  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

(Gen 15:16 KJV) But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

For a man’s enemies are of his own household…..and when we leave these houses, brothers, sisters for the revealed Truth, there will come “persecution”…..gossips, evil speaking of those who leave for the Truth of God…..by our own “countrymen.” We receive the Word of God in Truth and not by men….many have received the Word in the wisdom of man. But, in these last days, God reveals His Truth from heaven.

(1 Th 2:13 KJV) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

Again, those that escape from those who live in error will suffer persecution by evil men....by those who are deceived and do not receive the love of the Truth.

(2 Tim 3:12 KJV) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The “tares” will never be able to come to the “knowledge” of the Truth. The Greek word for “knowledge” is once again “epignosis” which indicates the FULL knowledge. They will resist the Truth and all those who receive the love of the Truth.

(2 Tim 3:7 KJV) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

They will think it “strange” that we no longer run with them in their deceptions and lusts….they will speak evil of those who escape from those living in error of the Truth:

1 Peter4: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

And again, many shall follow the tares “pernicious ways”…..and will speak evil of the way of Truth….and those who go in the way of Truth.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

We are to “fear them not” …..the Truth will be revealed and not stay covered….neither will men’s hearts.

(Mat 10:26 KJV) Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And

Well Wheeler, I never ever noticed that the fulness of the amorites before !
and that name meaning prominence it was there, just never saw it before that way! and a sayer , that would be those ''who say'' but do not do as they say

Seems a battle of good and evil is in order and many of the saints in the battle will be overcome
till the Lord Comes with His heavenly hosts / angel army HOLY saintswith him and conquers the enemies that rage and blaspheme the Holy City trampling down ........

This is very interesting here

Amorite
(From Hitchcock's Bible Names) bitter; a rebel; a babbler

Strong's H567 - 'Emoriy
Probably a patronymic from an unused name derived from אָמַר (H559) in the sense of publicity, i.e. prominence
Amorite = "a sayer"
1) one of the peoples of east Canaan and beyond the Jordan, dispossessed by the Israelite incursion from Egypt

Amorites
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary) highlanders, or hillmen, the name given to the descendants of one of the sons of Canaan (Genesis 14:7), called Amurra or Amurri in the Assyrian and Egyptian inscriptions. On the early Babylonian monuments all Syria, including Palestine, is known as "the land of the Amorites." The southern slopes of the mountains of Judea are called the "mount of the Amorites" (Deuteronomy 1:7,19,20). They seem to have originally occupied the land stretching from the heights west of the Dead Sea (Genesis 14:7) to Hebron (13. Comp 13:8; Deuteronomy 3:8; 4:46-48), embracing "all Gilead and all Bashan" (Deuteronomy 3:10), with the Jordan valley on the east of the river (4:49), the land of the "two kings of the Amorites," Sihon and Og (Deuteronomy 31:4; Joshua 2:10; 9:10).
(Gen 15:16 KJV) But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Strong's G1484 - ethnos gentile

Gentiles being all nations outside the Jewish nation it seems here is the strongs definitons multitude, troop , swarm ,

1) a multitude (whether of men or of beasts) associated or living together
a) a company, troop, swarm
2) a multitude of individuals of the same nature or genus
a) the human family
3) a tribe, nation, people group
4) in the OT, foreign nations not worshipping the true God, pagans, Gentiles
5) Paul uses the term for Gentile Christians

the flood Jesus warns those whom build on sand ? and not the Rock =Him

tread down Strong's G3961 - pateō
From a derivative probably of παίω (G3817) (meaning a "path")
1) to tread
a) to trample, crush with the feet
b) to advance by setting foot upon, tread upon: to encounter successfully the greatest perils from the machinations and persecutions with which Satan would fain thwart the preaching of the gospel
c) to tread under foot, trample on, i.e. to treat with insult and contempt: to desecrate the holy city by devastation and outrage
Luk 18:31Then he took [unto him] the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
Luk 18:32For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:And they shall scourge [him], and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

I can now see the same things happening again to the rest of His Body as the Head was first in place
the Lord Jesus first and than those coming after in the same manner

Luk 21:10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:Luk 21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

this has already happend to the Lord Jesus Christ , and this will happen again till His full body is complete
or am I wrong to think this ?Rev 13:7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

this is a bit over my head, actually quiet a bit over

not as sure as some things that have settled

here I looked up the flood of lies or path of lies perhaps ?

Dan 9:26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Dan 11:22And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

this flood being the sea of many nations tongues and peoples gentiles

overflowing blasphemies and lies Strong's G988 - blasphēmia
1) slander, detraction, speech injurious, to another's good name
2) impious and reproachful speech injurious to divine majesty
Mat 24:39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luk 6:48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

well we have to know this , to prepare as did Noah in his day our Ark in In Jesus Christ Word .. faith and trust in Him only .

A comparison study of Solomon and the church of “Ephesus”….which means “first.” Solomon was known for his wisdom and for building the “first” temple. Wisdom is the “first”…principal thing we are to get. “Principal” = first. We are to get the wisdom of God.

(Prov 4:7 KJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The church of Ephesus was known for its wisdom….like Solomon. It was the first church who believed in Christ. If we look at the early church (the church that “was”) it was of one mind. They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship:

(Acts 2:42 KJV) And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

They believed together:

(Acts 2:44 KJV) And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

They were of one mind…. “one accord in the temple”…..they were of “singleness of heart." They had unity.

(Acts 2:46 KJV) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

And to the church of Ephesus in Revelation:

(Rev 2:1 KJV) Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

The early church was known for its works and labor and patience. Solomon was known for his works and labor also.

(Eccl 2:4 KJV) I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:

(Eccl 2:10 KJV) And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.

The early church “tried” those who say they are apostles but were not….they found them as liars. They “tried” them…..like a trial.

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Solomon’s wisdom was first displayed to all by the trial of the two women….to see who was the true mother and who was the liar:

(1 Ki 3:16 KJV) Then came there two women, that were harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.
17 And the one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house.
18 And it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we were together; there was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.
19 And this woman's child died in the night; because she overlaid it.
20 And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.
21 And when I rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when I had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did bear.
22 And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king.

The woman who showed love and mercy for the son was the true. With the outcome of this trial, all Israel saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do judgment.

(1 Ki 3:28 KJV) And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

Likewise, the church was to “try” the spirits to see if they were of God:

(1 John 4:1 KJV) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The false prophets are to be avoided….they are the wide gate of ruin that is entered into if we succumb to their teachings and beliefs. They do not love the flock of God….they do not have pity upon the sheep that they steal from their rightful owner. Their works are devoid of the wisdom of God.

