CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unni has such a servant's heart! I love her meals! She keeps us well fed and Dawn 'mommy-s' us. I feel happy and content here. Oh, and I have to laugh at the lasso that TW has!

your kids protest hugs too?? My daughter is funny about that...she wants them..you know she does...then when you go to hug her..she 'fights'..NO NO...LOL....cracks me up! Of course my son, who is 16 1/2 is too 'macho' for hugs..but if I wrestle with him, I throw in a couple 'bear hug' moves...LOL...he is happy. BUT man oh man,do I pay!!

I'm a hugger. I hug my kids, my grands, some of the women who come into work. Sometimes people just need a physical touch. That's my mini sermon for today. Touch - don't leave home without it!
