Whenever I hear about Mandela Effects they are anything but dramatic, which makes me always ask why isn’t it ever something dramatic? It’s always something like a punctuation mark, but it’s never something like Wayne Gretzky being the Prince of Wales instead of a former hockey player. It’s telling that what always counts as a Mandela Effect is something that non-dramatically fits what cases of false memory are.

Also, doesn’t both chaos theory, and the butterfly effect lead to huge changes not tiny ones? So why would your name change example always be something like Clark vs Clarke instead of Clark vs Dominic?

I am confused about this one that I saw, the claim that Shazam was a movie with Sinbad vs people saying that the movie never existed, I’m confused because these Mandela Effect videos were showing an actual clip from the movie, but also claiming that it’s a Mandela Effect and that the movie vanished from history, so how could they be showing a clip from the movie then? I don’t know what exactly the deal is with the Shazam one I have to look into it more. Saying that there’s residue of something is saying that there’s evidence of something, but residue of something is supposed to be what is not a Mandela Effect, a Mandela Effect is supposed to be something that only has shared memory left to it, not some residue
