What kind of music is ok for Christians to listen to? I have got many opinions from other Christians about this. Some say to only listen to worship music and others say to listen to whatever you want just as long as it isn't worldly.

I like to listen to classical harp music. It is so peaceful and heart warming. There is no real worldliness to it, in my opinion. I don't know if the composers and musicians are Christians or not, but I am guessing that some are!

I honestly like a heck of a lot of secular music, but have toned down how much of it I listen to. Sermons and Christian stuff on YouTube seems to help me spiritually better than Creedance or Bush.

The style of music is not so much of a deal as the spirit of the composer and performer(s). And your own reaction to it.

I love a lot of classical music but will not listen to anything by Wagner since he was a flaming antiSemite who tried to destroy every last copy of all of the works of Mendelssohn. He was also a favorite of Hitler.

I love good rock, blues, jazz and a host of other styles, but if something is blatantly devilish or promoting illicit sex, forget it.

Any music that doesn't tempt us to sin is fine. The Lord wants us to be happy.
