How do you think Daniel got by?
Tough questions! Don't worry, I predict this will be glossed over, no real answer given. Happens every time I mention Daniel, Babylon, or any other times of captivity. Get used to it ;)

Now now JohnD... I've pointed out many times that Judaism doesn't consider the rest of "scripture" to be uninspired. No, Judaism considers that all of the inspired texts are of varying levels of inspiration. The Torah being the highest as it was directly communicated by the mouth of G-d. The Prophets, then the Writings, then the Halachic revelations, and so on.

I was, for a long time, looking for a rabbi to mentor me. I could never find one, even among the christian Rabbis that taught and believed in Jesus. Why, do you think?

Jewish rabbis would not generally have an interest in teaching non-Jews
as they have limited time and need to spend it working with Jews.

Christian educators may also have time constraints and may not be
able to do one on one teaching. Have you tried to find classes with
them that you can sign up for?

This is very possible. Have you sought out the deacons, elders or other members in leadership positions and see if they offer classes or discipleship? Many times a Rabbi or a Pastor will be over the congregation and have so many duties that they can't take on one other thing. They're out and about and visiting with the sick, the poor, the needy (in other means), counselling and also preparing for the feasts and every service that they offer. Not to mention any issues of halacha... and their own families. I can't imagine.

You might want to ask again after attending for a while

I'm curious... have you really met an antimissionary? Or do you consider all those who believe differently than you to be an antimissionary?

And grass is green. I see you've met JohnD. :)

Well considering that kivi aka emeshalom is proud to call himself an anti missionary and although I have never met him in person I guess you could say I've met at least his cyber persona here.
And yes when I am in Israel I have met eye to eye those who are card carrying anti missionaries. Scary people really.
Are you an anti missionary now? There is more to it than just aligning yourself with the non messianic Jews you know.
