But if they are sinning how are they atoning.
They can't atone. Nobody can. That's why Jesus had to go to the cross.
Hating a group and actively showing/spreading it is not really helping them on their way to sin free life (which i am making theassumption is what a lot of Christians try and strive for, correct me if i'm wrong, though i'm sure you will lol), seems a bit contracdictory.
Remember what I said about one's actions being compatible with the teachings of Christ?
In the bible i have got there was a lot of preamble, with prayers and how to be a good Christian which i read. It did give some advice some advice along the lines of of what Fr Anthony said. Also i believe it said to read particular parts on certain days of the year. Gave that ago, didnt get it and of what was going on because it did started off in the middle. So i did the sensible thing and tried to read it from the begginning. No success however because i lack the fine art of concentration as you have probably noticed, which is why i wanted to know how a person with such as short attention span could read it.
That does sound a little convoluted.
I would suggest that you set aside maybe twenty minutes a night that you can sit down and read one chapter of the book of Romans.
Two questions i have to ask, first one is i remember reading somewhere that there are extra versus of the bible or something like that and Christains accept but protestants do not. More than likely i have just imagined it but is this true?
Actually, Protestants are Christians. So are Baptists.
