are to be healed of their “blindness” so that the whole body can be made full of His Light.

The Lord will set some in the overcoming church first (Ephesus) as apostles. Secondly, prophets (the church of Laodicea/ Colossians) and thirdly teachers. The teachers represent the “MOUTH” of the body.

(1 Cor 12:28 KJV) And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Paul wrote to both the church of Ephesus and Colossians (there are many similarities between both epistles) about wanting a “door of utterance” to be opened up so that the mystery of Christ can be spoken:

(Col 4:2 KJV) Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

(Eph 6:19 KJV) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

The church in “Philadelphia” represents that “mouth” that shall be opened. They have kept HIS WORD. They have been in SILENCE with His Word while the rest of the churches have departed from loving one another.

(Amos 5:13 KJV) Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

(Psa 39:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

The “mouth” has been shut while the rest of the churches have strayed off course...going after falsehoods and riches. The church in “Philadelphia” are those people who practice brotherly love....they love one another. This church has existed in the last 2000 years among us....protected by God from the evil that is prevalent in the churches....who have fallen into temptation. They love one another even though there is confusion, envy and strife among the churches about who is right and wrong....who is richer. They GET IT....they understand that to love one another is the doctrine of Christ....and they practice it. They do not worry about who is correct and who is not...they have faith that the Lord is coming to make things right again. They have PATIENCE. They are to have their “mouth” opened in order to reveal the mystery of Christ.
(Rev 3:7 KJV) And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

What John wrote in Revelation to the church of Philadelphia is written to the church who loves one another. They are to be the “mouth” of the body that is to be opened.....to speak the “mystery of Christ.” 1st and 2nd Thessalonians are the epistles written specifically to that church that loves each other. Unlike the other churches that are “asleep” and are dead in trespasses and sins, this church is “alive and remains” within Christ. They follow Christ by loving one another. The church of brotherly love does not need to be written to about loving each other......they are already doing it....taught by God to love one another. “Philadelphia” = “brotherly love.”

(1 Th 4:9 KJV) But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

They keep the “word of his patience.”

(Rev 3:10 KJV) Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

We are to wait on the Lord and keep His way....to love one another....be in peace with one another.

(Psa 37:34 KJV) Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Likewise, we see the “Thessalonians” also are remembered for their labor of love and patience....in waiting for the Son from heaven. The Lord comes to open up the Scriptures for our understanding....something we are to wait for. Others have given in to temptation and have turned the “stone” of the Scriptures into the bread of deceit and wickedness within the churches. They have succumbed to preaching falsehoods...forming doctrines and commandments of men..... by literalizing the Scriptures in order to obtain earthly things. The other churches that do not have love for one another are “asleep.” The only doctrine that was to be followed in the mean time (keeping the word of patience) was to love each other.....by doing so, we demonstrate our love for God.

(1 Th 1:3 KJV) Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

The “Thessalonians” have love toward each other that abounds:

(2 Th 1:3 KJV) We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

They have patience......

4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

(2 Th 3:5 KJV) And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

God has kept the church that loves one another from the temptation that the other churches have fallen into.

(Rev 3:10 KJV) Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

He has kept them from evil.

(2 Th 3:3 KJV) But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

They have followed the “doctrine of Christ”....to love one another.

(John 13:34 KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this....all men shall know that they are his disciples...who keep His word and has not denied His name.

35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

The church of Philadelphia/ Thessalonians are THE example to the rest of the churches that are to awake from their “sleep” and believe in the revealed Truth.

(1 Th 1:7 KJV) So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

Even the enemies will come and recognize them:

(Rev 3:9 KJV) Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

The church of Philadelphia / Thessalonians is the church that is “alive and remains” because of their love for one another. They have entered through the narrow gate that leads to life. They are the “few” that have found it....by loving one another.

(Mat 7:14 KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The church of Philadelphia has “little strength”.....because they are the few who have found life in Christ....who remain alive in this time of temptation.

(Rev 3:8 KJV) I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

The rest of the churches are “asleep” .....they are living in the darkness of hating one another because of their doctrines and commandments of men that they have wrested from the Scriptures. They have entered through the wide gate into ruin. It brings the “sword, famine, pestilence and death” to those who do wrest the Bible.....leaning upon their own understanding.

(1 Th 4:13 KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

Yet, Jesus showed by example that they are to be raised up. They are to be “awakened” from their “sleep”....from their living in darkness.... hating each other. They are to be made “alive” with the coming of His Truth....His knowledge....His wisdom.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

The church who loves one another is “alive and remains” unto the PRESENCE of the Lord.....they are already in His presence. They do not need to be “awakened” from sleep....they are currently alive in the Life of Christ.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

They are already in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ by loving one another. They do not need to be awakened.

(1 Th 2:19 KJV) For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

The Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout....and the “dead” shall rise first.

(1 Th 4:16 KJV) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Who are the “dead?” Is it not the church of Ephesus that is “dead” in sins and trespasses?

(Eph 2:5 KJV) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Who is dead and shall rise first....to be caught up in the “clouds?” Those who first (the church of spiritual Ephesus) believe in the Scripture of Truth shall be raised up together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

For the Lord Himself shall DESCEND from heaven.....with the opening up of the Scriptures....with the voice of the chief messenger of the Truth.