Again, like Solomon, the early church had labored for His name’s sake and had not fainted.

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

But, here comes the problem. As the church got a little older (as Solomon did), they had left their “first love.”

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

The “first love” is God…..the wisdom of God….it is the “principal thing.” We are to love her and she shall keep us….preserve us. They had left their first love who is God…..His wisdom.

(Prov 4:6 KJV) Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

A “crown of glory” shall she deliver to us…..like a king:

9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

The church of Ephesus had fallen though. Solomon did his works and labor with wisdom…. “wisdom remained with me

(Eccl 2:9 KJV) So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

Yet, the church of Ephesus left wisdom and pursued works and labor without wisdom. We are to do the “first works” with wisdom. And as Solomon prophesied, the church would follow in his labors of building and planting and gathering treasure….yet without wisdom:

(Eccl 2:18 KJV) Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me.
19 And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have showed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity.

Again, the sinner is the man without God’s wisdom and knowledge and joy who works to gather and heap up. He heaps up treasures in these last days.

(Eccl 2:26 KJV) For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

The church whose works are motivated by earthly desires (wealth, fame, power) are doing works of iniquity. They cause bitter envying and strife…..it is done in wisdom that is not from above…..it is “earthly, sensual, devilish.”

(James 3:13 KJV) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Where there is envying and strife is every evil work:

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Solomon left his first love also…when Solomon was old. He did not follow God whole heartedly…he loved many “strange” women who turned his heart away from loving and following God whole heartedly when he was old. God was no longer “first” in his life.

(1 Ki 11:1 KJV) But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

The “strange women” represent spiritually doctrines and commandments of men that lead us astray….sheep gone astray away from God….our first love.

2 Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

Solomon went after other gods….and his heart was not perfect. So has the church. David is the example of the heart that stays with the Lord...the Lord comes in kingship of David.

(1 Ki 11:4 KJV) For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

Solomon built high places for all his strange wives….so has the church built the high places (all the works, doctrines and commandments of men) that exalt themselves against the knowledge and wisdom of God.

7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

Solomon had fallen away….and so has the church. The church who has not repented of these things has had the candlestick removed out of its place.

Continuing from previous post....

We see the church has fallen....and the candlestick to be removed:

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

The “candlestick” or lamp stand represents light and unity. The lamp stand was made of ONE piece which symbolizes unity.

As a result of Solomon not following God with all his heart, he was judged. The kingdom would not stay unified under one rule.

(1 Ki 11:11 KJV) Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

The unity of the church has also been removed because of the works of error. The church has been judged of God. Today, we see many different denominations teaching many different things….all in error…without light. The church that “is” today is without unity and knowledge and wisdom…..without the light of the knowledge of God illuminating it. The lamp stand was made of gold. Gold is comparable to wisdom:

(Prov 16:16 KJV) How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

The lamp stand gives light. Light is comparable to wisdom:

(Eccl 2:13 KJV) Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

But the church who overcomes will be given to eat of the tree of life:

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

God’s wisdom and knowledge is the “tree of life” that we may eat of….if we overcome the works of error. We are to remember and repent and do the “first works”….to do God’s works in His wisdom. We are to overcome earthly works that produce envy and strife among the people of God.

(Prov 3:18 KJV) She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

The church that repents and overcomes is the church “to come.” If we read the book of Ephesians in the context of the repentant and overcoming church, we can understand what is written by Paul. In the book of Ephesians, we see the theme of LIGHT, UNITY and WISDOM….the “lamp stand.” A repentant and overcoming church (that hears and does the word of the revealed Truth) will “first” (Ephesus) trust in Christ….in the wisdom, understanding, power, counsel, knowledge of the Spirit of God.

(Eph 1:12 KJV) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

As it says in Ephesians, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ will give the overcoming church the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge (epignosis) of Him. In other words, we may eat of the tree of life….which is the spirit and wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of God.

(Eph 1:17 KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

As a church, we have been “dead” in trespasses and sins….we have walked according to the wisdom of this “world:”

(Eph 2:1 KJV) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

As a church, our works….our behavior…have been motivated by the lusts of our flesh…vain glory of men…of the earthly wisdom of men.

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Though the church of Ephesus has fallen, if we repent, he will raise us up together (in unity) in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

(Eph 2:6 KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

It is the gift of God we are saved through faith and not by our works. Our works as a church will not save us….for they have been works of the flesh….done with the earthly wisdom.

(Eph 2:8 KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The repentant, overcoming church is to keep the UNITY of the Spirit in the bond of peace. The lamp stand is of ONE piece.

(Eph 4:3 KJV) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Rather than building the “high places,” we are to build up (edify) the body of Christ….the temple…with the wisdom of God. Solomon built the first temple. We are to build the temple until we all come in the UNITY of the faith and FULL KNOWLEDGE (epignosis) of the Son of God:

(Eph 4:12 KJV) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

We are to put off the former ways of old, dead religion…the religion built with man’s understanding….the darkness. It is corrupt according to deceitful lusts. We are to put on the “new man”….to be unified in Christ Jesus….as a perfect man…we are members of one of another....in UNITY.

(Eph 4:22 KJV) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

As a church, we were “sometimes darkness”…..because the lamp stand was removed out of its place as a judgment of God upon the church that did not repent from its ways. But the repentant, overcoming church will be LIGHT in the Lord….we will walk (doing God’s works) as children of light:

(Eph 5:8 KJV) For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

We are to have no longer a fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness…done without the wisdom of God:

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

As a church, we have been “asleep” in the dust of the earth…in the wisdom of religious man who only thinks on earthly things. But we are to “arise from the dead” and Christ will give us LIGHT….the lamp stand. The lamp stand will return to its place.

(Eph 5:14 KJV) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Let us be the church of “Ephesus” and be the first to trust in the knowledge and wisdom of God. Our Lord will come with the revealed Truth and we are to receive and do the Truth when we understand His words. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.

wow! this is wonderful , so well thought out ,
Thank God and thank you for your obedience to the Holy Spirit ..........

All I noted after reading this was how Solomon wrote
in proverbs this and now it makes perfect sense !

before I wondeed what this means but the ''first love'' to God , being the'' wife of thy youth''

He wrote Song of songs in His youth and its so much on fire for God
in his middle age the proverbs wise words that the Lord God gave Him and even in his old age wrote Ecclasties
and showing all the vanity of life

wow , wisdom is always of the female gendered , and it never dawned on me before now just why
wisdom being the principle thing...........
Pro 5:18Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
Pro 4:7Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom:

and with all thy getting get understanding. ''principal thing'' is first and
feminine noun

and we have this as a second witness
in Isaiah

copyChkboxOff.gif
Isa 54:6For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,

and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

copyChkboxOff.gif
Mal 2:14Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness

between thee and the wife of thy youth,

against whom thou hast dealt treacherously:

yet [is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

marriage and given in marriage =unity or union with
His doctrine with WISDOM from above

or the man made doctrines /harlots

Paul is speaking of a certain group that are in union / unity with Christ Body

here Gal 4:26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

only want to put all of Mal 2
its awesome and does also fit in here too

third witness

Malachi 2

1And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
2If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart,

to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts,

I will even send a curse upon you,

and I will curse your blessings:

yea, I have cursed them already,

because ye do not lay it to heart.

