The Misspelled E-Mail

It's wise to remember how easily email -- this wonderful technology -- can be misused, sometimes unintentionally, with serious consequences.

Consider the case of the Illinois man who left the snow-filled streets of Chicago for a vacation in Florida.

His wife was on a business trip and was planning to meet him there the next day. When he reached his hotel, he decided to send his wife a quick email.
Unfortunately, when typing her address, he missed one letter, and his note was directed instead to an elderly preacher's wife whose husband had passed away only the day before.

When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint.
At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:
Dearest Wife, Just got checked in. Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow. P.S. Sure is hot down here.

Lucky you. It was in the high 80's here but the humidity had to be 100%.

Yeah we don't much like humidity and anything over 79 here either. Fortunately being on the prairies, the humidity doesn't stay high long. When I used to live in Central Canada on the great lakes, it was 100% humidity constantly. Yech! That with the heat, mosquitos, black flies and deer flies could make for a very miserable person.

I don't like bugs that bite me. It turns me into a murderer...heehee. We suffer through high humidity most all the time here. I was in Texas last summer and was surprised how dry it was. My lips always needed balm and my skin dried out (or maybe that's just my age ;))

nah, it's definately the dry air. We get that here on occasion too. Though we certainly aren't as hot or dry as Texas. I'd rather a dry hot day than a humid one though any day. It's like the air is thicker too and it's harder to breath and even walk.

The air was thick today. So thick it looked foggy. It rained tonight so maybe it won't be as humid tomorrow. Humidity doesn't do wonders for you hair.

I wouldn't know, what little I have left is usually short cropped. ^_^

But it'll definately take the curl outta the locks if you have them allright!