(Eph 4:8 KJV) Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

He that descends from heaven with a shout shall have the “dead” rise up first to sit together in the heavenly places. This is NOT LITERAL. He will give us who “awaken” in the spiritual morning to His Truth....at the sound of the trumpet.....the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the mind of Christ.....the true “heavenly place.”

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

We are to participate with Him in the spiritual restoration of the body.

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

The churches are to be awakened from their sleep and to come into the unity of the faith and of the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God unto a PERFECT MAN......unto the measure of the stature of the FULLNESS of Christ.

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We are to be awakened from our sleep so that we are no longer “children.” The churches have lived in envy and strife with one another....not in love. They have been children living as carnal men....being tossed to and fro....carried about by every wind of doctrine. Carnal men preach carnal things that divide the church and have led it down the broad way of ruin.

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

“Ephesus” = “first.” They represent the church who will “first” believe in His opening up of the Scriptures in this last day. They are to spiritually “ascend” ....rise up....with His Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.....in the MIND of Christ. The church of Philadelphia is also to be caught up into the "heavenly places" as the “MOUTH” of the body.....as the OPEN DOOR into heaven.

(Rev 3:7 KJV) And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

(Rev 4:1 KJV) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

The Word of the Lord shall “sound” out from the church of the “Thessalonians / Philadelphia”.....they are to be the open “mouth” of the body.

(1 Th 1:7 KJV) So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

Interesting Wheeler!

Do you think these connect?

Col 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

A voice as a trumpet, words (a door of utterance) or as a door opened in heaven, of which conversation is shown in heaven...

Phil 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

An entrance (or an "opened door") is as a "ministered one"

2Peter 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

"Setting before thee an open door" (entrance) "a ministered entrance" even as an entrance speaks to "thy words" (as well)

Psalm 119:30 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Hope you are well brother

Hi Fireinfolding,

Yes.... I think there is a connection between a “door of utterance” being opened and a door being opened in heaven. All those verses are connected. They are speaking of the same thing.....the revelation of the Truth....the Scripture of Truth.....heavenly wisdom. The “door” is the “mouth” that is to “open” and speak the mystery of Christ. The mystery of Christ is hidden within the Scriptures and needs an interpreter to speak it....the open door of utterance. The Scriptures are to be opened up in the Truth and revelation of Christ Jesus.

(Col 4:3 KJV) Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

The “door/gate” is symbolic of the “mouth” that speaks the revelation of Christ Jesus. The “mouth” has been closed in the churches these many years.

(Psa 141:3 KJV) Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Those who love each other (the church of Philadelphia / Thessalonians) have kept their “mouths” closed...they have kept the “door” of their lips from sin. They have studied to be “quiet.” They have not studied and opened their mouths to preach falsehoods like the rest of the churches. They have not “missed the mark” of the Truth with their words.

(1 Th 4:11 KJV) And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

Again, in “quietness” has those who loved each other work.

(2 Th 3:12 KJV) Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

The church that loves one another has been one of few words. They do not preach doctrines and commandments of men....which is the evil that comes from the “multitude of words.”

(Mat 5:37 KJV) But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

They have kept the “door” of their lips......he that refrains his lip is wise. In the rest of the churches that have fallen “asleep, ” there have been many words of many people.....which brings about contentions, divisions, envy, strife, hatred among the churches. Not so with the church of “brotherly love”....Philadelphia.

(Prov 10:19 KJV) In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

When there is no interpreter of the Scriptures (Christ Jesus is to be waited for,) there should be SILENCE in the church. The church of Philadelphia / Thessalonians have kept the word of patience....having faith for the Lord to come and open up the Scriptures.

(1 Cor 14:28 KJV) But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

This is not a literal silence...but a silence of preaching the Scriptures according to our own wisdom. When man preaches the Bible with his own understanding, then comes the divisions, envy and strife. Man brings the spiritual sword, pestilence, famine and death as a result of leaning upon his own understanding of the Scriptures. Religious man has fallen into the temptation of making the stone of the Scriptures into bread for others to eat. Only this bread is the bread of deceit....falsehoods. All of man’s commandments and doctrines are the result of not keeping his mouth SHUT. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

(Prov 18:20 KJV) A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Only one church is “alive and remains”......the church who loves one another (Philadelphia / Thessalonians)....who has kept silent when the rest of the churches have filled their lives with divisions, contentions.....death.....by preaching their doctrines and commandments of men. The church that loves one another is awake while the rest have fallen asleep. Their works have been in “quietness”....silence....while the rest have gone down the broad path of ruin. The church who loves one another has kept their mouths and tongues.

(Prov 21:23 KJV) Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Those that have opened up wide his lips have destruction....ruin. They preach falsehoods based on their literal understanding of the Bible which produces contentions...strife among the churches. They were supposed to have faith and wait for the Lord to come and open up the Scriptures to our understanding.....in the mean time, we were to love one another....abide in Christ....in the doctrine of Christ.

(Prov 13:3 KJV) He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

Many have entered through the “wide gate” of ruin. The “mouth” of the false prophets is that wide door. Anyone who listens to the open mouth of false prophets is living in contention with the rest of the brothers.

