I didn't want my first thread to be like this, but I've seen some others like it so I thought I would start one.

I've changed a lot of peoples minds on this, so I found it necessary.

1 - What would be the purpose of a half wing?
2 - What evidence do you have for the TRex being a meat eater? Don't say because of it's teeth. This is like finding the bones of a tall man and assuming he was a basketball player!
3 - If humans are animals, why don't we act like it?
4 - If the appendix is 'vestigial', why is it part of the digestive system?
5 - If we share a common ancestor with apes, how do they have two more chromosomes than we do. YES WE DO! Look it up yourselves. I've never gotten ANY explanation for this.
6 - ALL dead organisms leave behind dead bodies. So why do evolutionist claim that we only have like 100 transitional forms?
7 - Why don't Monkey's have babies today?
8 - Why have so many humans claimed to have seen dinosaurs in the congo and Lockness?

Evolution requires faith.

I can't wait to see some of the struggling responses to this.:)
I've seen the videos you copied these 'questions' from. Very amusing to watch.

Don't hate us all! I, with a thick Bristolian accent, am genetically predisposed to hate the posh accent too :preach:

Unless she was saying that was the colonists opinion, I think that's an appalling view, especially from a teacher. Boo hiss boo.

Oh gosh no I dont hate them all, or any of them now. Its just a thing left over from when I was a kid. Im a big fan of the Queen, i even got to see her one time! its just that I hated those snotty expat kids who thought they were so much better than us.

My mom's version of what the British did in china would not really correspond with what the teacher said.

She attended Univ of Edinburgh, btw and is a big anglophile.

Questions for Creationists that they cannot answer:

Why are humans and chimpanzees more closely related than rats and mice?

Why are crocodiles more closely related to birds than lizards?

If you reject evolutionary relationships based on genetic analysis do you also reject genetic analysis for parental testing?

Why are humans and chimpanzees more closely related than rats and mice?
So we could see what we looked like if we weren't a trichotomy?

1Ki 10:22 For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
Why are crocodiles more closely related to birds than lizards?
So the two could enjoy a symbiotic relationship?

No.

What, like golden peacocks with ivory tusks? Can´t look worse than crocoducks.
I didn't mean physically -- I mean so we could see what we would be like* if we weren't a trichotomy.

* We'd be like animals.

I'm sure you did.
1 - What would be the purpose of a half wing?
Ask a flying squirrel.

2 - What evidence do you have for the TRex being a meat eater?
Its teeth and body.

Don't say because of it's teeth. This is like finding the bones of a tall man and assuming he was a basketball player!
No, it's not.

3 - If humans are animals, why don't we act like it?
You mean eat, cra-p, and die? I'd say we do.
4 - If the appendix is 'vestigial', why is it part of the digestive system?
You might want to check the real definition of vestigial. Hint: It doesn't mean what you think it means - you have only part of the definition.

5 - If we share a common ancestor with apes, how do they have two more chromosomes than we do. YES WE DO! Look it up yourselves. I've never gotten ANY explanation for this.
No they don't. we have those chromosomes, they're simply fused together. In fact, those chromosomes are amongst the strongest pieces of evidence that support the fact that we share that common ancestor.

6 - ALL dead organisms leave behind dead bodies. So why do evolutionist claim that we only have like 100 transitional forms?
They don't. Every form is "transitional".
7 - Why don't Monkey's have babies today?
Your mom had you.

8 - Why have so many humans claimed to have seen dinosaurs in the congo and Lockness?
Because people lie. Because people see things.

Evolution requires faith.
No, it requires (and has) evidence. No faith needed.
I can't wait to see some of the struggling responses to this.:)
Not a struggle in the least. Took all of two minutes.

I think you are talking to a vacuum. This character had three posts when he posted the nonsense in the OP and he still has three posts. Looks like he bravely ran away away.

Evolution requires faith.

I can't wait to see some of the struggling responses to this.:)

1. Gliding. Whatever advantage, no matter how small, will help with competition and avoid predation.
2. Because of its teeth. The shape of the teeth is down to its diet. Learn about it.
3. We do.
4. Vestigial does not mean functionless. It just means it doesn't perform the primary and original function. The specific complexity of the appendix indicates a function that it does not perform.
5. Because chromosomes can split and duplicate in species.
6. We have more than 100 fossil forms. Also, fossilization is an extremely rare occurance. Evolutionary chance also tends to occur in relatively small populations during relatively short geologic periords of time. Read about it.
7. ... They do.
8. People lie. People also claim that God told them to kill people etc.

Wow. All that list does is demonstrate your complete lack of understanding of evolution and science.

I guess this chap is what you would call a REAL creationist, a person you would be proud to know and call a friend.

It's not a conscious action by either animal, the female is just doing her rat things, and the male rat is just doing his rat things. Neither comprehends the intricacies of pheromones or reproduction- they just know what feels and what smells good and their bodies do other things beyond their control.
Sorry for playing necromancer with this. End of final year = crazy. :nooo:

Now that I have my degree and had my sleep, I'm kind of back...

Anyway, you are of course right, and it was very poor wording on my part. What I meant was whose adaptation caused the phenomenon. Did the mutation(s) happen on the female side to minimise damage from infanticide (darn teleological language, it always finds a way to creep in...), or did the stimuli the males provided change in a way that they induced abortion by activating a pre-existing mechanism in females?

Then again, it's probably more complicated than either. After all, two evolving parties are involved...
