Comparing telekinesis to God is like comparing a metal detector and our Creator who has the power to see the future, and will promise that all believers of Christ a perfect wholesome mind and body without missing or defective body parts. Our poverty-driven and many other pain-causing memory experiences will become like ancient museum pieces of the past, as we become so totally involved in social activities such as song worship, or inventing refreshing new ideas while living inside God's ultimate green clean city of free accommodation and free health meals: the kingdom of God on a new disaster-free Earth where mother nature's sudden violent nature will become as calm as a kitten never becoming the adult cat as time ticks forward.:
Your purpose as a Christian is to spread the Word of God regardless of the individual's background during your growing years. This does not have to be a fulltime job as you might have goals in the way, but it does not hurt to be open about your Christian belief during your spare time with your group. You will face challenging questions to out-wit you to the point that could make you lose faith in Jesus. Having the mind of Christ is supernatural power on multiple psychic levels where I believe we can communicate with as many brothers and sisters of Christ all inside our minds, without social face-to-face contact, while living forever with Jesus .;'*';.

Ok this thread is a usual weekend troll but I'll play along..

God made man in the image of God its in Genesis.

Telekenesis is all but scientifically proven in countless experiments by scientists and in various tests by governments etc.

We are able to do it and remote viewing. We can do it and its not a result of demonic activity, its just something our minds can do and some are more gifted in it than others.

You can do it like you can do anything and if you make an idol of it you will upset God.

Ever picked up the phone to your wife and calls you with it in your hand before you dowhen you were thinking about her? Its no accident, its because we communicate in many ways outside of our normal senses.

i asked this question to my neurologist who explained to me our brains do not just stop in our head and what goes on is a complex thing he donet even fully undeeerstand and he told me that stuff could be possible.

If it's simply a human power like walking (which I doubt -- I'm not aware of any of the scientific evidence you refer to), I don't see that it's good or evil in itself. If going after it involves you in dubious spiritual practices, then I think it's a problem.

All "mysterious occurrences" are powered either by God
or the devil.

It is unproven that a person can move an object by mental powers
alone. It is unproven that a person can read someone else's mind by only
their mental powers.

God has blessed many with keen insight-- as demonstrated in the bible
examples:Job exemplifies this in Job 21:27 when he tells one of
his “comforters,” “Behold, I know your thoughts, and the plans by which you
would wrong me.” He knows his friend well, and he’s sat through enough lectures to be able to figure out where Zophar is coming from.
That’s not telepathy. That’s just paying attention.
Read more: What does the Bible say about telepathy or psycho-kinesis?

What does the Word of God say about what we should do with our mind?

Romans 12:2
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what
God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will."

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine
power to destroy strongholds.
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge
of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ"

Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

So youre bascially saying pray to God while doing this stuff and also do good things in his name? I have been doing this but this is all I need to do and ill be fine?

By the way people The reason Im here is becasuse of god. This might sound cheesy but about 2 years ago I constently prayed to god to give me "superpowers because I could use them for good". Now I know kinesis is not superpowers but its as close as you can get right? About a year ago I was searching the web randomly and came across this website called my telekinesis. Accident? I immedatly started practicing meditation and energy manipulation and it seems like I got it on the spot. Coincidence? I believe that God helped me get me where I am today but I still need facts to confirm my suspiscions...

By the way people The reason Im here is becasuse of god. This might sound cheesy but about 2 years ago I constently prayed to god to give me "superpowers because I could use them for good".

Why would you want superpowers with which to do good? You can do much good without them. God really doesn't want us to be superpowered with anything but Himself. Paul the apostle wrote that when he was weak, then it was that God could be strong in and through him. I suspect this isn't true only of Paul but of all followers of Christ. If you want God to really work powerfully in and through you, you are going to have to "get weak" first. You, however, are working in quite the opposite direction, it seems to me.

Now I know kinesis is not superpowers but its as close as you can get right?

Well, this seems to me to be settling for less. I mean, if God was going to give you true superpowers like you read of in comic books, why something so lame? Why not really beef you up with invicibility, or laser vision, or the ability to walk through walls? It seems if God has answered your prayer for superpower He has done so in a very meager degree. That seems to suggest that either God isn't really in this telekinesis stuff, or, if He is, He doesn't want you truly superpowered.

You know, God doesn't really need superheroes. He has all the power He needs to do all that He desires to do. He certainly doesn't need us to fly or to move faster than a speeding bullet to accomplish His goals in our world. He can do all that He wishes done through us just as we are.