3Behold, I will corrupt your seed,

and spread dung upon your faces,

even the dung of your solemn feasts;

and one shall take you away with it.

4And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you,

that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

5My covenant was with him of life and peace;

and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me,

and was afraid before my name.

6The law of truth was in his mouth,

and iniquity was not found in his lips:

he walked with me in peace and equity,

and did turn many away from iniquity.

7For the priest's lips should keep knowledge,

and they should seek the law at his mouth:

for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8But ye are departed out of the way;

ye have caused many to stumble at the law;

ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi,

saith the LORD of hosts.

9Therefore have I also made you contemptible

and base before all the people,

according as ye have not kept my ways,
but have been partial in the law.

10Have we not all one father?

hath not one God created us?

why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother,

by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

11Judah hath dealt treacherously,

and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem;

for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved,

and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

12The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this,

the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob,

and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

13And this have ye done again,

covering the altar of the LORD with tears,

with weeping, and with crying out,

insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more,

or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

14Yet ye say, Wherefore?

Because the LORD hath been witness between thee

and the wife of thy youth,

against whom thou hast dealt treacherously:

yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

15And did not he make one?

Yet had he the residue of the spirit.

And wherefore one?

That he might seek a godly seed.

Therefore take heed to your spirit,

and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16For the LORD, the God of Israel,

saith that he hateth putting away:

for one covereth violence with his garment,

saith the LORD of hosts:

therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

17Ye have wearied the LORD with your words.

Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him?

When ye say,

Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD,

and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

this is a serious matter and not taken lightly ,

the fear of the Lord is the begining of Wisdom

chokmah feminine noun Exd 28:3And thou shalt speak unto all

[that are] wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,

that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him,

that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

of the levi priesthood

I thought of the High Priest Jesus speaking from heaven

Hbr 6:20Whither the forerunner is for us entered,

this has never, ever been so plain before now , just so many bits and pieces before now not connecting
God bless you and thank you so much , thank God so much for you

Ecc 9:15Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city;

yet no man remembered that same poor man.

Ecc 9:16 Then said I, Wisdom [is] better than strength:

nevertheless the poor man's wisdom [is] despised,

and his words are not heard.

The words of wise [men are] heard in quiet more than the cry of him

that rules among fools. wisdom is better than weapons of war

but one sinner destroys much good

God has opened the ears to hear what the Spirit is saying as He so chooses .

God bless the poor wise man ! praise GOD for him !

Thank you for opening your mouth and heart

Gods ways are the best and High standard they are not despised by this small servant

who says Glory to God and His power of salvation !

Rev 19:1And after these things

I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying,

Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
Rev 19:5And a voice came out of the throne, saying,

Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

I do fear the Lord and want to be careful
Psa 86:11Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth:

unite my heart to fear thy name.

Wisdom is personified as a woman. In the Greek, “wisdom” is “Sophia”….. a female word. Heavenly wisdom is personified as a wife, mother, and sister in Proverbs. All of the righteous “old testament” matriarchs are representations of heavenly wisdom. Sarah, Rachel, Rebekah, Deborah, etc……all symbolic of heavenly wisdom….it goes much deeper than the surface understanding of them. Proverbs, we see that we are to call wisdom our “sister:”

(Prov 7:4 KJV) Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

As we see, Abraham, Isaac and Solomon did just that…..which shows us we need to look a little closer at the women of the bible.

Abram to Sarai; “thou art my sister:”

(Gen 12:13 KJV) Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

Again, Abraham said that Sarah was his “sister:”

(Gen 20:2 KJV) And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

In fact, Sarah was Abraham’s sister:

(Gen 20:12 KJV) And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

Also, Isaac said Rebekah was his “sister:”

(Gen 26:7 KJV) And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.

The Song of Songs contains a reference to heavenly wisdom…..that she is his sister, his spouse:

(Song 4:12 KJV) A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

Heavenly wisdom is hidden until the appointed time. She is a “spring shut up, a fountain sealed.” She has been a “barren” woman just like Sarah, Rebekah, and Rachel were for a time. “Sarah” ….whose name means “lady, queen”….was barren until she was of an old age.

(Gen 11:30 KJV) But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

Rebekah was barren for a time:

(Gen 25:21 KJV) And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Rachel was barren also for a while:

(Gen 29:31 KJV) And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.

Blessed are the “barren:”

(Luke 23:29 KJV) For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Wisdom is a mother. Heavenly wisdom had a child…..that child is Jesus….the Son of God. Mary also represented heavenly wisdom. Jesus was born of pure wisdom….not one known by man….not of man’s wisdom but God’s….born of a virgin. And as we see in Proverbs, wisdom will be called “blessed:”

(Prov 31:28 KJV) Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

In fact, the angel called Mary “blessed” among women:

(Luke 1:28 KJV) And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Elizabeth also called her blessed:

(Luke 1:42 KJV) And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

All those who will hear heavenly wisdom will be the fruit of her womb…they will be called blessed:

(Prov 8:32 KJV) Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

(Prov 8:34 KJV) Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Mary also said that all generations shall call her “blessed:”

(Luke 1:48 KJV) For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

Heavenly wisdom’s children shall rise up and call her “blessed:”

(Prov 31:28 KJV) Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Heavenly wisdom has been “barren” but she will bare children again…for “more” are her children than the other woman who has had many children….earthly wisdom:

(Isa 54:1 KJV) Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

Mary mentioned her “low estate”….heavenly wisdom has not been heard for 2000 years….she has had not children….she had been termed “forsaken” and “desolate”…. “barren”….she has been hidden from our view….but all this will change:

(Isa 62:4 KJV) Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

She is typified by Rachel who weeps for her children for they are no more.

(Jer 31:15 KJV) Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

But she shall be comforted:

16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

Rachel had Joseph and lost him when his brothers sold him to Egypt. Jesus was crucified by all his brothers. But Rachel knew that she would one day have another child. “Joseph” means “he shall add.” This child will spiritually be the true children of heavenly wisdom. This is what Jesus meant when he told his disciples about him being gone for a little while….and then they would see him again:

(John 16:19 KJV) Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

The woman is heavenly wisdom….that will deliver a child….and our sorrow will turn to joy:

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

The people born of heavenly wisdom will speak plainly of the Father…with the wisdom of God….the people of Christ Jesus:

25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.

