"I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, and no man comes to the Father but by me." John 14:6

You have quoted John 14:6 out of context. You should always check the context of the verses. For the context of John 14:6 go to John 14:1 onwards where Jesus says In my Fathers house a various mansions, many mansions are there. If it were no so I would not have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And you know where I am going, and you know the way. Thomas asked him Lord we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way? So Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me.

I agree with that statement – Jesus was the way the truth and the life no one came to god but by him. But during his time. Every messenger in his time was the way the truth and the light. At the time of Moses, he Moses, was the way the truth and the life. At the time of Abraham, he Abraham, was the way the truth and the life and so on with all the messengers in their time.

The context is if you are following me you are following God. If you continue reading John it says… but we have not seen God so Jesus says he that has seen me has seen God. Meaning if you follow my commandment you are following the commandments of God. John 14: 1 gives the context - Jesus doesn’t say in MY house are many mansions he says in My fathers house are many mansions. He is not talking about himself he is talking about god. If you follow the example of Jesus you are following god. Thomas had misunderstood and was thinking of a geographical location (way) but the way was not geographical the way was following the example of Jesus. And jesus' example was not to worship him as God and in his second coming he will deny those who worship him - Matthew 7:22

Please prove that Mohammed doesn’t make this claim? He is the way the truth and the life. Since he supersedes all previous messengers – he is now the only way, truth, life.

What does begotten mean?

If Jesus is god then does that mean Adam is a greater God? since he had no father and no mother and was not in a woman’s womb for nine months and then born of child birth

Did Jesus rise from the dead on the third day? Read the bible Jesus did not fulfil the sign of Jonah. Check Mathhew 12: 30-40. The son of man was not 3 days and three nights in the heart of the earth…. Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night. So jesus was two nights and one day in the heart of the earth not three days and three nights. This proves that jesus was not crucified since Jonah was Alive in the belly of the whale and jesus said like jonah was three days and three nights so shall I….

No, moses never claimed to be the truth and light. all the people you mention before Jesus just said to follow God.. They never claimed to be the Way. Jesus is the only one who said He is the Way, the Truth and Life. I did not take it out of context, because He was asked how to get to heaven and Jesus answered. Begotten means born. Adam was created from dust. Jesus was born of a womb from Mary who had not been intimate with a man. I did not say three days and three nights. I said the third day. Matthew 27 shows 2 specific days Jesus was buried. Mark 16 says the day before the Sabbath Jesus was buried. Mark 28 says it was after the sabbath. The sabbath was not originally on Sunday see
http://www.sabbathtruth.com/sabbath_changed.asp
and it does not seem Jesus said 72 hours.. yet he was buried for 2 days and even on the third day for part of the day, when he rose:
http://www.letusreason.org/Doct10.htm

Jesus did fulfill the prophecy by this..The third day. If it was 3 full 24-hours Paul would have said after the third day or more precisely the fourth day. Paul is not preaching another gospel nor taking liberty in interpreting the event, he is speaking according to the Scripture and the facts. Jesus never said he would rise on the fourth day..

Your claims do not prove anything that you are using to contradict the Bible. The Bible does say Jesus was crucified, and they checked by the spear in his side to make sure he was dead. Jonah did not bleed to death before before being confined to a small space. Jesus bled to death. Jesus did not say he will be alive for three days.. he said he will be buried for three days..