God has, actually, given each of His children something of a superpower: the Holy Spirit. Of course, the Holy Spirit isn't just a power, but a Person, who works to convict us, and transform us into the Person of Christ. You see, if God wants anything of us, it is that we live like His Son, Jesus. But this doesn't require incredible strength or adamantium claws, just a humble yielding to Him each and every day and loving, consistent obedience to His commands. When we are living this way it is then that we do the most good in the world.

About a year ago I was searching the web randomly and came across this website called my telekinesis. Accident? I immedatly started practicing meditation and energy manipulation and it seems like I got it on the spot. Coincidence? Nothing that I know of God as He is revealed to us in the Bible indicates that this telekinesis stuff would be of God. Never forget: Satan likes to counterfeit God and makes us think God is acting when in fact Satan is. The better you know your Bible, the better able you'll be to pick out Satan's deceptions.

Selah.

Its something I guess if your curious about you will seek out as I did. About a year ago I found a few reliable books at the library on TK and remote viewing and with this topic it's hard to create scientific "evidence" there have been thousands and thousands of documented controlled tests that show positive results to things like viewing something remotely and describing in detail things like enemy army bases and secret underground bunkers.

Other tests I read showed how someone could induce successfully a random thought (they were given an object or picture to think about) into a sleeping target locked in a concrete copper insulated room at a distance and often the target would wake having dreamed about it. I can't remember the names of those books but as far as I know and I am no expert thus stuff happens to some degree. I am a skeptical person and I believe it's true and occurs.

These days I tend to think maybe god made us able to do stuff like that and one day we noticed it. If we can in a way communicate by thoughts to each other why couldn't god use it? He might have made that for a reason.

Stuff like astral projection, lucid dreams, and the subject here are all things that exist, therefore, God created them as possibilities. I believe as long as we keep Jesus included in such activities, we are fine. Its when we attempt them alone that we are open to ungodly influences.

Just my two cents

I think if you approach things you don't know or understand with a closed mind it shows a great deal of ignorance and in the bible it says we are made in the image if god and he seems wonderfully complex and maybe we are too.

I am also a Christian and I belong to a God I cannot prove exists scientifically either

Clarkxkent, I see that your post is a few years old http://www.christianforums.com/threads/question-about-god-and-telekinesis.7736821/ld, but I wanted to comment as I have struggled with this for the past couple of years. I am 60 plus years old, a Christian, well educated, have a large family, had a successful career, and in my post career retirement I chose to work overseas. This has provided more "alone" time and I have had nagging thoughts of my abilities as a child and young adult that I would like to share with you. As a child (around 8 yrs old) I discovered I had a unique ability to make objects move by focusing on them. Like parlor tricks, I would entertain some of my friends by making paperclips, pencils and other small objects move. Although I did not share this skill with a lot of people because I knew even at that age that I was "weird". I also needed such intense concentration that I couldn't have distraction in the room. I practiced this for a few years, almost always privately because I wanted to see how big of objects I could move. I could also make objects levitate on one side. Then one day, when I was around 13 years old, my best friend and I were using a Ouija board and I asked the question "who are you?" As the device started to spell out the words it lifted off of the board and with only my finger tips on it continued to spell out something evil. We both screamed, I threw the board across the room and we ran out. I got my brother and asked him to retrieve both the board and device and throw it in the burn barrel outside. I have never gotten near one since, and stopped any practice of telekinesis. I have also experienced very detailed premonitions since I was about 6 years old. Although I am drawn to the idea of being able to do this again, I can not get passed the memory or the "feeling" that I got that day so many years ago. Just as God is in my thoughts daily, I think Satan tries to enter in what ever way he can. I sometimes think that maybe I could do something good with my gifts, and often times think that God has a plan for me. I was even terminally ill about 6 years ago and was suddenly healed. I spoke with one my pastors a couple of years ago as to my impatience with trying to figure out why God healed me, and shared with him some of my uniqueness. He told me that I can't rush God. I should just accept the gifts that God has given to me. I share my story because I have anonymity and if even some of my written words give some understanding to other people I have taken this risk. I take it from your original note that you too have gifts. You are obviously a Christian or you would not be on this website. Just know that there are other people in the world that have gifts, and pray for His guidance as to what you do with those gifts.

What matters most is what is in your heart and what people will think that see/know you do it. Trying to tap into any spiritual power other than what God grants is a sin. However, it may be difficult to recognize what is in your heart. Would you consider what you are doing a Godly activity? Is it something you are relying on God himself for?
