The flood and creation actually were believed by all holy men of God, including God Himself in the flesh. Collins should have maybe stuck to milking cows or something!

On the other hand, there are tons of reasonable christians that you can have an adult conversation with. In the end, we will probably part without agreeing on religion, but at least I won't leave the conversation wondering about their grip on reality.

You gotta wonder at these commercials for some pill forged in a lab nowadays -- commercials that spend 75% of their time warning you about the consequences you may experience if you take it, than what good it does you.

I told my wife it just makes me want to run to the phone and order some synthetic cure for something I've got.

I like the comedian who said he has headaches, so he takes X to alleviate his headaches and it gives him diarrhea, so he takes Y to alleviate his diarrhea but it causes vomiting, so he takes Z to alleviate his vomiting and it gives him headaches. Now he's hooked in a vicious cycle forever.
