I am not complaining I am simply stating a fact, do you think the questions are reasonable questions to ask?
Well...I...um...

Okay, you might have a point -- :)

Forgive me but these questions are pathetic.

And exactly what difference would it make to the Theory of Evolution if the answer to each and every pathetic question was 'dunno'

.

No difference at all!

As you say no difference at all, I was just thinking that the chap who asked these questions had been duped into believing that he had valid arguments when he patently didn't.

Quick few misconceptions.

Humans are apes, and yes we evolved from other apes, and further down the line monkey's, not modern species, but the animal that modern apes and us, and further down the line the animal that monkey's and us converged with would have yes been called a monkey or ape. This is a common confusion, but should be careful not to dismiss a statement outright.

I have a very hard time accepting that anyone's mind has been changed by reading those idiotic statements.

Uhhh your a idiot, my mind has been completly changed....were not evolving, were devolving and the OP"s post is proof of this *giggles* :>

You will note the OP poster still has only 3 posts on the board. To any creationists who wonder why they get a harsh response when they join up and post a cut and paste PRATT (Points Refuted a Thousand Times) list, it is mostly because of post and run characters like this one.

This comic is insulting to fish, lemurs, chimps, australopithicines, and clowns, suggesting that the Kansas board of education is equally or more evolved than they are.
just as long as we only are referencing the school boards and not other parts of kansas here!^_^

I think that's more of a Neaderthal or Cro-Magnon than Austral. :p

how does the mark twain quotation go? something like "God made the trilobite, the eurypterid, the cinch bug and the possum, and when he'd had plenty of practice making idiots he invented the school board."

Did anyone ever answer this one?
3 - If humans are animals, why don't we act like it?
Shouldn't Klebold and Harris be perfect examples?

Yeah, I seem to remember something about Prozac, video games, parents who never saw it coming and pent up anger against self righteous pious types.

My mom thought it would be a good idea to send me to a christian school, and in some ways it was.

Two unintended results tho. One was that I am immediately hostile toward anyone with a British accent. Unreasonable as i know it is, but my experience with snotty superior British expat kids was what set it up.
Anyway, its just a quick flash of hostility then I get over it. I am an adult now after all.

The other result was I learned about pious self righteous people! After a while, I just refused to go back to that school.

The day one of the teachers offered the opinion that British colonizing was to the natives' own good, as it brought them out of pagan superstition and into the light of god was the day I realized i just was not going to take it anymore.

Don't hate us all! I, with a thick Bristolian accent, am genetically predisposed to hate the posh accent too :preach:

Unless she was saying that was the colonists opinion, I think that's an appalling view, especially from a teacher. Boo hiss boo.

In other words, 'glorified apes'?

I think he was talking about jocks.

If you went to Columbine, you wore a white ball cap as a symbol of being athletic.

That's why Klebold and Harris ordered: "all white-caps stand up!"
