What are you talking about?TreeOfLife said:Be careful boy, I might know more than you think.
Supersting is the only theory that dovetails into Quantum Physics now.
You don't know me, and I will take you to task, and apart if you go further.
My last quest for truth came at the end of the best physics of the absolute best minds in all this planet.
So I stand here and defy you to your face.
I know a thing or two here!
I was mearly pointing out that superstring theory has no basis in evidence as of yet, so is more a hypothesis than a theory.
The fact that you called me boy shows a great deal of pride and destain for anyone who would dare defy your views especially if they are younger than you are.
And what are you defying?
Nor was I saying that you were saying that spirit was breath or air. But rather I was reffuting the idea that faith is linked directly to wind or the like.Simon_Templar said:she wasn't saying that plasma is fire, but rather that the ancient medieval concept of the four elements earth, air, water, and fire could be seen to correspond to our concept of the four states of matter, in which case the element of fire would correspond to the idea of plasma state of matter.
I also was not saying that spirit is air, or breath, but rather that the hebrew word spirit can also mean wind and breath, thus linking conceptually or analogously the ideas of spirit, to those of air.
That the very breath of our words have power is what I was reffuting.
As for the four elements, whether they corrospond or not, they do not corrospond well. Because plasma is not necassarily warm, while fire is.
Plasma is simply ionized gas. Fire is a chemical reaction of releasing heat.
