So, I'm sure we've all asked ourselves something along these lines "Why doesn't God just get rid of evil and the Devil?"

But then the reasonable answer would be:
Because God doesn't want robotic love.

But, when we die, we go to Heaven where there is no evil, so like, we don't have a choice to love God we just do... so why do you have to go through life suffering but then love God robotically in heaven?

Peace be to you...

Well, first of all, there can be no such thing as "robotic love". In order for love to be, it must come from a free act of the will.

As for when we die, something special happen when we die. It's not simply that our choice and freedom are taken away, it's that our wills are "perfected" in goodness.

By comparison, God is all powerful which means that all things are within His "ability". That is to say that there is nothing that is outside of His power. However, there are things that Gos "wills" not to do. (for instance God will not commit any act of evil such as telling a lie).

You see, God's will is not like our frail human will. When we will something, there remains the possibility that we may not follow through. We may change our mind or give in to temptation. However, with God, this is not so. If He wills not to do something, though it may be within His "sphere of ability" He simply will not to it, period. In fact, "to will" and "to act" are so tightly coupled in God that they are actually singular in nature.

Essentially, this is what happens to us when we go to heaven. Our wills are perfected in such a way that though our freedom is not diminished, our wills are "iron-clad" so to speak and any of even the slightest desire to do wrong is washed away.

We are not in God's rest here. Heaven is the reward of the worthy. The former things are no more, even death and Hades. When you are out in the fields working in the hot sun or cold or damp rainy days, you are at work and not at your rest. God's rest is complete. Your soul will rest with him in his company, if you are worthy. So, we work here and know no robotic love at all. We struggle to keep up. Why would there be a robotic love at rest? Because all things are restful and nice, to relax from our labors? You will love God, because you will know him and be with him. He will be known by you and you will enjoy his company, forever. Why is that so confusing?

When we talk about absolutes here, we get this wiggly thing for infinity in science or this impossible unrealistic human idea of free-will. What about knowing something, instead of guessing like we do here? God will know you and you him. That is perfect in itself. Jesus was very imperfect by the minds and thoughts of the Jews and many unbelievers, but to us, he is very human and perfect. He is our companion forever, the one who stays and cares always.

With God, all things are possible. Christ drank the cup, his love was perfect. If we drink our cups, then our love will be perfect. Sin is forgiven by our love for God and our neighbor. Give love and get heaven. Spiritual exchanges are as practical as others. Christ is our door to heaven. We simply fulfill his words within our hearts and actions, he will carry us the rest of the way. We will enter into his and his Father's rest. Love to all.

If you truly want to love Jesus and you worship God the Father in spirit and in truth, then the obsticles to doing that perfectly here will be removed, the corruptable will take on incorruptability. There is peace and joy because the change is consensual and permenant.:amen:

Dear BlOOdBought. If it was like you think, we suffer on Earth, and go eventually to Heaven where God will make us all good. It is not. May I explain / bit more, Why are we on Earth, and suffer? God made us good, we were made in His image, BUT when we are tempted, like Adam and Eve were, we believe the lies of the tempter, and do forget God`s Love for us, and His Commandments. We are on Earth to learn to love God most of all, He made us, He is our Heavenly Father. When Jesus came, He gave us 2 Commandments, which say all what God`s 10 Commandments tell us. 1) Love God with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our minds. 2) Love our neighbour, ( which means all others, whether friend or foe,) like we love ourselves. ( Which means treat them well, be considerrate, helpful and forgiving,) as God has forgiven us. We have many years on Earth to learn this, we have Jesus to help and guide us, and we have God, our Heavenly Father, who will forgive us each time we forget, or are unloving/uncaring. When we have learned to love like that, Jesus will lead us to Heaven, where we will live eternally with God and our brothers and sisters. It will be quite natural for us to be as loving as God is, Love is the Key to Heaven, selfless and with no strings attached. I say this humbly and with love, BlOOdBought. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

Thank you, this made it much more believable.

Why?

As for when we die, something special happen when we die. It's not simply that our choice and freedom are taken away, it's that our wills are "perfected" in goodness.

That sounds an awful lot as though our freedom is taken away. A perfected will is one that, one assumes, can not choose the evil, correct? Likely you would use language like 'would not', but if the 'would not' is strong enough, then it amounts to the same thing.

By comparison, God is all powerful which means that all things are within His "ability". That is to say that there is nothing that is outside of His power. However, there are things that Gos "wills" not to do. (for instance God will not commit any act of evil such as telling a lie).

There are also things outside of God's ability, such as performing a logical contradiction (that is, he cannot bring it about that he simultaneously exists and does not exist).

Essentially, this is what happens to us when we go to heaven. Our wills are perfected in such a way that though our freedom is not diminished, our wills are "iron-clad" so to speak and any of even the slightest desire to do wrong is washed away.

Yet, it is this exact same 'desire to do wrong' that is appealed to when one speaks of our 'free wills'. If one can remain free without the desire to do wrong, then why do we need it in the first place?

Here in this universe a rebellious power (Satan) rules, when someone is in heaven they will no longer have his 'evil' acting on you. Though in heaven you will still have free will, the power to go with God or against. Satan was Gods perfect creation but he turned away from God, if Satan could then i don't see why another couldn't. One things for sure though: there will be no more sorrow or sadness in heaven. But no to robotic love in heaven.
