  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Love Industrial (like I said in the other thread). EBM/Industrial Dance, Industrial Rock and Metal, Goth-Industrial, even some of the original stuff from Throbbing Gristle and Einstürzende Neubauten.

Following with the Rammstein focus, my favorite songs would be:
"Sonne"
"Sehnsucht"
"Engel"
"Rosenrot"

I quite like some industrial. From your list I prefer Zeromancer, Razed in Black and Ramstein in that order. I really wasn’t keen on Imperative reaction. (Actually I’ve just sold off my IR CD). I would have to add unhelig to the list, and second Ministry.

Hmm, actually that reminds me I’ve not played any Zeromancer at Charnel House for a while. I may trot some out next Saturday.

Have you heard any Dream Disciples? I think you may like their work.

i love a lot of industrial/alt/electronic music, basically stuff thats not commercial and grabs the attention! sometimes listening to music is better than an [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] so i hope its ok to say that.........

Rammstein was basically my gateway band into metal in 8th grade (them and Metallica). I loved the mix of the heavy music with the deep baritone vocals. That's rare in any form of music, the lead singer having a lower voice. One would think it would be more prevalent in metal of all genres, but it's sadly not the case.

I'm like Du Hast (of course), Kokain, Leichzeit, Altern Mann, Seeman, a lot of their older stuff. Most of their new stuff isn't as good in my opinion, but they have a few notable good songs on their two newest albums. I think they peaked on Mutter, it'll be tough for them to top that album.