(Mat 7:13 KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The teachings of false prophets = the wide gate = ruin.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The “simple” believe every word.

(Prov 14:15 KJV) The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

A fool’s mouth is his destruction.....and they lead those who listen to them down the path to ruin.

(Prov 18:6 KJV) A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.
7 A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.

Only the few have found life.....they love one another. But the woman of falsehood.....Babylon....has cast down many.....she has led many down the paths of ruin... to the chambers of death....living in contention.

(Prov 7:24 KJV) Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Sheol opens her mouth without measure....the broad gate....the broad way to ruin. Ruin = not loving each other and all the bad things that come with it.

(Isa 5:14 KJV) Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

The evil men go beyond letting their yes be yes and no being no. They lean upon their own understanding of the Bible in order to preach falsehoods......and unfortunately have led many in the churches astray.

(Prov 4:14 KJV) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

The Lord will open the silent mouth. The church who loves one another will have their mouth opened in order to preach the mystery of Christ.....to reveal His mysteries. They have been in silence...until the time comes for the Lord to open their mouth....the “open door” of the Truth. A mouth of wisdom and understanding is to open up.

(Rev 3:8 KJV) I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

A “great door” is to be opened. The adversaries will not be able to “gainsay” or resist.....no man will be able to shut the “open door.” The adversaries will be against the speaking of the revealed Truth because it will disrupt their lives that are filled with church riches and doctrines that support their denominations.

(1 Cor 16:9 KJV) For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

The Lord will give the church who loves one another a mouth and wisdom.....by which the adversaries will not be able to fight against.

(Luke 21:15 KJV) For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

The church that loves one another are the “babes” that have had “little strength.” But the Lord has ordained strength for them in order that through their mouths shall the enemy be stilled. No man can shut the “open door.”

(Psa 8:2 KJV) Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Interestingly, the Greek word for “babes” in Matthew is “nepios” which means “not speaking.” It supports the idea that these babes have not been speaking previously...but are to have their mouths opened in the time of the revelation of the Truth. They are “babes” of wisdom......of heavenly Jerusalem who is the mother of us all

(Mat 21:16 KJV) And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

They are only children when it comes to evil. They have refrained their lips from evil...they have kept their mouths from sin.....their yes was yes, and no, no.

(1 Cor 14:20 KJV) Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

Yes Wheeler, I can see these things do relate, that which is UNspeakable needs UTterance by Him:thumbsup:

Prov 17:18 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.

1Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious

2Cr 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Col 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ.

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it:

2Cr 2:12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

Beautiful really :thumbsup:

Fireinfolding,

Cool! Thanks for those verses. A "door" is to be opened up....a door of utterance.

As stated, the church of Philadelphia / Thessalonians represents the “mouth.” Those who overcome will also be made a pillar in the temple of God.

(Rev 3:12 KJV) Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Since we are the building that will be fitly framed together and will grow into a holy temple in the Lord, the church of Philadelphia must represent a part of the temple. Likewise, the head (church of Ephesus) and the eyes of the body (church of Laodicea / Colossians) must also represent parts of the temple.

(Eph 2:19 KJV) Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The “pillars” of the temple were found at the ENTRANCE. There were two pillars at the PORCH of the temple on the east side. The “porch” is at the “mouth” of the holy temple which the overcoming church is built into. The church of Philadelphia is to be a pillar in the temple......the pillars located at the “mouth” of the temple or porch/entrance of the temple.

(1 Ki 7:21 KJV) And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
22 And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.

One pillar on the right side was named “Jachin” which means “He will establish.” The Lord will establish the overcoming church of Philadelphia as the “mouth” of the body. The Lord will establish His word through the mouth. The mouth of the just brings forth wisdom....His wisdom and understanding.

(Prov 10:31 KJV) The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

It is no coincidence that Jesus taught in the temple in Solomon’s “porch”......symbolic for the mouth that brings forth God’s wisdom.

(John 10:23 KJV) And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

His sheep hear His voice......that comes from the “mouth” of wisdom....Solomon’s porch....at the temple of God...who we are to be built into by His knowledge.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

Thank you Wheeler! I'm not sure Im catching the two pillars correctly yet, though I do see (as you pointed out) the pillars on Solomons porch.

In accord with how you show them in wisdom or the mouth of wisdom could Peter and John (who were two of the three Paul said "who seemed to be pillars") be seen in this as well?

Acts 3:11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

Peters mouth is spoke of also

Acts 15:7 Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

1Cr 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Yet as by Peters mouth they (the gentiles) would first hear, then as Paul said regarding the ministry "contrarywise" they saw Paul was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcision whereas Peter to the uncircumcision.

Whereas through these he would build his Church (and theres also the hewing out seven pillars)

Prov 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

Solomon being a figure of wisdom and the porch of Solomon as well as one greater then Solomon is here (Christ) the Wisdom of God.

