Why did we have to dissect frogs? Have you used that knowledge in real life? Some things...

Isn't it obvious? Dead frogs are cool. Unfortunately, I never got to dissect a frog.

What I can't figure out is history. Who cares what year some dead guy was born or what he did hundreds of years ago?

Yep, I was so mean!!! When the kids were little (and the step daughters came during the summers) they called me Sgt Mom!!!

I pulled my daughters out of school and homeschooled them. They thought it would be a piece of cake. They were in for a rude awakening. My younger daughter said to me "This is just like a military academy!" That was the official opening of the Mesue Military Academy For Girls. The teacher/nurse/assistant principal has since retired and they're back in public school.
I was very hated back then. And then I was hated for putting them back into school. I can't win.

I ate at Bob Evans for late lunch/early dinner with Mom and Meghan this afternoon. Yummy omelet with salsa and sour cream

Bob Evans? We don't have that here. I took my mom to Olive Garden the other day! It's not often I can treat her! It felt good that I could!

I'm going to take Mom to Olive Garden for Mother's day. The friends she hangs out with don't like it but I love it sooooo...win/win.

Good morning, everybody. How are you all this fine morning? We're having a heat wave. It went up to 50F yesterday and will probably get that high again today. Summer seems to be coming early this year.

ha, yeah, a heat wave at 50!?! IT has been that here for a few days..mid 50's. Supposed to go up to the 60's today! I HOPE so. I want to go and soak up the sun! LOVE it.

I am hoping it stays cool enough,with no LIQUID sunshine for a few days, so I can get my lawn mowed before I head to SC next week!! Have I mentioned that my daughter is graduating from Basic training in 8 days?

WOW. Seems like she just started. I am sure she doesn't feel that way! Congrats on her graduating! Neat you can go and see her do that! What an honor and privelege!
