  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Question about who supports Evolution and why?

It's not nonsense. I know atheists who don't care about evolution either way. And I certainly don't support it "rabidly".

My question was rhetorical. Watching you squirm over self-evident truth tells us what atheists will do with complicated scientific evidence.

Atheists rabidly support ToE because ToE claims to refute the existence of God - why else would they support?

Why do Christians support the origins theory that all atheists support?

Why did Judas, an Apostle (type of anyone who thinks they are close to Christ) betray Him?

Answer: Because he was deceived by Satan saith the Scriptures.

Alright, one after the after.

Not all, of course, but thats not your point.
Rabbidly because they think that teaching religious ideas in science class is damaging our society, because they believe in secularism and sometimes for the heck of it. People do the strangest things for the strangest reasons.

Me? Because after looking at all the evidence, the evidence for evolution is overwhelming and there is no way I could not support evolution. Why I go to christian forums and defend evolution? Just for recreation. Hope that answers your question.

Add: EV if you ask questions just to answer them yourself and don't accept any answer besides the one you already made your mind up to before posting, you might think about the reasons why you post in the first place.

Why did you ask a question that you don't want answered?
Atheists rabidly support ToE because ToE claims to refute the existence of God - why else would they support?
Because it's right?

In any case, you can show me the part of ToE that explicitly claims what you say it claims, or you can retract your accusation.
Why do Christians support the origins theory that all atheists support?

Why did Judas, an Apostle (type of anyone who thinks they are close to Christ) betray Him?

Answer: Because he was deceived by Satan saith the Scriptures.
Well, that doesn't seem fair. You say the ToE "claims" that God does not exist. A claim usually is an explicit statement. How, then, is it that Christian evolutionists are unable to see that claim? It should be written down somewhere, shouldn't it? What's Satan doing, making it invisible?

Who's squirming? I'm just pointing out that your "self-evident truth" is, in fact, false.

Atheists rabidly support ToE because ToE claims to refute the existence of God - why else would they support?

Well that can't be the reason, because it's not true. Maybe if you asked real questions instead of rhetorical ones you would learn something.

Why do Christians support the origins theory that all atheists support?

Ask them.

Why did Judas, an Apostle (type of anyone who thinks they are close to Christ) betray Him?

Answer: Because he was deceived by Satan saith the Scriptures.

EV

So you're saying that Satan helped Jesus bring salvation to the world? Interesting...

Do all the christian evolutionists know this?
ToE says nothing on the existence of god.

Why do Christians support the origins theory that all atheists support?

Why did Judas, an Apostle (type of anyone who thinks they are close to Christ) betray Him?
Because Jesus told him too.

Answer: Because he was deceived by Satan saith the Scriptures.

Wow Jesus is Satan?

Necessary nonsense needed to try and evade my rhetorical question.

EV

Question:

Why the heck did you post a rhetorical question on a debate forum?! I've no idea. But in answer to your question, all atheists believe in evolution, because the only possible support for creation is certain religious texts, and those religious texts aren't good evidence.
Anyone who's looking at the evidence with eyes not marred by religious indoctrination is bound to decide on evolution.

I'm not an atheist, I support evolution based on the SCIENCE. Evolution says NOTHING about the existance or otherwise of God. If you are going to point the agenda-pushing finger... look in the mirror. Creationism is a religious view that is being forced into schools for the purposes of christian prostheletizing...Why else would they support it?

Please find me one biology textbook that argues that the Theory of Evolution claims to refute the existence of God.

This in not rhetorical. If you cannot produce a valid reference, then it indicates that this statement is untrue, and you simply made it up.

Quote a reference from a text book that supports your claim or retract your claim.

Q: Why do all Atheists rabidly support the Theory of Evolution?

EV

Just as the majority of christians worldwide. But I would not use the terms "rabidly support". Most accept the Theory of Evolution as the most accurade model for development of life given the evidences; some christians, however, may add the opinion that the unsupported and incientific claims of groups of his fellow Followers of Jesus may hurt the faith as a whole.

And, just to say what others already pointed out: Evolution doesn't say a word about the existence or not of God/Gods/Divinities/Superior Forces/universal Soul/other therminologies.
