You have not presented any evidence. Anecdotes and stories are not evidence.
Why is it not evidence?

I claim I have a faulty memory and have not changed timeline. That's indisputable evidence your claim is bogus.
There is endless evidence. But you (and others) are endlessly unable (or unwilling) to appreciate, know this evidence. As it is.
Instead, you are endlessly debating it. Since it seems this is what you do regardless of what I say. Regardless of the evidence I share.
I suspect this is about levels of reality. And our ability (or inability) to be aware of the transcendental.

Indeed. And perhaps the Mandela Effect is faulty memory. The evidence is everywhere.
Perhaps you have faulty memory…
And perhaps the Mandela Effect is faulty memory.
Of course we do - we have JohnEmmett handwaving away evidence while pontificating and presenting anecdotes. Who wouldn't be convinced?
Perhaps so. Unless there is good reason to think otherwise.
And we have good reasons… to think otherwise.
Who wouldn't be convinced?
I have what I assume you would call "strong" memories which I know are incorrect. So your latest assertion is demonstrably wrong. Do you have anything other than assertions and credulity?
No one is not convinced who has strong memories that are contradicted. Time and again.
Do you have anything other than assertions and credulity?
Or, there is no affect to be had.
Either you are not affected or you do not yet realize you are affected.
It is likely you are affected.
Or, there is no effect to be had.
Is this place in your memory?
Not mine. At least most of my life.
I'm willing to bet the people who don't remember that place don't live anywhere near it and never had any real reason to think about it.
Try finding me someone who lives in Egypt who thought it never existed.
Bad bet. I was always aware of Egypt from a young age. I know the Nile was by itself.
People in Egypt will think it was always so. Such is the nature of this, for whatever reason.
I can consider this. The problem is how unlikely such could possibly be. Given the sheer amount. The world map has changed many times.
Curious that affect became effect? Can you explain this?

You know you should not do that in a quote, it is probably a rule violation.
I changed the term.
That said, it is a good example of how false memories can get started.
