Nobody is on trial it doesn’t matter who initiates an accusation, we just wanna know which possibility is more plausible. The same exact Mandela Effects are naturally gonna be shared by millions of people because the same exact tiny circumstances affect people all the same. If there was some random McDonald’s commercial about their Monopoly sweepstakes game that aired in 1990, and in that commercial the Monopoly man was wearing a monocle unlike in the board game, then that tiny little seed of contradiction gets planted for millions of different people who watched the commercial (and have since forgotten all about the commercial).