Matthew 12:
The Sign of Jonah

38Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, "Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you." 39He answered, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one[e] greater than Jonah is here. 42The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.
43"When an evil[f] spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."
I have Muslim friends, who have concurred that a Muslim does not have guaranteed salvation, but instead must strive to be good in their lifetime. There are many people proclaiming so-called "truths" even today. By your logic, they are greater than Mohammed. However, here is as Jesus said about future prophets:

Matthew 7:
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

Matthew 24: 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 13:21At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ[a]!' or, 'Look, there he is!' do not believe it. 22For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. 23So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

Also Jesus' apostles foretold this as well:
2 Peter 2: 1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
1 John 4

Test the Spirits

1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Jesus showed John information after His resurrection on Patmos about false prophets:

Revelation 16:
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[a] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Revelation 19: 20And the beast was seized, and with him the (D)false prophet who (E)performed the signs (F)in his presence, by which he (G)deceived those who had received the (H)mark of the beast and those who (I)worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the (J)lake of (K)fire which burns with brimstone. 21And the rest were killed with the sword which (L)came from the mouth of Him who (M)sat on the horse, and (N)all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Jesus warns against adding to that prophecy:

Revelation:22:18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
20 He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!”
Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

These verses together foretell many that will "prophecy" and contradict the words of Jesus.. Mohammed is one such person. Also by saying his words supercede the Bible he adds to and removes from Revelation..

Mohammed tells you that your salvation is guaranteed, but Jesus says if you follow Him it is... So do you want salvation, or do you want to wander and wonder following the words of one who were foretold by Jesus and His apostles as false?

Christians do wait for the Lord, but not for the sake of escaping unbelievers..but he will take His true followers and all for judgement, and He will battle against the Beast..

Revelation 19: 11I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great."
19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[c] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.[d] 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Well, what do you mean that the christians you knew only wanted to triumph? I'm a christian spiritually first and intellectually second because of the overwhelming evidence there is of the Bible compared to all books that exist in this world. As a start Evidence that Demands A Verdict by Josh McDowell (it would stand up in a court of law) and Examine the Evidence by Muncaster(a former athiest). Also- concerning science and belief. The Bible could only be written by God as one of its characteristics include having hundreds of detailed prophesies that has been fulfilled and more to come. quote]

Bible has not stood the test of time.

The bible talks about the creation of the universe in Genesis chapter 1 that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and talks about a morning and an evening – referring to a 24 hour day. Today science tells us the universe cannot be created in 6 days with 24 hour period.

In Genesis 1: 3-5 it says that light was created on the first day:
But in Genesis 1: 14-19 it says the cause of light (stars and sun) was created on the fourth day
I am asking the question how can the cause of light be created on the fourth day later than the light that came into existence in the first day??? This is unscientific! Is God unscientific?

Further the bible says in genesis 1: 9-13 that the earth was created on the third day. I am asking the question how can you have a night and a day without the earth? The day depends upon the rotation of the earth. Without the earth created how can you have night and day? Didn’t the God of the bible know this? This is unscientific.

Bible says in Genesis 1: 9-13 the earth was created on the third day and in Genesis 1: 14-19 it says sun and the moon was created on the fourth day. Today science tells us that earth is part of the parent body of the sun, it cannot come into existence before the sun. didn’t the God of the bible know this? This is unscientific.

Bible says in Genesis 1: 11-13 that vegetation was created on the third day and in Genesis 1: 14-19 it says the sun was created on the fourth day. How can vegetation come into existence without sun light? And how can they survive without sun light?

Bible says in Genesis 1:16-17 that God created two lights, the greater light the Sun to rule the day and the lesser light the moon to rule the night and that they both give light to the earth indicating that both the sun and the moon have their own lights. This is in contradiction with established modern science since it is know that the moon does not have its own light but rather it reflects the suns light.

In the Bible it says in the Book of Hebrews 1: 10-11 and the Book of Psalam 102: 25-26 that God created the heavens and the earth and they will perish. The exact opposite of this is said in the book of Ecclesiates 1:4 and the book of Psalam 78:69 that the earth will abide forever. I am asking the question which of the pair verses are correct? Can the God of the bible make such mistakes? Will the earth perish or wont it?

Regarding the hevens the bible says in the Book of Job 26:11 that the pillars of heaven will tremble. The bible says in the Book of Samuel 2:8 and in the Book of Job 9:6 and in the Book of Psalam 75:3 that even the earth has pillars. Where are these pillars of the heavens? Cant you see there are no pillars! Where are the earths pillars? Cant you see there are no pillars!