Benjamin was the only brother who did not sell Joseph into Egypt…he was the only brother born in Israel. “Benjamin” represents people born of heavenly wisdom. Without this brother, we can not see His face…..just as Joseph indicated:

(Gen 43:3 KJV) And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

(Gen 43:5 KJV) But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

“Benjamin” will be the mouth of the Lord….who will speak plainly of the Father….the children of Rachel…heavenly wisdom. The “silver cup” was found in the “mouth” of Benjamin’s sack:

(Gen 44:2 KJV) And put my cup, the silver cup, in the sack's mouth of the youngest, and his corn money. And he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken.

Benjamin was the “youngest”….the “least”…. A “little one” as his brother called him:

(Gen 44:20 KJV) And we said unto my lord, We have a father, an old man, and a child of his old age, a little one; and his brother is dead, and he alone is left of his mother, and his father loveth him.

Jesus calls the “little child” to him... a prophetic scene….the “little child” is the beloved children of heavenly wisdom. Benjamin was the full brother of Joseph…of the same mother, Rachel.

(Mat 18:1 KJV) At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And whoever receives the words of the “little child” in the Lord’s name, receives Him also:

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

But woe to those who contradict the “little child:”

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

To be continued…

The “seven pillars” that wisdom hewed out:

(Prov 9:1 KJV) Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:

The seven pillars are the mothers of the house of Israel. They are symbolic of God’s heavenly wisdom who has given birth to all of the house of Israel. The first pillar would be EVE….the mother of all living:

(Gen 3:20 KJV) And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Through Eve came the house that God’s wisdom built….the house of Israel….all of the recorded saints of the bible. “Eve” means “life giver.” Wisdom is a tree of life…and all those in the bible are part of that tree.

(Prov 3:18 KJV) She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

The next pillar is SARAH….which means “queen, lady”…..through her came the children of promise….those of the house of Israel. She was a mother to all Israel. We are to listen to wisdom as Abraham was instructed to hear the voice of Sarah:

(Gen 21:12 KJV) And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

We are to listen to the voice of wisdom….who puts forth her voice:

(Prov 8:1 KJV) Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

The next pillar is REBEKAH….who gave birth to two nations….and was a support of the house of Israel:

(Gen 25:21 KJV) And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.
23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

The next 2 pillars are RACHEL and LEAH …..they did “build the house of Israel:”

(Ruth 4:11 KJV) And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

A pillar was set upon her grave:

(Gen 35:19 KJV) And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.
20 And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.

The next pillar is DEBORAH……who called herself a “mother in Israel.” She was a judge and prophetess. She is symbolic of heavenly wisdom and her acts recorded in Judges are prophetic for today.

(Judg 5:7 KJV) The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.

She dwelt under the palm tree.

(Judg 4:5 KJV) And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mountEphraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

The palm tree is symbolic of righteousness…the palm tree is a pillar….the palm tree of Deborah. The children of Israel came up to her for judgment. Wisdom leads in the way of righteousness and in the paths of judgment:

(Prov 8:20 KJV) I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

“Deborah” means “bee”…..honey is comparable to the knowledge of heavenly wisdom:

(Prov 24:13 KJV) My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:
14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

And the last pillar is MARY....the mother of the Lord Jesus. Mary is symbolic of the pure, heavenly wisdom of God:

(Luke 1:31 KJV) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

(Luke 1:42 KJV) And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

Jerusalem is the New Jerusalem from above....the "mother of us all".....heavenly wisdom....God's wisdom. All the matriarchs of the bible are symbolic of that wisdom. It is wise to study and remember their words and actions.

(Gal 4:26 KJV) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise

I agree with this ,
wow ! This is really good Wheeler ! I love how your posts flow and can see the 7 Pillars hewn of Wisdom as the women whom birthed the 12 tribes of Israel
from Eve to Abrahams seed on though Jesus Christ amazing !

44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

I love the fact the ''holy thing' in her womb is the Son of God /Jesus Christ
Luk 1:35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Luk 2:40And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

the Lord was full of the Wisdom from above as a child He shall lead them Jesus is also on the right hand of God / Father

Col 3:1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Mat 12:42The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.
thanks be to Jesus for everything !

WE ask for the Wisdom from Above the Lord will give

Jam 1:5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

I have been studying the last couple of days about the 7 churches in Rev 2 and 3 in Asia in more detail and saw 7 churches Ephesus , Philipi , Colosus. Galacia , Corinth , Thessalonia and Rome in the new testament

Paul and Peter and the others preached and taught them to grow in Truth and grace and in the Knowledge of God and discernment and Wisdom and in the love of God the gifts of the Holy Spirit
to the edifying of the Church the Lords Body

Eph 5:32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

shocking to see what barriers they had to overcome the Judaizers were the force they had to overcome as well as all the horrid pagan knowledge and lies and superstitions statues and things the beatings and trials prisons and wolves in the flocks it has been a good lesson and study .

Gods blessings to you and yours this day
I am so grateful to God , you have no idea just how much this helps and heals
retores and remembers the many good things of the Lord to take to heart
in His peace C

Wisdom of God , knowledge of God and understanding of God
these are ABOVE and through Jesus Christ by no other name can we be saved ..

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

the Head of the corner of the 4 winds of heaven from the East/ rising Sun to the West shall the coming of the Son of Man Mat 24:27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Been looking into the knowldge after the post you made on epignosis
the precise and correct knowledge of the divine

verses the gnosis of earthly wisdom knowledge that science etc that causes stumbling and fairy tales the greeks are most noted for in the philosophy and the falsity that comes from worldly knowledge and the spirit of error

I did find some more in the greek that is strongs G 4907 synesis and its running together a flowing together with understanding this was

found in these two verses most strongly
Eph 3:4Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)Col 1:9For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
also there was g 1492 edion
it is a knowledge to do with eyes of perceiving to discern and know
to be attentive of the mind of the eyes to see

I really love seeing this because it is sort of an awakening to and new way of learning the ways of God with those 7 eyes of the Spirit of God in all the earth

thre was one more noted its strongs G 1097 ginosko means to become aquaintted to know to understand , to become known sort of like realizing for the first time
the verse here most powerful was Acts 17 ;13 Act 17:13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.

this is most exciting to learn these new things in much deeper details

Peace C .

Hi Chickapee

the wisdom from above is the "rock....the wisdom of earthly man is the "sand."

