We will probably have new bodies and they will be clothed in Light. Male and Female. I would say yes, just because God made Adam and Eve and their whole purpose pre-fall was to create heaven on earth. Earth was in the very likeness of heaven.
Anyone think about marriage in heaven???
Luke 20 says no
My thought is this though. If we get a new body, will we retain our soul? If we don't retain our soul, then life on earth and God's purpose for us is in vain. If we have our spirit only, our spirit is made one with christ through his blood. We are Gods children through Christs redemption.
So then, why would there not be marriage or male and female in heaven?
By the way everyone, Adam and Eve never did have a marriage ceremony and a reception. God brought Eve to Adam and She was perfect for him. That was it, God brought her and they both knew She was created for him. That is the picture of the first marriage.(prefall) I do not know the first marriage as described in the bible through the hand of man in its sinful nature.(post fall) Does anyone?