The bible says in Genesis 1:29 that Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;
Today even a layman know that there are several poisonous plants like wildberries, plants containing alkaloids etc that if you ingest, if you eat – there are high possibilities that you will die. I am asking the questions how is it that the God of the bible doesn’t know that if you have these plants that you will die?

what about all the prophesies that have not come true?

Moses and every other prophet did make that claim what else would be the purpose of their prophet hood. They all told their people if you want to enter heaven then listen to what I have say and follow my way. When a school teachers prepare their pupils for exams they say listen to what I have to say, learn what I say and you will pass your exam. All this is the same as saying way, truth, life.

What does begotten mean?
What was the sign of Jonah? What was the miracle of Jonah?
Read again what you have written about jesus/jonah it shows that the prophecy was not fulfilled.
Don’t listen to what muslims say – read the scriptures for yourself – your friends must have forgot to mention the articles of sincerity to you

So who are the examples of true spirits/prophets after the time of Jesus?

Bible has not stood the test of time.

The bible talks about the creation of the universe in Genesis chapter 1 that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and talks about a morning and an evening – referring to a 24 hour day. Today science tells us the universe cannot be created in 6 days with 24 hour period.
that statement in itself is illogical. God is not a man, therefore God's power and abilities are beyond the comprehension of man. Therefore the scientists that make this assumption are wrong. It is a fact that not all scientists hold the same opinion.

Is God unscientific?
faith is unscientific.. however, it is said in Genesis 1:5 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

it says the light was called day. It is said that God Himself is so glorious that to look upon Him with human eyes can be blinding.

Acts 9: 3 As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”
5 “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked.
And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! 6 Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
7 The men with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one! 8 Saul picked himself up off the ground, but when he opened his eyes he was blind.

Therefore the first source of light could very well have been God Himself.

Further the bible says in genesis 1: 9-13 that the earth was created on the third day. I am asking the question how can you have a night and a day without the earth? The day depends upon the rotation of the earth. Without the earth created how can you have night and day? Didn’t the God of the bible know this? This is unscientific.
Because God existed before the earth. This is how day and night can exist. Because existence exists, day can exist without the earth.

This is unscientific.
science also used to say the earth is flat. That if we sailed to the edge, we would fall off. The earth changed because of Adam and Eve's sin. see Genesis 3. God created full grown trees in those six days, and science cannot explain that. therefore, the earth could have existed before the sun, and gravity would have not been dependent on the sun prior to the sun. If we want a ball of dirt, it will not hold together itself, yet if we hold the dirt in our hands or in a container, it is still together. Thus God held the earth together until He added the sun.

Bible says in Genesis 1: 11-13 that vegetation was created on the third day and in Genesis 1: 14-19 it says the sun was created on the fourth day. How can vegetation come into existence without sun light? And how can they survive without sun light?
the vegetation was created fully developed and was kept alive until God added the sun to nourish it.

Bible says in Genesis 1:16-17 that God created two lights, the greater light the Sun to rule the day and the lesser light the moon to rule the night and that they both give light to the earth indicating that both the sun and the moon have their own lights. This is in contradiction with established modern science since it is know that the moon does not have its own light but rather it reflects the suns light.
not necessarily. These were created the same time and the moon reflecting the sun is why we see any of the light at night. Without the moon, the light of the sun would not be seen as we see it at night.

Will the earth perish or wont it?
the earth will abide until God decides to destroy what it is and make it anew.

Revelation 21:
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." 5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Cant you see there are no pillars!
how can you see the pillars of heaven if you are not in heaven? This is redundant. this itself is a logical fallacy to say that "heaven does not have pillars because I do not see them, though I have not been to heaven."

This is like saying another country does not exist because we have not been to it.

