A lot of ppl do like to go with a friend to the parlor, for some encouragement and support.Which one is better for someone, to have the tattoo done on their own or have someone to come with them?

So did you usually go on your own, so far?
Yes, I think that the taking someone with you to the parlor, thing, probably applies mostly to ppl having it done for the first or second time.Yes, I've gone on my own so far as I'm used to the pain.
It's your 'prove you are a tough woman' moment, I guess.Im not taking anyone. I dont feel the need to & Hubby gets squiffy around needles & blood so hes sure not volunteering
From whatever perspective - for or against - it's a good question, isn't it?Wonder why some who are against tattoos have pierced ears.
tickingclocker:I almost didn't read this thread about tattoos...

LOL, I guess my comment related to what you said about your dh and needles...LOL, nope, dont need to prove anything. Its just a tattoo.. not a tough mudder(which id also like to do just for funzies)
Some ppl really don't like the interior of tattoo parlors, do they?Hubby gets squiffy around needles & blood so hes sure not volunteering
Oh okay! so he's quite positive about the enhancement potentials for you, offered by a parlor, then?LOL, dont think tattoo parlors is his issue (Hes quite happy for me to get one) This is the guy that went to visit a friend (years ago) in hospital & passed out when the nurse went to give his friend a shot.....
Well, this at least must be some sort of relief for you...Hes not bothered by me getting a tattoo...
Mmm.. one of my criteria for getting a tattoo was that my husband wouldn't have any issues with it.. which he doesn't.. if it bothered him for any reason then I would have chosen not to get one. No matter how much I would like to.
