Currently we are out of stock on salad and pet biscuits. Do you know when these items will be restocked.

Hi Matt

Do you think the pet programing could be tweaked to automatically send a pm to the pet owner when the hunger level reaches 90-100%. I think members maybe forgetting to look after their pets due to "out of sight....out of mind."

This is very true... one of the pets on my list was at 100% because they were in training and when I PM'd the owner about it, they said they'd forgotten they had a pet!

Everywhere i go on the boards everyone is freaking out that the pets have HORNS, now i know for a fact they can be disabled is this something that can be taken care of quickly?

That would be nice... plus I'd really love to know why Kaida's halo stays still and Cherry's (and almost every other non-dragon I've seen) has a halo that's freaking out!

I'm gonna guess that Cherry was born of an egg, right? My pet on the other site I'm on does that. But it's only the one that hatched, the other 2 that I created straight out are fine. That's a glitch in the P3tz program. I've not seen anyone who could correct the halo twitching thing. But maybe they will still give it a try.

There's no parents listed for Cherry, so I'm guessing she was made instead of hatched. I've noticed it on a lot of pets, all breeds except dragon... I think...

Pets now have halos no more horns.

Previously, someone had said that they could never get the pets to show up in the posts without the horns. I think they said the only way to do it was to remove the halo/horn feature (I'm not sure if they meant removing the moral feature altogether though).

OK, resurrecting this thread so we can put these issues out for everyone to see what is being dealt with.

One of the biggest issues we are having is the pets that are getting stuck in a battle. They end up dying after being in there for so long not being fed. I understand the reasoning for not being able to pull your pet out right after striking. It isn't fair if the the other member doesn't get a chance to strike back. But if they never show up for the battle then the other guy gets stuck with an eventually dead pet. There needs to be some kind release after a certain cut off time or something. IDK, like if after 24 or 48 hours of the agreed/scheduled battle time the opponent hasn't shown up it counts as a forfeit or something. Just my suggestion.

The next item is about the auction section. I like the different options between being able to sell or auction a pet. I understand that they have different purposes. But the auction system is massively flawed in that it is not automatic like the sale system. If you look at the auction block right now there are no current ones. Just pending transfers (from people who haven't been online since they put the pet in there) and expired ones that didn't get any bids. Can yall go in and clear out the expired ones and transfer the sales? If not transfer the sales just cancel them. Its so junky in there that no one knows what's going on or what to do.

OK this is the last one for the moment, LOL.

The FAQ's needs to be updated. It doesn't explain how to do any of the above mentioned options. We have had several complaints about it. We usually have to reply to the individual PM's with instructions for whatever the issue is. Getting a pet out of training, transferring pet auctions and such. One of the leaders had started a thread a while back where we were adding suggestions as to what all needed to be updated in the FAQ's. We can get that going again to help gather info needed for it if we know that it will get done.

The only responsibility of pet workers is to feed the pets that are not being fed once or twice a week. The other things pertaining to these pets is not what this forum was set up for. The only job requirement for this job is rescue the pet from starvation and that being only one pet per owner. doctorcf/bfly

Therer already is a mini FAQ in the main forum with a few of the most important questions we get asked...but I agree the FAQ really needs updating - it's rather confusing having the FAQ for the old system just thought I'd mention that in case you can use any of the answers and questions there...

bfly...I agree our job is to keep the pets alive...but if people are willing to do more than that we shouldn't stopp them as long as it does not keep them from doing the job they're here for or gets toooo much for them....

Here is a list of all of the pets that are stuck in the auction area. Some are dead and others have new owners (some how) from what is listed on the auction block.

Not sure how you want to do it Matt. But if the dead ones can get cleared out that would be a start. Is there a way for you to cancel the auctions that didn't have any bids on them? We can try contacting the sellers about transferring the pets with winning bids. But some of them haven't been on in quite a while.

Hi

I agree with Sushi; in fact I also went to her with auction and battle concerns after owners came to me for help.

The auction is a mess and needs cleaning.
It is disheartening to see all those dead pets and people are confused with the old posts (Including me when I began looking for pets).

It would be nice to have options for battle as Sushi suggested, in all fairness to the owners whose pets get stuck in there to die.

Personally... I feel all those things ARE in our job description as pet care workers.
Having the knowledge to impart to owners and keeping a clean program will ensure a better system, improved owner cooeration and pet care.
Most are very grateful for the work we do and the help we give.

Ainuhina .... thanks for the FAQ reminder; in general as a newbie just last month, I found a lot of outdated info.
Hopefully they are updating the changes they have made in ALL areas.

Can you all do me a favor and list (members name and auction start dates) all the auctions that are expired and I will go ind and pm all the members and tell them I am doing a scrub of the auction area. Will also let them know that they will loose their pets also. Can you also list anyone that has bid on the auctions and how many blessings they bid and I will refund them.