The faith and patience we are to have is for Christ Jesus to come to us with the revealed, full knowledge of God....the rock. He will open the scriptures to us in much the same way he did to his disciples (which means pupils, learners) after his resurrection.

(Luke 24:27 KJV) And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

(Luke 24:32 KJV) And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

(Luke 24:45 KJV) Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Moses came down from the mountain with the writing of God. This writing included the instructions on how to build the tabernacle. Of course, that was the pattern of the heavenly realm…..we look for the Lord also to return with God’s knowledge in order to build the temple of his body. We are the temple of his body that needs to be built by the revelation of God and not by man’s wisdom. We are to become a “perfect man” made in the wisdom and knowledge of God….no longer tossed about like children in the deceptions of man's doctrines As Jesus indicated to Peter, “upon this rock I will build my church..” The “rock” is the revelation of the knowledge by the Father and not what is taught us by flesh and blood in our churches. The building on man’s wisdom is the building on the “sand” which is going to crash soon I believe. What we see of organized religion today is that very building on the sand and not on the rock. The church can only be built with God’s revealed knowledge….He has to reveal it to us. We have only known in part but He will reveal all things to us. “Simon Barjona”….. “Simon” means “hearing” and “Barjona” means “son of Jonah”….. “Jonah” means “dove”….which is symbolic of the Spirit….hence, we get a picture of those who “hear what the Spirit says.” Simon Barjona = all those who hear what the Spirit says…..as compared to hearing the false prophets…..the wisdom of man.

(Mat 16:17 KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

The “gates of hell” is the wisdom of man that will not prevail. Now, the wisdom is not the science or the world outside wisdom that I’m talking about. It is the wisdom of man of the Scriptures….of the churches….that are in error. That is the sand. The “religious” wisdom is what wars against the Truth….and against us. Satan quotes Scripture….but with a literal mind with earthly desires in mind…..such as accumulating wealth in the name of God.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

We have been only been given our daily bread to sustain us until He comes with the full supper…the full Truth. The “marriage supper of the Lamb” is the TRUE SAYINGS of God as compared to the sayings of man (flesh and blood) which we have all heard for the last 2000 years. It is God’s opening up of the Scriptures to a FULL understanding….something we have all not had….but it is coming soon!

(Rev 19:9 KJV) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Again, he stands at the “door”….if we “open the door,” he will come in to us and will “sup with” us and us with him. He feeds us with the full knowledge of the Truth…the True Sayings of God.

(Rev 3:20 KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Again, we are to be waiting for Jesus to come to us with the FULL knowledge…..epignosis…of the Truth of God. We were to wait just like the children of Israel were to wait for Moses to come down from the mountain with God’s knowledge to build the tabernacle. We are to “wait for our Lord:”

(Luke 12:36 KJV) And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Those that wait are the ones to open the door immediately. They are the ones who aren’t drunk with Babylon’s wine and meat…the ones who are busy building and planting churches for their own glory….for their own wealth…with their own understanding. The Lord will make us sit down to “meat”…..the FULL knowledge of God that we were patiently waiting for.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

The teachings of religious, earthly-minded man is the table of “devils.” What they preach (using the bible) is in order to accumulate wealth, power and fame over the sheep of God….this is the subtle mind of Satan….who has stole from us without us realizing it. He uses religion to deceive.

(1 Cor 10:20 KJV) But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

And as we see in verse 24 which explains all of the above…..we are not to seek our own wealth…….we are not to preach in order to gather treasure…riches from those we deceive.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

What we find at the “table of devils” is the “bread of deceit” and “stolen waters.” Many have fallen into the temptation of using the bible without the Truth in order to extract riches from those they deceive with their words.

(Prov 20:17 KJV) Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

(Prov 9:17 KJV) Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

What we find at the “table of devils” is Babylon’s meat and wine…..we are not to defile ourselves with these erroneous teachings of religious, fleshly-minded man…as Daniel showed us:

(Dan 1:8 KJV) But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

Daniel and his friends were tested “ten days” …he ate nothing but “pulse “ and drank water….this represents the “daily bread” and the living water we are to receive from the Lord… and were to abstain from the wine and meat of Babylon….the confusion of the earthly understanding of religious man.

12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

And at the end of “ten days”….Daniel and the others had a “fairer and fatter” countenance than those who ate the portion of the king’s meat.

15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

At the end of this “trial” period of “ten days,” God gave them knowledge, skill and wisdom:

17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Likewise, the church has also been tried for “ten days.” We were to be faithful as Daniel was.

(Rev 2:10 KJV) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Many in the church have fallen into the temptation and drank the wine of Babylon:

(Rev 18:3 KJV) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Our Lord comes with the full knowledge of God……the marriage supper. We have only lived on our daily bread while we wait. We wait for the best meal of our Lord….the Lord’s supper….the TRUE SAYINGS of God.

(Isa 25:6 KJV) And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

This is beautiful Wheeler ,
and so believe it .
thought of this

Eph 1 9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

sounds just like this as well , what we are waiting for our hope is in Him and His glory in the heavens and earth will be fully known

Praise God! rooted and grounded in the Love of Christ Eph 3

8Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

wow the new name in His ! new heavens and earth

16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Oh my, I cannot say anything right now , but Thank you Jesus !

That was a wonderful post full of hope in the Lord Jesus Christ mighty Hand and these scriptures come to mind .

We are waiting in faith for the Lord’s will to be done in earth as it is in heaven. We are waiting for the His kingdom to come…. A kingdom without stumbling blocks….without those who do iniquity in it….without man’s tainted-with-the-flesh garment. We are waiting for our Lord to open up the Scriptures for understanding so that we may know His will and prepare ourselves….to be clothed in white raiment.

(Luke 11:2 KJV) And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

While we wait for this….for His will to be done in the earth, we are to be sustained by our “daily bread.” We were to live after the fruit of the Spirit….love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness, temperance. That is our daily bread that God gives us while we wait patiently for His knowledge to be written on our hearts and minds.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

We are to pray to not be lead into temptation and to deliver us from evil.

4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

The temptation is the same temptation that Jesus experienced. Man has been tempted to turn the “stone” into bread….he has been tempted by the glory of this life….earthly things. Man has turned the silent, stone Scriptures into doctrines and commandments of men by which he has deceived others and have built wonderful works….earthly glories, ministries motivated by vain glory, grand churches, etc. Many have gone through the wide gate of destruction…they have given in to temptation to form doctrines with his own understanding. This is the evil….man’s understanding produces strife and envy among the members of the church….war and strife over who is approved….violence is worn as a garment….a flesh-stained garment. We were to live with the “daily bread” only while we waited for the full meal….the full knowledge of the Scriptures to come from the Lord….. “every word of God.”