Is there some difference put between the two pillars and the seven pillars that you could maybe expound upon a bit more? I have yet to put the difference or see these things aright yet myself. Theres two pillars signified, seven pillars signified and twelve pillars signified. I keep running through my mind the law and the prophets (the first house and the former glory) the hewing out of seven pillars (seven churches?) and then theres twelve pillars and elsewhere speaks of the twelve appostles of the lamb the church is built upon. Pillars being somewhat of a support.

Then theres that similitude of Samson set between two pillars to bring the house down but I am not sure yet, just keep these things in mind because I havent studied them out yet so they are here and there but not correctly ordered.

Can you tell I have no footing on this yet?^_^

No need to answer my "many questions" Wheeler lol but I just thought perhaps you could help make a distinction between the two and the seven pillars maybe so I can better sort out my jumbled thinking here

Hi Fireinfolding,

I’m uncertain as to the meaning of the two pillars....but let me muddle my way through it for the next couple of days...thinking out loud so to speak. I’m pressed for time this morning...not gonna get much thinking out.

First, the pillars are in the porch at the entrance of the temple. The Hebrew word for “porch” is “'uwlam” which comes from the word “alam” which means “to be dumb, to be silent” which indicates the “mouth” that has been silent while the churches have strayed. The church of Philadelphia had kept silent....keeping His word....while the rest of the churches had fallen into temptation.

(1 Ki 7:21 KJV) And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.

Now, I have been linking the church of Philadelphia to the “mouth” of the body....or the “porch” of the temple. The Lord said he would make them a PILLAR in the temple....in the porch of the temple.....at the entrance of the temple.

He also mentioned the “key of David”....and the opening up of the “mouth” that had been “shut.”

(Rev 3:7 KJV) And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

And where is the key of David found? On the “shoulder”....or the NECK as the Hebrew word “shekem” means “ the neck....the place between the shoulders.” The “neck” connects the head to the rest of the body....the “neck” is where the VOICE originates and proceeds out of the “mouth.”

(Isa 22:22 KJV) And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

His voice (the key) brings in the government of God (the throne of David)....in His knowledge and Truth. With His government, the whole body is brought together in unity...in judgment....in righteousness. There will be peace....He will “order it”....and establish judgment....with justice:

(Isa 9:6 KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

The “pillars” represent the “neck(s)” of the body. The neck is the source of the voice (voice box.) It connects the “head” to the “body”....and the “mouth” is completely dependent upon the neck. The pillars are at the “porch” of the temple.....the temple is the “head.” Since David is mentioned....and the government of God, the pillars must represent the kings of David and Solomon by their “names”....which is not a new idea. Of course, they are “types” for the Lord Jesus Christ. The right hand pillar is named “Jachin” which means “he will establish.” What is established? His throne is established forever as promised to David. Jachin = the right hand pillar = David = the throne/government of the Lord forever. The church of Philadelphia will have its inheritance with the saints in Light.......the saints in particular = David and Solomon.

(1 Chr 17:14 KJV) But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

The “mouth” is the source of the voice of wisdom, strength, power, government. Solomon = wisdom. There is a “right hand” pillar and a “left hand” pillar. What is in the right hand and left hands of wisdom? The right hand = long life = the government/ throne of David forever. The left hand = true riches and honor ( Solomon’s wisdom.)

(Prov 3:16 KJV) Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

I’m outta time......will talk more later.....To be continued.....

Thanks Wheeler, you know...I was reasoning with it after the cross somewhat as well, with his out stretched hands given the cross of Christ is the wisdom and power of God. And since flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of God the key I had thought would refer to the cross placed upon the shoulder (of which we are to take up if we follow him) but nevertheless it speaks of the preaching of the cross as well. But it does speak of their throats being an open grave too.

I dunno though, I mean even if in one hand is a long life, he says "he that seeks to save his life will lose it but he that loses His life for my sake will find it", and on the other hand (if it be riches and honour) theres also the saying "humility before honour" and that which speaks to all the spiritual riches and blessings we have in Christ Jesus who is made unto us Wisdom. Though seeing Samson (who had his two eyes removed) between two pillars that he might place his hands and bring the house down killing more in his death then in his life also sorta reminds me of Christ in some way. Sometimes these things seem to blend in so many other things it appears but I am still way too unfamiliar with all the types to know what I am talking about here, if I err I dont mind doing so on Christ but sure wish for a better understanding because I am without it on these things.

I will just read though and its best I say nothing given I know I dont quite get all this yet and I do have a habit of interupting a flow (sorry bout that) lol (zipping it up here) Mouth and silence pertains to me too ^_^

Blessings my brother enjoy your posts:thumbsup:

Fireinfolding, I really appreciate your thoughts….it causes me to think and consider as well. I certainly don’t know everything…and I welcome your feedback. I know I fumble around in here a lot…..I guess what I’m doing here is thinking out loud…..trying to reach a conclusion of what I’m trying to say…..something that makes sense to myself. As you can tell, that is a long and convoluted process for me….lol. I’m learning as I go.

I agree with you….and I think you are correct about the “key.” One must have humility before honor, riches, wisdom. One must deny himself….take up the cross and follow Him. Jesus had been talking about the “key” all along. It is the Lord who comes in this last day to open up the Scriptures to our understanding….and we are to hear His voice when He does this. Man must humble himself….he must deny his own religious thoughts and ways in order to understand His wisdom and knowledge. As it was said in Psalms by David, if we will hear His voice today, we are not to harden our hearts.

