CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

viele werden aber von klein auf von ihren eltern in entsprechenden "verein" gedrängt. dann kommt das doof wenn man später wechselt.

dann sind's erst recht selber schuld...mein Vater hat auch den Verein gewechselt...hat deswegen zwar Probleme gekriegt aber wenn man davon überzeugt is sollte das einem Wurscht sein...
ich hab auch Probleme gekriegt als ich "verein gewechselt" hab bzw. mich als geborene Evangelische großtaufen lies....und bei meiner Schwester war es das gleiche...da muss man halt dann zu seiner Meinung stehen und das durchziehen

also bei der Konfirmation war das für mich noch kein Thema...das wurds erst als wir ein Jahr danach angefangen haben in eine Freikirche zu gehen - mit nem Onkel der Evangelischer Pfarrer ist 
da hatte man dann die Diskussionen....
und das meine Schwester heimlich zu Taufgesprächen gegangen is und wir alle hintenrum von ihrem Entschluss sich großtaufen zu lassen erfahren haben hat auch nicht geholfen
is meiner meinung nach eh ein sehr spannendes Thema....was sagts ihr den wenn das Thema aufkommt?