(Luke 4:2 KJV) Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

And continuing in Luke, we see after the prayer, the parable of the “three loaves:”

Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

The “three loaves” are the daily bread…..one loaf for each of the “three days” that we have passed until the “resurrection” of the revealed Truth of the bible. We were to live in love for each other….having peace and joy. We were to be satisfied in these things. But religious man was not content with just this….he had to give in to the temptation to interpret the Word of God for himself…which produced works of iniquity. We are to set before our friend love, peace and joy….accepting him as a brother in the Lord. We are not to deceive the brothers with the bread of deceit.

6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

“The door is now shut”…..in other words, the Scriptures had not bee opened yet for understanding.

7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

But the Lord will give us our daily bread if we ask for it….as much that is needed to sustain us:

8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

And then after the parable, we find Jesus casting out a devil…..it was “dumb.” The Scriptures have been silent (dumb) from giving the revealed full knowledge as earthly man has taken it with his own understanding ( a devil) and used it to say what they wanted it to say in order to produce earthly gain….kingdoms of glory. The word “devil” is “daimonion” which ultimately means “to distribute fortunes”…..which the earthly wisdom of the Scriptures aims to do….to enrich men with the earthly glory of this life by the deception of others….masquerading as angels of light. It is an evil spirit. It is the spirit of error that twists the Word of God for earthly gain.

14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.

Christ Jesus will come and cast out the devil so that the Scriptures will speak the revealed Truth…the full knowledge of God. We will know His will and prepare ourselves for Him. The “people wondered”….the “people wondered” also when Jesus opened up the book of Isaiah and read to them. Our Lord will open up all of the Scriptures to us…..He will preach to us (the poor in spirit) the good news of deliverance from the power of darkness that has taken us and captured many of the church…putting many into prison.

(Luke 4:17 KJV) And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

And continuing in Luke 11….

15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

Interestingly, they sought a sign from heaven…..the sign from heaven is the opening up of the Scriptures for understanding….the “dumb” will speak.

16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

The opening up of the Scriptures for understanding is the fig tree that puts out her leaves….the leaves are for the healing of the nations (churches) from its wars and sin. We are to be of one mind and one mouth in Christ.

(Mark 13:28 KJV) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

When “ye shall see these things come to pass, KNOW….”

29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

It is the understanding of these things….when we UNDERSTAND….we KNOW it is at the doors.

Christ will come with the “finger of God” and cast out the “devils”…the distributors of fortunes….he will cast out the moneychangers and those that sell their religious goods out of the temple.

(Luke 11:20 KJV) But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

The two table of the testimony were written with the finger of God:

(Exo 31:18 KJV) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

God will WRITE His knowledge upon our hearts and minds so that we may be built up by Him…..a temple in peace, love, joy, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, good counsel, in power. We, with His full knowledge, will come in the UNITY of faith and knowledge….unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. He has given us of His Spirit to live in love and peace (the daily bread) until He comes with the revealed knowledge (the marriage supper, the Lord’s supper, the true sayings of God)….and He will WRITE His revealed knowledge into our hearts and minds when He comes …..with the finger of God….so that we may finally come together in unity…something never experienced except for the very early church.

(Eph 4:13 KJV) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We are waiting to sing the NEW SONG….not the tired old religious sayings of men. We are waiting for the best, aged wine to drink of the Lord…..and not the wine of Babylon.

(Mat 26:29 KJV) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

They sang “an hymn” went out into the mount of Olives:

30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

That was a prophetic scene for when we will sing a NEW SONG (“an hymn") upon the spiritual mount Zion (mount of Olives) with the Lamb…..the full, revealed Truth of God. He is the Truth, the Way and the Life….there is no other!

(Rev 14:1 KJV) And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mountSion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Amen!! Great posting Wheeler , If we be lifting up / exautling the Head Jesus Christ and ''His Body''

the True Church ..,as Peter was given the same measure of Faith from God that Jesus is the Son of God

not from flesh and blood . but the Holy Spirit the same holy oil and fire that Lights our hearts that we can see Him , Jesus .........

Jhn 12:32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.

the elected /chosen of God .2Ti 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes,

that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

how can we be sure of making this calling and election sure ...
2 Peter 1

1Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained

like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,

through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:

that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,

having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither

be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath

forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:

for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the
everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things,

though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up

by putting you in remembrance; 14Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle,

even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

things that are blessed and above what an amazing thing to look into and examine with care !
we see the warnings and the promises at the same time , they are there for us now in this '' present truth ''

to take a hold of and believe obey !
Colossians 3

1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ

sitteth on the right hand of God.
2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

He will lift Himself up!
4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness,

inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

the list of lust of the world that defiles the blood red covering , the garment of shame as bad as the nakedness
of being exposed Isa 30:1Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel,

but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit,

that they may add sin to sin:

That walk to go down into Egypt,

and have not asked at my mouth;

to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh,
and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame,
and the trust in the shadow of Egypt [your] confusion.

8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:

but Christ is all, and in all.
12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness,

humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:

even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,

to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing

one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. !!!

17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

giving thanks to the Lord and thanking Him for everything ...all things the Lord shows us How by

His Holy Spitit and His Holy Word , It is to be handled with care and considered sacred and pure and

so glorious this world is not worthy of it . those that are the called out of the world this world

lies in wickness are His .

Noted that Jesus said to His disciples / students under His wings

as a Hen would gather its chicks Mat 23:37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!

they were under His protection and safe keeping being cleansed

and when Jesus told them they were every whit whole because of the WORD SPOKEN to them / Word Spoken by the Holy Spirit

Jesus never spoke His own words only what the Father/ Wisdom told Him to speak

but their feet was not clean , this example given by Him and serving them , was to wash one anothers feet
the word feet means two things to conquer and to teach instruct

this is so important in the works by Jesus given to us to learn and conquer the lies and filth of the fleshly wisdomand wickeness the world lies in

the towel Jesus was girded with has importance too

Jhn 13:5After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe [them] with the towel wherewith he was girded.

Peter being the '' little rock '' given the gift of Faith by the Father did not understand what Jesus was doing what it meant but would in the time appointed to have part in the same things of Jesus Christ

6Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

9Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

10Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
11For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
12So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
15For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
18I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
19Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 20Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

we are to shod our feet with the gospel of peace the true covering is Jesus Christ , His teachings and Words that brings , His peace , not as the world gives and go out and spread the news of the gospel to the ends of the earth and than the end / Jesus Christ will come
Act 13:47For so hath the Lord commanded us, [saying], I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. Mat 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hbr 3:14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Hebrews is an awesome testimony of Jesus Christ and the new covenant and promises revealed

1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.