(Heb 4:7 KJV) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

We are not to stiffen our “neck:”

(Jer 17:23 KJV) But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

Our Lord comes and opens up the Scriptures to our understanding in this last day. He will show us our sins...our missing of the mark of the Truth. We have all sinned. Religious men sin through their doctrines and commandments....missing the mark of the spiritual Truth. He has taught the Bible in support of his own doctrines in error. When man hears the Truth, he is to receive it and not oppose it....rejecting it for his own ways and thoughts.

The “key of David” is the key to knowledge.

(Luke 11:52 KJV) Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

The “key of David” is the fear of the Lord.....which is the beginning of knowledge. Men who will cling onto their church doctrines and commandments in the time of hearing the revealed Truth will not share in the government of God.....because they will have despised His wisdom and instruction. We are to humbly accept His knowledge…..we are to repent of our sins.

(Prov 1:7 KJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

Again, as spoken by David, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.....this is the “key” to receiving our inheritance with the saints in Light. We are to believe in His revealed Word when we hear it. We are to repent of our sins when we hear His revealed Word.

(Psa 111:10 KJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

We are to HEAR the conclusion of the whole matter as stated by Solomon.....we are to FEAR God (the “key” to all things to be inherited) and keep His commandments.

(Eccl 12:13 KJV) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

If we search for wisdom as a hid treasure, then shall we understand the FEAR of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. The fear of the Lord is the “key to knowledge.” We must humble ourselves…..humility before true honor.

(Prov 2:2 KJV) So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Out of His MOUTH comes knowledge and understanding:

6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

(Prov 22:4 KJV) By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.

We shall find the spiritual wisdom of God as revealed in the Scriptures if we humbly accept it. God will give to those who ask of Him…..He gives to all men liberally. But what is given must not be “unbraided” by men…..men must not defame the wisdom that He reveals in His Word. Religious man must humbly accept His wisdom and instruction…..religious man must repent of His sins. The key = fear of the Lord. It is men who must not defame His wisdom.

(James 1:5 KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

The “secret of the Lord” is with them that fear Him. The fear of the Lord is the “key” to knowledge. He will show them His covenant:

(Psa 25:14 KJV) The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.

He will show us the “sure mercies of David:”

(Isa 55:3 KJV) Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

David demonstrates to us the showing fear for the Lord after he understood his sin concerning Bathsheba. David shows us the “key:”

(Psa 51:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

We are to acknowledge our sins……we are to humble ourselves at His revealed Truth. Whoever humbles himself, shall be exalted.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the revealed Truth is not in us. If we say we have no sin, then we haven’t humbled ourselves at His Scripture of Truth.

(1 John 1:8 KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Like David, we are to confess our sins. David shows us how to have fear for the Lord…..the “key of David.” He will show to us the sure mercies of David.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

And continuing in Psalms….David confesses his sins…showing fear for the Lord:

4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

The Lord will renew us in the “regeneration”….in the time of refreshing. He will reveal His Scripture of Truth to us by which we are to fear Him….to humble ourselves at His Word. He will renew us.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

The “key of David” will open up our mouths so that we may TEACH the transgressors His ways……so that the sinners of the churches may be converted to Him. It is the religious that have to repent of their ways….just like the religious Jews had to repent of their ways and thoughts 2000 years ago. It is the gentile turn.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

The “key of David” …..the fear of the Lord…will lead us to His knowledge, wisdom….His government. He shall open up our mouths so that we may show forth His praise.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

We must have a broken spirit and a contrite heart. David was a man after God’s own heart. David had the “key” which ushers in the wisdom of God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom…..Solomon’s kingship.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

It is the churches who must repent….they are the “sinners” because they have gone astray. There will be joy in heaven over those who will repent in this last day.

(Luke 15:4 KJV) What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

The Lord will lay us upon His shoulders……His government. Our inheritance is with the saints in Light….with David and Solomon. We are to be kings and priests.

5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

We are to be participants in the government of God…in the same promises made to David and Solomon. By fearing the Lord after we hear His revealed Truth, we can then understand His wisdom and be able to be a “mouth” to teach others with.

(Isa 22:22 KJV) And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

But there will be those in the church who will despise the government of God:

(2 Pet 2:10 KJV) But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

When they will hear the revealed Truth, they will not humble themselves….but exalt themselves in their own religious pride….their own thoughts and ways. They will have NO FEAR of God before their eyes.

(Psa 36:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

In his religious pride, men will seek to throw away the “key” to knowledge for others…..to prevent others from entering into His kingdom….by way of not having fear for the Lord and His Truth. They shall deny the Lord…..contradict and oppose His voice…His words. We are to hear His voice and not harden our hearts.

(2 Pet 2:1 KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

BEAUTIFUL WHEELER!! :clap:

Man I'll tell ya Wheeler sometimes colors in the right place (for me) just hit the ball out of the stadium for me ^_^

His words are so beautiful! Yes the key of knowledge, they took away and hindered others from entering who ""were entering"".

