Question about End Times

I believe that the end time prophesies necessitate a temple. I don't know how it will occur with militant Islam being right there, but somehow it will happen.

Actually in Ezekiel 39 God speaks of destroying many islamic nations during a northern invasion of israel by an incredibly large coalition, this could actually be the key to rebuilding the temple. Once their military power and pride are destroyed, it will be quite simple to demolish the mosque on that dang rock and rebuild.

Ezekiel 39 says absolutely nothing about Islamic nations.

Also, for Christians, the temple is not a building of stone. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"

I have to say I am not sure what I believe about it. It has not been revieled to me in which way to believe. I see the points that talk about a Islamic Jihad. I also heard once by "chance" that their are two gaints that formed (or did something) Rome named Gog and Magog. I saw a picture of the two statues. I am not sure exactly about this...but it had nothing to do with a "bible prophecy" show...it was on the history channel. I have some thoughts about a world government through the UN and the EU is the one to attack Isreal as EU is where the Antichrist will rise...but I just don't know for sure. But, I am saying this to say truth on what I think about. I am not sure the Antichrist will be killed with a blade. I asked for the scripture about that...Right now, I think possible the EU is some what following apart. Some people are talking like it is dead. I even heard the phrase "moratlly wounded". But then it will come alive...It will be a marvel of human effort to work together for the people. There is people in Utah who are using Microchip implants in their fingers for money. There is a world bank in the WBG. I don't see the Arabs being in position to do much right now...I just don't know for sure...But maybe it is not for me to know...It is for me to concern myself with living for God right now. Glory be to God for revealing his plan for me on my personal level so I can know be good. Glory be to God for loving me and all of yall...Glory be to God for forgiving me.

I believe it is very possible that the end will come in the next few years, to learn more about that, you need to learn about the prophecy of St. Malachy. He prophesied hundreds of years ago, the pope-given names of the popes to come before the end. Every single one has come into place with the exact details he laid forth, the last pope(john paul) was supposedly the pope of the eclipse, he was born and died on an eclipse! According to prophecy, the next pope in line will be the last pope, and will turn against God!The current pope is old, and will not live more than approx 15 yrs. However, I believe that once the US pulls our troops out of Iraq, Iran will then attack Iraq and Isreal at the same time(defeating its 2 worst enemies). Before Isreal is attacked(if ur a pretribber like me) the church will be raptured! Jesus said that a generation(bible time:usually 40 yrs) after isreal became a nation again, the rapture would occur.many believed that the forty yrs would end in 1988, that was 40 yrs after isreal became a physical nation. Yet, since that did not happen, i believe Jesus meant a generation after isreal became a spiritual nation!
Isreal became a spiritual nation in 1973, this would mean the rapture would occur at approximately 2007! No man will no the day or hour of Christ's RETURN, but God has given us many hints towards the rapture!

I don't suggest you put a date with it....It is good to stay with in a few years...but rapture verses point in another direction to me and others...so I think it is falling away not a taking away...if you know what I mean. I do agree it is soon. I hope to see the Ark, thou! It might spark some interesting things.

This question is for Christians of any denomination; however, I am looking for a TRADITIONAL Christian response (not the progressive/liberal response). I have a question about end times in Traditional Christianity. One thing Jews believe is that the Holy Temple will be rebuilt. Is this part of Christian theology? I know you guys will have different beliefs concerning the Messiah, and some other details, but is one of your prophecies that you are waiting for also include the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem? Very curious!