The bible says in Genesis 1:29 that Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;
Today even a layman know that there are several poisonous plants like wildberries, plants containing alkaloids etc that if you ingest, if you eat – there are high possibilities that you will die. I am asking the questions how is it that the God of the bible doesn’t know that if you have these plants that you will die?

Genesis 3:

17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,'
"Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat of it
all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
what about all the prophesies that have not come true?
God has a timeline clearly in the Bible. What about the prophecies that have come true?

 1. Predicted ca. 855 BC: The prophet Elijah predicts Jezebel would be eaten by dogs upon her death in Jezreel. (1 Kings 21:23)– Fulfilled ca. 841 BC: Jezebel is killed in Jezreel and dogs eat her body (2 Kings 9:36).
 2. Predicted ca. 760 BC: Amos predicts Israel would be restored as a nation and would never be uprooted again (Amos 9:15)–Fulfilled in 1948.
 3. Predicted ca 732 BC: Isaiah predicts the Medo-Persian empire will conquer Babylon (Isaiah 13:17-1

 4. Predicted ca. 732 BC: Isaiah says Egypt and Ethiopia would be conquered by Assyria (Isaiah 20:3-5).–Fulfilled ca. 673-670 BC when Assyria conquers the northeast African nations.
 5. Predicted ca. 701 BC: Isaiah claims Israel will be taken captive by the Babylonian empire (Isaiah 39).–Fulfilled ca. 597 & 586 BC: Babylon takes captives and sacks Jerusalem the first time then totally destroys Jerusalem about 10 years later.
 6. Predicted ca. 589 BC: Ezekiel tells about the destruction of the great city Tyre (Ezekiel 27).–Fulfilled in 1291: Muslims destroy the city.
 7. Predicted ca. 543 BC: Daniel tells of a great Grecian king who would conquer the Persian empire but would have his kingdom divided four ways after his death (Daniel 8).–Fulfilled in 330 BC when Alexander the Great defeats Persia and 281 BC after the Greek generals who succeed Alexander reach an agreement after years of war to split the kingdom four ways.
 8. Predicted ca. 536 BC: Daniel prophesies that the Greek empire would not go to Alexander the Great’s heirs (Daniel 11).–Fulfilled ca. 323-281 BC after Alexander’s death when his generals fight over the kingdom while shutting out (and killing) his heirs.
 9. Predicted ca. 430 BC: Malachi prophesies that Yahweh’s name would be honored by the Gentiles (pagans) (Malachi 1:11).–Fulfilled 1st century AD to the present: Pagans worldwide have forsaken their paganism and have confessed that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
 10. Predicted ca. 30 AD: Jesus tells his disciples that they will be persecuted and hated by the majority of the people on the earth because they follow him (Matthew 24:9).–Fulfilled 1st century AD to the present: Ever since the gospel of Jesus Christ has been preached, millions of true Christians worldwide have been mistreated or killed for the faith.

I believe I answered many of these questions. Begotten simply is born. what i wrote shows fulfillment, otherwise I would not have written it. I have read the scriptures and seen the proof. when one does not want to see something, they are in denial of its existence. the answer is before you, yet you choose not to see it. i shall pray for you. Telling somebody to follow instruction is not claiming to be the way, truth and life. teachers do not say "study and you will find God" they say, "study and you may pass the test and succeed." this claim that it is the same is another logical fallacy. It is as perhaps reducto ad absurdum or tautology.