Wow...The key, even the government shall be upon his shoulder, and the part referring to cheifly them who ""walk after the flesh"" which despise government. Whereas those who are Christs have crucified the flesh with its lusts it speaks of. Im still working this out but you gave me alot here thanks so much Wheeler, praise our great God:thumbsup:

Hi Razeontherock,

Thank you for your interest. Indeed, prayer and fasting are part of the “key.”

We are to “fast” as we wait for the Lord from heaven. We “fast” from the bread of wickedness and the wine of Babylon.

(Mark 2:18 KJV) And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
2:19And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

The bridegroom has gone into heaven….but will return to invite us to the marriage “supper.”

20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

He has been taken away into heaven but shall return. We are to wait for His return.

(Acts 1:11 KJV) Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

But before He left to go into heaven, He instructed us……the “doctrine of Christ”…..to love one another. Loving one another as we wait for Him is the “daily bread” we are to eat and the “water” of life that satisfies our thirst.

(John 13:33 KJV) Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Meanwhile, we are to fast from the “bread of wickedness” and the “wind of violence:”

(Prov 4:16 KJV) For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

We are to fast from the “bread of deceit”…..the bread of men:

(Prov 20:17 KJV) Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

We are to fast from the “bread of idleness:”

(Prov 31:27 KJV) She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

We are to beware of the leaven of those who would like to bring us into bondage. It is the teachings of false prophets that we are to beware of. We are not to desire their “food.” Their “leaven of bread”…..teachings….produces strife, debate, envy, etc among the brothers. Their teachings stir up contention and bring divisions….something to be avoided.

(Mat 16:11 KJV) How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

The church has been in a time of testing…in a “prison”….for a spiritually-discerned “ten days.” Interestingly, Daniel and his colleagues had been tested for “ten days” also. Their “test” was a test by food. Daniel and the others with him ate only “pulse” and drank water for ten days while the children of the king of Babylon ate his “meat” and drank his wine.

(Dan 1:11 KJV) Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

“Pulse” means “something sown”…..and is spiritually speaking of sowing according to the Spirit…..which the fruit of is LOVE, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, goodness, meekness, and temperance. Notice that knowledge is not in that list….we are to wait upon the Lord in love for one another….while wait for His knowledge and wisdom to come….while we wait for Him to open up the Scriptures for our understanding. We drink living “water” when we sow according to the Spirit.

12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Our “countenances” shall be “fairer and fatter” in the flesh when we eat the “daily bread” of loving one another in Christ and drink the living “water” of life. Those who do live in peace with one another have a fairer countenance as compared to those who have eaten Babylon’s “meat” and drank her “wine.”

13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

Our Lord is full of mercy and forgiveness to those who have succumbed to temptation…who have ate of the meat of Babylon and drank her wine. Men have relied upon their own understanding of the Bible before the Lord comes to give us His understanding. Their doctrines are really the bread of men and not the bread of life.

16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Then, God shall give us His knowledge and wisdom….He shall give us His understanding of the Scriptures…..understanding all “visions and dreams.” So “fasting” is part of the “KEY” to His understanding….we are to fast from Babylon’s food while we wait upon Him to come with His knowledge. Our Lord comes down from heaven with His knowledge.

17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

And at the “END OF DAYS,” we shall be brought in before the KING of kings and LORD of lords. We shall see His “face” in all understanding.

18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

Like Daniel and his fellow wise men, we shall commune with the Lord who will come and “sup” with us and we with Him. We shall stand before the KING of kings in all matters of wisdom and understanding which He shall give us.

19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Our wisdom and understanding in Him shall be better than those of the false teachers.

20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

As Moses went into the mountain, so Jesus has gone into heaven. As the children of Israel were to wait for Moses, so also we are to wait for Him to come back. In the meantime, we were to love one another and have joy and goodness. But as the children of Israel, many in the churches have risen up to “play”….to “eat and drink” and bow down to the works of their hands.

(Exo 32:4 KJV) And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Many have “corrupted” themselves….they had not sown after the Spirit.

7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

But as Moses interceded for the children of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ also intercedes for our sins…..our missing of the mark of the Truth. Our sins are forgiven because of our ignorance. Moses came down from the mountain with instructions on how to build the tabernacle….and so our Lord shall also descend from heaven to build His church….in the wisdom and understanding of God. He shall burn the gold “calf”….all the works of the flesh…..the works of our hands that we think are like God. We are not to have any graven image of Him…our doctrines, commandments and traditions are not like Him in any way. We are to purge out the “old leaven” of religious man.

(1 Cor 5:7 KJV) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

And we are to keep the “feast” of the unleavened bread of sincerity and TRUTH.

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Our Lord comes to invite us into the “marriage supper”…..the revealing of His Scripture of Truth. The “marriage supper” = “the TRUE sayings of God.” We are to “fast” from our own ways and thoughts so that we may enter in.

(Rev 19:9 KJV) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

We were to be like men WAITING for the Lord to come….watching for Him….so that we may gladly receive Him. Jesus Christ is the TRUTH. When it “came to pass” = the revelation of Christ Jesus…..the returning from heaven. We are to gladly receive His Truth…His knowledge and wisdom.

