"The hole in the ozone that we could not repair" ? Do you know that science is progressing and not degrading? We do not have the technology or science to step foot on mars either.. yet.. But I do believe we will in the future.. All this "global warming" and "2012, the end of the world" nonsense is just being fed to us by a bunch of locos that can't back it up with solid evidence.. saying that it is not going to happen isn't negging science..

Global warming isn't comparable to 2012 end of the world. One is based on science and the other is a random myth.

1) If god loves humans so much, don't you think one.. atleast one out of the millions of people in heaven would've requested to god to come visit his/her family down on earth?

So God's love is dependent on the actions of others?

2) Can you? (YES OR NO) give me solid, scientific (Not the bible) evidence why christianity is true, and Islam, Hinduism, and the countless other religions are false?

How do you show scientific evidence for a philosophical question?

Would you settle for forensic evidence?

3) The trinity doesn't make sense to me.. I know, not all sects of christianity don't believe in the trinity...

Actually, the Trinity is a defining doctrine of Christianity. If you reject the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity then you are, by definition, not a Christian.

And no, this is not the "no true Scotsman falacy" because the NTSF is based on subjective and personal standards, while this is based on an objective and authoritative definition.

Why the three forms? Why not just 1?

Why not?

I know the holy spirit is the one who reveals itself to us humans, jesus died long ago, and the father is the creator, but why not just be 1 and do all these things?

If you believe that Jesus died and was not raised, then that should answer your question right there.

then you should also tell me why I shouldn't believe science, which is obviously more reliable than god..

You mean the same "science" that once believed that people could be healed by attaching leeches to their body to draw out "humors"? Or the science which, as recently as the turn of the twentieth century, believed there were only a few hundred stars in the sky? Science is fine, but it is constantly having to revise itself.

Disclaimer: As Christians we aren't exactly in agreement on what being born again means. So if you're going to describe it you may preface it by saying that you are presenting your understanding based on your theological tradition and reading of Scripture; particularly when Catholics, Orthodox, Lutherans, Anglicans and many others, I'm wagering, understand being born again as our common Baptism.

-CryptoLutheran

The phrase "born again" literally means "born from above." Trusting in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is what it means to be "born again" spiritually. 1 Peter 1:23: "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God." Being born again means that God, through His grace and mercy, gives eternal life to all those who believe (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1-4, 18).

John 1:12-13: "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God."

This passage teaches that being born again means to become a child of God, through faith in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Titus 3:5: "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit."

Ephesians 1:7: "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace."

1 Corinthians 1:30: "It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption."

2 Corinthians 5:21: "God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God."

Romans 5:1-2: "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God."

Isaiah 64:6: "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away."

The Bible is very clear that there is nothing we can do ourselves to be saved or to merit our own salvation.

And with all that said, I would also like to point out that our salvation doesn't depend on our feelings either.

Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Our salvation depends solely on God, because of His love, grace and mercy toward us.

Romans 5:8: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

I can only speak for myself, but I don't want to read some book by someone who is trying to validate his or her own beliefs or the beliefs of a particular church. Give me a Bible. That's the book I want to compare religious beliefs, practices and teaching with. I'll compare anything related to the Christian faith and practice to the Scriptures (1 Thessalonians 5:21). 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to do our best to present ourselves to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Like I said, give me a Bible. I trust God to lead me to His truth. And I guess this is my own disclaimer when I say that I'm only speaking for myself and not for other people who profess Christ as Savior and Lord.
