Secret: Everybody has self esteem issues at some point.

Fact #1: I've never had even a hint of self-esteem issues. I credit my parents for that.

If I'm eating multiple things at once (like a steak, potatoes and rice) I don't like my food to touch. If it touches it doesn't get eaten. There are a few exceptions of food mixing but not many. It's better to err on the side of caution.

I don't know where it orginated from but it's the mixing of flavours and textures that bother me. Like I said there are a select few things I'll mix up (and I can't think of any off the top of my head) but for the most part, I like everything perfectly seperate. My 16 year old son is the same way.

Not very much, no. I do like pie, but mostly for the pastry, and I prefer fruit fillings to anything else. And likewise, my favorite cakes have fruit toppings instead of icing.
