The separating of conjoined twins is very complex with many, many, MRI's, X-rays, all sorts of tests to make sure, as far as it is humanly possible, that both survive. Except or the 2-headed baby somewhere in the middle east not too long ago. That baby had 2 heads on one body--both heads showed different personalities--both were going to die unless one head was removed. There was not much choice as to which one. They removed the one head and saved the other child. Don't know what happened after that to the surviving child.--the operation was successful, though.
One of the disciples was a physician--medicine is a gift from God--how do you know that the surgery is not within God's plan to ease the suffering of these people?? Jesus healed the blind, the lame, the leper--fed the hungry, at times, a whole village would be healed--and afterwards the disciples did the same thing, including raising the dead. What makes you think they shouldn't have done those things?--wasn't it God's plan for those people to be blind and lame and dead?? God uses what is available--like doctors and drugs and medical equipment--is it your believe that all dialysis patients should be allowed to die and not have either the dialysis or the transplants? There were dialysis patients that lived for over 35 years on dialysis--there are babies, including newborns on dialysis--should thy all die because you think it's God's will??
