CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hiya dear Dawn, it sounds delicious what you're serving today. Let me bring with me some sandwiches with ham & Italian salad and some slices of pepperoni pizza for those who like that. Maybe we could have a potluck breakfast!

It's a quarter of two p.m. here, and a pepperoni pizza is in the oven. It is lunch time here now. Was out today, had a haircut, and I also bought a few nice things. So this far I have not been in my jammies today, lol. I think I need to look a bit presentable today for a few reasons.

Didn't we have a ''semi date night '' yesterday, as I made a real good dinner, and hubby and I and the cat enjoyed each others' company? My daughter was out most of the evening, so it was peaceful here.

We have date night twice a week! Made my stepdaughters (22 and 24) angry enough to move out, wanting privacy and all. We cramped their style.....
