Something important to my heart came to me as I read the conversations back and forth. Just think if you were a girl reading these posts, and because of the world's pressures you felt ugly because of the playboy girls and models and newest fashions out today. You wouldn't feel very good.
According to Proverbs, there is no such thing as an ugly girl. Proverbs 31:10-31 gives an excellent admonishment and wonderment to find someone who is beautiful from the inside. Because HER worth is more precious than jewels.
Wow, it's encouraging to see this kind of response from a male. I've definitely experienced that feeling you speak of. I don't know about the Proverbs 31 woman... In the passage, a comparison is being made yet again between a "good" woman and a "bad" woman. The Proverbs woman comes off to me as a bit of a workaholic... not my personality. Maybe a look at the context will render it more applicable? I guess the point is that her love of God is what makes her beautiful, not her body. Though of course, it's important to try to maintain one's outside appearance. By no means should we let ourselves go... getting off topic... I digress.