Dear obscure 101. You had some very good replies, and although mine is slightly different, the endresult will always be the same. Jesus is our Saviour, He died, that we might live, He vanquished Satan on Golgotha, He took the sting out of Death, He reconciled us to God, and He is waiting to lead us back to our original home with God. Jesus gave us 2 Commandments, which contain all 10 Commandments, God gave us. 1) Love God with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our minds. ( That is straightforward, and God made us in His image, and He deserves all love and loyalty) 2)Love each other, as you love yourselves. ( That means in plain language, SAY and DO to ALL Others, as you would like others say, and do to us.) Jesus wants us to REPENT, to exchange our selfish and uncaring characters, into selflessly loving and caring with hearts and hands, characters. That is very hard in this imperfect world, where we are surrounded day and night, to all sorts of temptations. We have been given years to become better and better, we have Jesus`s promise to help and guide us, and we know, when we fall short and need God`s Forgiveness, we ask sincerely to be forgiven again, and again. We will find that our changed lives will become easier and easier, and we will have the Love, Joy and Peace, which Jesus has promised us. I say this humbly and with love, obscure 101, and send greetings. Emmy, sister in Christ.

Is Jesus your potential? Meaning is it your goal to become like Him?

Or are Christians waiting for the "final days"? When their Messiah will come and take them home, away from all those who do not believe like them?

I am not here to argue. Only curious as I never really understood what Christians are about or why there are so many denominations. Is there an underlying commonality between all the different churches?

p.s. I once believed in Jesus, but I left the faith because the Christians I knew, had only a desire for triumph. At the moment, I would say I am a very beginning Buddhist.
If you once believed in Jesus why do you ask what christians are about as if you have no clue?

If you once believed in Jesus it would have meant that you admitted you were a sinner and you laid your life down before the cross. Did you decide you really werent a sinner after all? Did you decide that you really didnt meet Christ? What was it like to become unborn?

Jesus indeed defeated sin at the cross. Do you think thats a bad thing and that sin is a good one?

There are tons of different denominations because man is flesh and in his flesh he trys to add to Gods word his own spin on things.

The rest of your 'question' is much too broad - can you be more specific?

Hi obscure 101, you wrote you believed in Jesus and then you left the faith. It shows you didn't have enough teaching or study of the Word. Jesus is the Son of God (Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son ...) and is the Son of man (Lk 1:31....bring forth a Son and shall call His name Jesus.) Need to know that Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved -Jn 3:17 When Jesus was on this earth He went about all Galilee and all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sicknesses and all kinds of diseases among the people.- Matt 4:23 ; 9:35. Jesus didn't come to condemn but to save and to seek the lost-Lk 19:10 God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for us. (In Rom 5:8 - God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.We have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins(Col 1:14) Moreover Jesus is alive Matt 28:7 " Go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead.." Jesus said in Jn 6:40 ..everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him shall have everlasting life. When you believe and have faith in Him you will live and have everlasting life. We look to Jesus and not to man. you left the faith because of the Christians ... Jesus didn't leave Judas Iscariot knowing that he was to betray Him. Yet He ate the passover meal with all His disciples including Judas. Being a christian need to grow to maturity.First we drink milk then solid food - 1 Pet 2:2 as newborn babes desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow thereby.Pray that you may read the bible again and attend a church to study the Word. Pray that you may come back to Jesus and know His love and care for you. Jesus loves you

What is Christianity is all about?

It's about these facts:
1) God created people. Adam and Eve (first people) disobeyed God/ sinned and became separated from God and his presence because of their sin.
2) God sent Jesus Christ (his Son) to die for people's sins.
3) Now, the "good news" is: if you believe in Jesus Christ and God, and accept Him as your Lord and Master and give him your heart, God will apply Jesus death on the cross to your soul, cleanse you from your sin, indwell you (we are not separated from God anymore) AND
4) God promised to give people in number 3, eternal life.
5) The rest of the world will be condemned because this is judgement for the sin. And only way to escape the judgement, is to accept Jesus as Lord and believe in Him.

So this is what Christianity is all about. But, meanwhile we are still on earth, God IS transforming us into the image of Christ. We are growing from day to day and becoming better, more like Jesus. God DOES want us to do good deeds as well.
At the end, there will be many Christians who were NOT REAL Christians and Jesus will tell them: "away from me, you evil doers. I never knew you." So therefore, we must be careful and read God's word to make sure we are on the right path to salvation.