......... blessings from on High .

when the Spirit blows so are those are born of God

1 John 5Jhn 3:8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Peter was the example for the the ''rock soild'' revelation of one reciving/ born of the Truth in the Spirit of God that Jesus Christ is the Son of God

Mat 16:17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Zec 4:3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof.

copyChkboxOff.gif
Zec 4:11Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon the left [side] thereof?

copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 11:4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 1:12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 1:13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 1:20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 2:1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 11:4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

keepeth himself

A comparison study on the church in Philadelphia….Benjamin the brother of Joseph…..John the beloved disciple…..Paul.

The church in “Philadelphia” represents the church who love each other….who live in peace. “Philadelphia” means “brotherly love”….they had kept His word ….the word of patience. They have not been tempted to take the Word of God and twist it with their own interpretations in order to gain worldly things. God has protected this church for the last 2000 years from the temptation that came upon many in the churches. The church in Philadelphia is loved by the Lord...they may be the “churchless” sitting at home….they may be those who silently sit in the back pews of every church….having sorrow about all the unrighteous words and deeds that they see before their very eyes. But they keep the faith…the word of patience…knowing that God is coming to change all of these things.

(Rev 3:7 KJV) And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

They have had “little strength”….they have been powerless to do anything about what they have witnessed. They have not denied the Lord with their works…they abide in His love and patience. They have faith that the Lord will come in strength and power and knowledge…..He will give to the church who is waiting and watching an open mouth….an “open door”….a mouth that speaks the revealed Truth of God. The key of knowledge that ushers in the throne of David.

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

They have been kept from the “hour of temptation” that has come upon all of the church. The Lord has protected them. The Lord has loved the church in Philadelphia as much as Joseph loved Benjamin who was his full brother of the same mother, Rachel. The Lord has loved the church in Philadelphia in much the same way Jesus loved the “beloved disciple.” They are all connected. Benjamin – John – the church in Philadelphia are all connected by love.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

The church in Philadelphia has been and is protected from the hour of temptation….the evil day that has come upon all of the church. As the blessing of Moses indicated, “Benjamin”…the “beloved of the Lord” (the beloved disciple,) shall dwell in safety by him…..covered all the day long. Benjamin who is the “beloved of the Lord” = John the beloved disciple = the church in Philadelphia (brotherly love.)

(Deu 33:12 KJV) And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

As it was said of Benjamin…. “he shall dwell between his shoulders”……the beloved disciple also did lie on Jesus’ breast…which is a prophetic picture of the protection of the church who loves God and each other and keeps the word of patience. The patience that the Lord will come from heaven with His wisdom….the patience that the children of Israel should have had as they waited for Moses to come down off the mount with the instructions on how to build the tabernacle.

(John 13:25 KJV) He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

Again, the beloved disciple leaned upon the breast of Jesus at supper (between his shoulders.)

(John 21:20 KJV) Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

And we see the protection of the church predicted here through the beloved disciple….that they would “tarry till I come”…that they would be kept alive (entering through the narrow gate) while the rest of the church (which I liken to Peter’s death) would be dressed by others who would not care for them and led them where they did not want to go. Those that would enter through the wide gate of ruin….being led astray by false prophets are the ones who have suffered like the death of Peter….spiritually speaking.

22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

They are the “few” who have entered into life in the past 2000 years…the narrow gate.

23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

Again, Benjamin was the brother of Joseph by the same mother, Rachel. And in the gospel of John, we see at the cross, Jesus saying to his mother…. “behold thy son” and to John the beloved disciple, “behold thy mother.”

(John 19:26 KJV) When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

And he took his mother to his own home…..which was a prophecy of the church of brotherly love who has kept the heavenly wisdom of God (who is a mother to us all)…to love God and to love one another…they have kept the word of patience in their “homes” and have been protected from the hour of temptation.

27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

The church is to hold fast what they have….the wisdom of God….and let no man take their crown.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

This is a reference to King Saul (who was of the tribe Benjamin) who was not patient and who spared the King of Amalek and the best of the sheep, oxen, fatlings and lambs…and all that was good of Amalek. Samuel had instructed him to destroy all of the things of Amalek. He lost his crown….his ruler ship for such things. The man, King Agag, took his crown so to speak.

(1 Sam 15:9 KJV) But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

And continuing in Revelation, we see the church in Philadelphia that overcomes will be given the revealed knowledge of the Truth of God.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

There are similarities between what Joseph received in Egypt from Pharaoh and what the overcoming church in Philadelphia will receive from the Lord. The Lord says He will write upon those of the church His “new name.” As we see, Joseph also was given a new name by Pharaoh…. “Zaphnath-paaneah” which means “revealer of secrets”….those of the church who overcome will become the “revealer of secrets” of the bible…..the hidden knowledge will be given to them….the Light of the knowledge of God….with the open mouth of the Lord….the door is opened.

(Gen 41:45 KJV) And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

We see the holy city, New Jerusalem, which is the heavenly wisdom of God….descending out of heaven from God to us. The overcoming church will have the name of God and the city of God written upon them. Looking back to Joesph in Egypt, Pharaoh gave Joseph Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On as a wife. “Asenath” is a veiled reference to New Jerusalem which is heavenly wisdom…which is the light of the knowledge of God. “Asenath” means “she belongs to her father, gift of the sun god.” It is the Father in heaven who sends New Jerusalem (His wisdom) who is the city of the Light of God as a bride adorned for her husband…..just as Joseph was given “Asenath” for a wife.

(Rev 21:2 KJV) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

“Potipherah” signifies belonging to the sun….. a veiled reference to the Light of God….who is the “Father of lights”….who gives the gift of wisdom and knowledge to us. Potipherah was a priest of “On.” “On” means “city of the sun or city of the pillar.” Again, “On” is another reference to the true Light and that the overcoming church would be a pillar in the temple of God in the city of New Jerusalem. All things Joseph received from Pharaoh are all veiled references to the Light of the knowledge of God that the overcoming church would receive as a gift from the Father of lights.

(James 1:17 KJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Holy Jerusalem….heavenly wisdom…descends out of heaven from God…the Father of lights.

(Rev 21:10 KJV) And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Her light was like unto a “jasper stone:”

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

The jasper stone is the stone that represents the tribe of Benjamin. “Jasper” means “he has a mouth”….the church in Philadelphia would be given an open door…an open mouth to reveal the hidden mysteries of the knowledge of God….the Light from above. Paul whose name means “little” is also of the tribe of Benjamin. It is through his gospel that the church can overcome….it is through Paul’s writings that the Lord uses to establish us as a pillar in the temple of God….so that we may have the revelation of the mystery that has been kept secret.

