I've read that book! :) It was good, but kind of confusing at times :)

Have you read any books by Neil Gaiman? I started reading "Neverwhere" by him recently, and that book is very interesting... it's really weird, but good! :) I'm not sure how to describe it.... It's very... surreal ^_^

Oooh, I've never heard of that author- I'll have to look him up.

What kind of pizza do you like my friend?

I only like margherita-I'm a bit limited because I don't eat meat, but I've tried other veggie pizzas and they're just not the same:cry:

He's really good... I want to read more books by him, because "Neverwhere" was very good. :) Today I started reading another book, "Mister Monday" by Garth Nix... it's weird, but it seems that it's going to be good as well :)

Ahh, I've heard of Garth Nix. My brother's read a couple of his books. Are you enjoying it so far?
I read The Time Traveller's Wife-it's quite popular over here. I quite liked it :)
what would you do with a million?
Argh, that's a difficult question. I'd do so many things! I'd give a lot of it to various charities- famine relief, homelessness on a local level, children's charities, possibly the RSPCA as well. Then I'd save quite a lot to help pay off the Student Debt of Death, and also to finance doing a postgraduate course in Translation Studies, and possibly use more of it to learn lots of languages. All very sensible, I think:)

All very sensible, I think ( yes almost scary) lol mike. :)

Yes... I finished reading it recently, and I enjoyed it a lot :) I want to read the other book in the series now! You should try to read something by him too... for example, the Old Kingdom trilogy... the books are titled Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen. Maybe you'd like it. It's quite confusing at the beginning, but later in the book everything becomes clear... And each book of the trilogy is better than the previous one! :)

I haven't read that, but the title is interesting... What is that book about? :)

The book was quite strange- it was about a man who had a genetic disease which meant that he didn't live his life in the right order, but kept jumping into the past and the future. It's quite hard to explain, and I didn't really understand!

Any Easter weekend plans for you?

It was my birthday over Easter, so we went to a restaurant :)

I thought I had already replied... but it seems I didn't!

Sounds like a strange, but interesting book... :) But I think Neverwhere was even stranger ;) Yesterday the 8 books I'd bought in amazon.co.uk arrived... Now I have a lot to read :) And I'm already planning what to buy there next time!

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? :)

8 books! Wow, that's exciting. I love it when new books arrive and you don't know which one to read first!
My weekend was good, thanks. I visited my grandparents and then did a lot of packing for going back to university, where I am now. Was yours good too?

Yes, I have that problem too... when I have many books, I can never decide which one to read first :)

I'm glad it was good... mine was good too :) I had to do a lot of homework, though. And also it took some time do to some stuff in the garden, and help my dad set up a new satellite dish, which eventually didn't work anyway so we had to switch back to the old one. But I still had time to do things for fun... reading, listening to music, and spending time online.

Do you have classes tomorrow? What classes do you generally have at the university? :)

Ooh, a satellite dish. Do you have lots of channels now? I've only got 4
I have about 5 hours of Dutch, and 6/7 hours of German each week, but hardly any philosophy- maybe a couple of hours per week. And I get Fridays off, which is really good, because I can sleep all day!

What kind of restaurant did you go too?

We all went to an Italian restaurant. I really love Italian food, it's quite good if you're a vegetarian as there's usually a good range of food avaliable.

What song are you listening to now?

I'm not listening to a song, but I'm watching TV. It's the adverts at the moment though.

Well, we already had a satellite dish before, but we have a new one now... it's bigger, so it should have better quality :)

Sounds like you learn a lot about languages! I have philosophy around 3 hours a week. Do you have more?

You're lucky! I had Fridays off last term, it was really cool :) But this term I only have one lecture on Friday mornings and then I go home, so it's also quite good. :)