(Luke 8:40 KJV) And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

We are to wait for the Lord so that we may partake of His knowledge and wisdom. He shall make us to sit down to “meat” and will come forth and serve us…..the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

(Luke 12:36 KJV) And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

“And it came to pass”….a prophecy about the coming time of the revelation of the Truth, He shall sit down to the “meat” of His Word with His disciples…His learners…. and interpret it for us so that we may have our “eyes” opened…..the “eyes” of our understanding.

(Luke 24:30 KJV) And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

And then we shall no longer see Him after the flesh….but according to the Spirit. A time is coming in which we are to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. He comes to “open to us the Scriptures”…..the Lord’s SUPPER. The Lord’s SUPPER = the opening up of the Scripture of Truth. ….the TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD.

31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

....continued from previous post..

We are to be built up into a SPIRITUAL house…..so that we may offer up SPIRITUAL sacrifices. He comes down from heaven with the knowledge to build up this house. We are to believe in His Truth as revealed by the opening up of the Scriptures in this last day….so that we may worship Him in Spirit and Truth.

(1 Pet 2:5 KJV) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

We are to be co-participants in gathering together all things in Him….with His Spirit of wisdom and revelation that He shall give those who first trust in Christ….in the Scripture of Truth. God shall give us His knowledge. That is our inheritance. I believe we are coming to that “fullness of times” that Paul speaks about.

(Eph 1:10 KJV) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Then we shall be as Daniel and his fellows…..we shall be given His knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom and understanding. We shall commune with the King and stand before Him….we shall see His “face” and rejoice in His presence.

(Dan 1:17 KJV) As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Our Lord comes in His wisdom to build the “house”….as Sheba took note of Solomon.

(1 Ki 10:4 KJV) And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

We shall sit at His table and partake of the “meat” of the Word of Truth. We shall be dressed in fine linen….true righteousness.

5 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.
7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

And happy shall we be who shall stand before Him and hear His wisdom.

8 Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

Our Lord comes to rule as King of kings and Lord of lords…..to do judgment and justice. And we may participate if we hear His voice today. We are to FEAR the King.....the "key" of David....and He will give us knowledge and wisdom....things of Solomon.

9 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

:clap: PROVE US TEN DAYS and look upon our countenance:thumbsup:

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Ever notice they looked upon Stephen and he had the face (or a countenance of an angel)?

I wonder how that connects Wheeler? Too kool! ^_^

Now Im looking, saw that connection immediately and posted without even looking yet (so Im off to look :thumbsup:)

Hi Fireinfolding, yes…..Stephen had the “face of an angel.” The Lord had given him a “mouth” that no one could gainsay….or resist. He was a “messenger” of the Truth. This is all prophetic for this last day in which God opens up the Scriptures to our understanding. “Stephen” means “crown”….it is our “crown of joy” that we are going to be able to speak His wisdom. Let no man take your “crown.”

(Acts 6:10 KJV) And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Note these are “religious” men who oppose Stephen’s message….and so it will also be religious men who will oppose….dispute…. the revealing of the Truth in this last day.

(Acts 6:9 KJV) Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

They will call themselves “Libertines”…. “free men”….yet they will really be “servants of corruption.”

They will be “Alexandrians” which means “defender of man.” They will seek to defend man’s wisdom and knowledge in the face of the True message. What Stephen saw was the Scriptures being opened up…..Jesus who is the Truth standing on the right hand of God. The Scriptures will shine with the glory of God.

(Acts 7:55 KJV) But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

And yet there will be those religious men who will stop their ears from the revealed Truth.

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

There is nothing new under the sun. Religious man has only repeated the past errors of Israel. Like the children of Israel in the desert, many in the church have broken off their “golden earrings” from their “ears” in order to fashion their own doctrines, commandments and traditions of men. They have turned their ears from those who preach the Truth.

(Exo 32:2 KJV) And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

They proclaim that their ways and thoughts…their doctrines….are the way of salvation (“these are thy gods that brought thee out of the land of Egypt” = doctrines and commandments of men that are proclaimed to be your salvation from sin.) Each church has its particular teaching/practice of salvation….each has its own molten calf fashioned with a graving tool….man’s own wisdom. They think they are worshipping God with the works of their own hands….with their doctrines…..just as the children of Israel did so many thousands of years ago.

4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

If we break off our golden “earrings” from our “ears,” then we are not listening to the “wise reprovers.” We have turned our ears from the Truth.

(Prov 25:12 KJV) As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

There is a “season” for everything. And as told to “Timothy,” he was to preach “in season” as well as “out of season.” “Timothy” represents the wise “reprovers” of the past and present. The church has broken off the preaching of the wise reprovers of the past and gone after the “molten calf.” They have not endured sound doctrine….but after their own lusts, heaped to themselves teachers, having itching ears. We have been living in an “out of season” time. But the “in season” is coming…..the season when the Lord returns from heaven to open up the Scripture of Truth.

