CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I didn't have a great day today- I didn't sleep well last night and I feel ill again, (I think it's stress about leaving home) and I had to put my little sisters to bed and they were really hyperactive and difficult 
. But I have good days and bad days, so hopefully tomorrow will be better. How are you doing?

I'm doing well... yesterday I had birthday, and today I've spent most of the time home alone.... listening to music, reading, posting on CF, and trying to learn how to draw, sort of

Well, it was actually two days ago now. I got some nice presents... books, money, and a new backpack. And the birthday was fun! We had a chocolate birthday cake.

I've been packing my stuff for going away. Well, trying to, anyway. I own about 300 books and I've limited myself to taking 20, which makes things quite difficult.

Hello, finally! I couldn't talk earlier, it took ages to get everything set up. I've brought a book by Spike Milligan-don't know if you've ever heard of him- but he cheers me up. And a book on learning Dutch

It's not really about anything, in particular- it's got loads of short stories and scripts and other comedy things. Poems, too.

My entire week has been really busy- I've moved to university now so I've been looking around the city and joining clubs and all sorts. Generally it's been good- I've been a bit homesick but nowhere near as bad as I thought I'd be. And the food is edible too.

I suppose I enjoy living here. My room isn't very good, but it looks better now I've decorated. I joined the archery club and the Catholic club.