(Rom 16:25 KJV) Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Paul’s writings will be opened (with the preaching of Jesus Christ) up to us for a complete understanding so that we may know how to be washed from our sins (that were committed as a church)…to overcome…. and be able to worship Him in Spirit and Truth….rather than with religious man’s knowledge. A “great door” will be opened up for Paul’s writings to be understood.

(1 Cor 16:9 KJV) For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

“Timotheus” or Timothy was a faithful helper to Paul 2000 years ago…a colleague of Paul…a son in the faith. But the “Timothy” of today is the overcoming church who preaches Jesus Christ in a new understanding (new song) of Paul’s writings and the rest of the Scriptures. This is written especially for the church today ….and “Timothy” is code for those who speak the revelation of the mysteries of the hidden knowledge of God.

10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

Once again, we see in Ephesians, that Paul hopes and prays that “utterance may be given” to him…that he may open his mouth boldly to make known the “mystery of the gospel.” There is a mystery of the gospel yet to be disclosed.

(Eph 6:19 KJV) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

And here again, “Tychicus,” is another veiled reference to the overcoming church today who will make known to us all things…who will make known to us the hidden mysteries of the Scriptures. A “new name” = a revealer of secrets….to reveal the Light of God…the knowledge of God…the wisdom of God. Titus, Timothy, Tychicus are all veiled references to the end-of-this age overcoming church in Philadelphia who will open up their mouths and preach the revelation of Jesus Christ through Paul and the whole bible.

21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

Got to study this last post of yours before saying anything

been looking into some things
I would like you to look over this for me ,its a mess ......

and if you see anything out of line please let me know , much appreciated
what do you think of the new names given by the Lord and their significance ?

Jacob to Israel
Saul to Paul

' Simon to Peter

I wonder of This ? Isa 62:2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness,

and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Rev 2:17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].

the Lords Holy Name and could this be the name of new Jerusalem written in the white stone ?

Rev 3:12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God,

and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God,

[which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God:

and [I will write upon him] my new name.

there is a name the Lord names called Antipas

Rev 2:13I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, [even] where Satan's seat [is]:

and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein

Antipas [was] my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Stephen was the only account written of this type of martyrdom

yet the name Antipas is not specific as the Lord calls this one a faithful witness / martyr

though all the apostles died a violent death at the hands of sinners Like Jesus also had .

pergamos means '' height; elevation '' satans seat is there and dwells there satan meaning adversary
(one who opposes another in purpose or act)

12And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

13I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:

and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith,

even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr,

who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold

the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel,

to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly,

and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,

and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written,

which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

more on Stephen
Stephen = "crowned"
1) one of the seven deacons in Jerusalem and the first Christian martyr
acts 6 ;9Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called [the synagogue] of the Libertines,

and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

Jam 1:12Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried,

he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

copyChkboxOff.gif
Rev 2:10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death,

and I will give thee a crown of life. 11He that hath an ear,

let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that
overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death

know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and

I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not,

but are the synagogue of Satan.

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer . . . be thou faithful unto death,

and I will give thee a crown of life. . . .

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan,

which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;

behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet,

and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 2:9-10, 3:9 6

. again the feet Strong's G4228 - pous means two things 1) a foot, both of men or beast
a) often in the orient, one put his foot on vanquished[to conquer and subdue

to defeat in any contest or conflict; be victorious over] overcome or overpower
b) of disciples listening to their teacher's instruction are said to be at his feet..

39To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them,

and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
40Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses,

which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
41And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol,

and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
42Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven;

as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel,

have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
43Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch,

and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them:
and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
44Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed,

speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
45Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into

the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers,

unto the days of David;
46Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47But Solomon built him an house.
48Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me?

saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50Hath not my hand made all these things?
51Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost:

as your fathers did, so do ye.
52Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they

have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have

been now the betrayers and murderers:
53Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart,

and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven,

and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
57Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
58And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses

laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
59And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord,

lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Acts 8

1And Saul was consenting unto his death.

And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem;

and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and

women committed them to prison. 4Therefore they that were scattered abroad went

every where preaching the word.

14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;

These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;

and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment,

that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;

and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,

and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,

even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,

but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been

partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Matthew 23:27-33.

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me:

for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself,

but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth,

because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth,

why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words:

ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. John 8:39-47.

About those Libertines Strong's G3032 - Libertinos 1) one who has been liberated from slavery,

a freedman, or the son of a freed man
2) Libertine, denotes Jews (according to Philo) who had been made
captives of the Romans under Pompey but were afterwards set free;

and who although they had fixed their abode in Rome, had built at their own expense a synagogue at Jerusalem

which they frequented when in that city, The name Libertines adhered to them

to distinguish them from free born Jews who had subsequently taken up

their residence at Rome. Evidence seems to have been discovered of the

existence of a "synagogue of the Libertines" at Pompeii.

synagogue of satan / adverary ?

Philo and Plato were the philosophers of the Roman and Greek Gnostic creeds in the religions of the east

especially those of the Persian and India roots , the idol worship was vast in heresies and false religions Gnosticism
Christianity was new and not well received in the masses

Act 11:26And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch.

And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church,

and taught much people. And'' the disciples were called Christians'' first in Antioch.

the rest of it , it was to long for one post ..

Glad your back Wheeler
good to see your posting again

I love how you connect the scritptures ,

I was wondering about all this , I am not very good at summaries

but love to study them
Antioch = 'driven against"or

Antioch
(From Hitchcock's Bible Names) speedy as a chariot
1) Capital of Syria, situated on the river Orontes, founded by Seleucus Nicanor in 300 B.C. and named in honour of his father, Antiochus. Many Greek-Jews lived there and it was here that the followers of Christ were first called Christians.
2) A city in Pisidia on the borders Phrygia, founded by Seleucus Nicanor. Under the Romans it became a "colonia" and was also called Caesarea
Antipas

means “against all,” Antipas was either a unknown martyr, or a representation of all of the faithful Christians who were willing to stand 'against all', as the name means, may be against Satan/ adversary like Stephen whom
spoke bodly of the gospel , but did not lay it to their charge ....

Gen 49 from Jacob / Israel

Joseph [is] a fruitful bough, [even] a fruitful bough by a well; [whose] branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot [at him], and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

[Even] by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

Gen 49:26The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

I do see this as a type of Christ !! I had forgotten
thnks for reminding me !

Deut 33 Moses wrote ;

12And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. 17His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

this is the prophecies of the Coming of Jesus Christ ........wow

11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

A “great door” will be opened up for Paul’s writings to be understood.
wow thanks Wheeler , never check into any of this before .

Have on the Jasper Stone
but none of the other things
much appreciated .. blessings ..... C