(2 Tim 4:2 KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

As Moses went up to the mountain to receive the instructions to build the tabernacle, so also has the Lord gone into heaven in order to return with His wisdom and knowledge to build us into a spiritual, living house with spiritual sacrifices. We were to wait upon the Lord as the children of Israel were to wait upon Moses. We were to abide in Christ….in the doctrine of Christ…..to love one another. But men in their impatience have decided to build. Except the Lord build the “house,” the people labor in vain. The Hebrew word for “vain” here means “desolating, evil, destruction, idolatry.” The “building” of religious man is vanity….works of vain glory….which only builds a house divided….a house of contention full of envy, strife and debate.

(Psa 127:1 KJV) A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

But all is according to God’s plan…..He has a season for everything. He has allowed man to work his “six days” of toil. He has allowed man to do his religious works with his own earthly wisdom and knowledge. All of the works of man are done “under the sun.” They are earthly works with the earthly mind. As Solomon preaches to us today, all the “works” that are done “under the sun” is vanity and vexation of Spirit.

(Eccl 1:13 KJV) And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

There is nothing new under the sun. Solomon has done all of the works that religious man only repeats to this day. Except for one difference, Solomon did these things with God’s wisdom present within him. Religious man does them in ignorance of the Truth. Solomon exercise shows us that God’s wisdom is superior to man’s wisdom….for the result of man’s knowledge is works of vanity. Man’s wisdom brings grief to the church…..man’s knowledge increases “sorrow.”

(Eccl 1:18 KJV) For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Solomon, still with God’s wisdom in his heart, gave himself to “wine.” Wine = the wine of Babylon. The wine of Babylon = folly.

(Eccl 2:3 KJV) I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

The “kings of the earth” have gotten rich off drinking the wine of Babylon. They have built great church buildings, large church denominations, large congregations, and great ministries….they made themselves great, “wonderful works” in His name. They are “drunk” with their wonderful works.

4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:

They have made denominational teachings of men….that have lasted many, many years. They wrest the Scriptures in order to build their “pools of water.”

6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:

With their teachings of error, they have gotten “servants and maidens”…..they have large, devoted congregations to their doctrines….to their particular denominations.

7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:

Religious men have gathered “silver and gold”….treasures of kings. They suppose that gain is godliness.

8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

Solomon has already done all this for us and preached to us this lesson….that God’s wisdom is higher than man’s. Solomon did all these things while God’s wisdom remained with him.

9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

Man also rejoices in his “wonderful works” done “under the sun.” But they are really works of vanity and vexation of the Spirit. There is no profit in them.

10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.
11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

....continued from previous post..

.
And as Solomon knew, he was to leave it the man that shall be after him. The “kings” in the church have all repeated Solomon’s works….only without God’s wisdom.

(Eccl 2:18 KJV) Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.
19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have showed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.

There is a season for everything. God has overlooked our ignorant works….but the time is coming to repent of our works. We have ignorantly worshipped Him….our “devotions” are in ignorance of the Truth.

(Acts 17:23 KJV) For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God is not our works…not our church buildings and ministries….He is not our doctrines and commandments.

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

He is not worshiped by the works of our hands….the works done “under the sun.” He made us, we do not make Him. No “graven image.”

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

He has appointed seasons for us….a season to do our “works” (OUT OF SEASON) and a season to repent from our works and seek Him in Spirit and Truth (the IN SEASON.)

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

We are the “offspring of God”…..He is not our offspring…our works of gold and silver which are graven with man’s wisdom.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

We have lived through the appointed season of ignorance, but now God commands all men everywhere to repent.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

As Solomon preaches to us, we are to FEAR God and keep His commandments. We are to bring forth fruits meet for repentance.

(Mat 7:19 KJV) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Our “wonderful works” shall not save us if we stubbornly cling on to them….even though they are done in His name.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Our “wonderful” church works are really works of iniquity. We have had “six days” to work vanity in the wisdom of man, but we must repent of our works and observe His spiritual Sabbath….His appointed Day that we rest from our meaningless toil and rest in Him….in His wisdom and knowledge. We are to do the works of God in the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,ye that work iniquity.

Let us not break off the “golden earrings” from our “ears”….let us listen to the Wise Reprover….our Lord and King Jesus Christ. God will build us into a house...a house upon the rock. What man builds will collapse....in its season.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

He counsels those He loves:

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

If we hear His voice today, we are to OPEN THE DOOR….and He will give us the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven…..the Supper of Truth. We are to FEAR Him when we hear His knowledge and wisdom in this last day. We must not disesteem what we hear with our “ears.” We must not “stop” up our ears when we hear the Truth.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

^_^ Awesome Wheeler! You know... I had just posted the very same verses on those earrings of Gold using the same ones quickened to you on them, Amen I see it brother! Its so amazing how God can teach a thing in the same accord with another in the same way yet neither have spoken to one another on it.

Did you notice when God told Moses "this is a stiffnecked people" (where the earrings of gold are shown being broken off) which are as a wise reprover upon an obedient ear, Stephen says, "Ye stiffnecked, of uncircumcised hearts AND EARS"?

"Turning ears from the truth" or having "itching ears", or "uncircumcised ears" or breaking off their earrings of gold, all expressing the same sort of spiritual truth :thumbsup:

Wonderful post Wheeler, so confirming :thumbsup:
