Wow, thanks to Rhamiel, you done made me hungry. And I haven't even had my breakfast yet. Green tea noodles. I have never tried those but than again I like to try something new. No apple cider for me though. Just to read how many you had Rhamiel made me a little tipsy.

Rhamiel,

CAM will do me no good as I'm here in Canada, however there may be some green tea noodles here in the grocery store I am sure.

Chrysanthemum Pu-erh Tea. Now I do love tea, however I don't think that JM serves tea in his pub.

JM actually has been known to have a spot of tea in here so by all means, enjoy! :)

Up here in Canada they now have 20 year old single malt scotch for 50 dollars at Costco. It's probably been availabile in the US for a while. It's the Kirkland brand. But 50 bucks for 20 year old single malt is a nice price.

I have never tried Irish Coffee. However the lady that I work with had gotten me into trying coffee. I have never drank coffee in all my years until just before Christmas. I prefer a Mocha. And I'm still not keen on coffee. I will be a tea granny the rest of my life.

Irish Coffee:

1 1/2 shots of Irish Whiskey
1 tsp brown sugar
6 oz. of your fav coffee (dark roast for me)
some add heavy cream and whip cream, but I find it's a little too sweet

Anyone in the pub order a pear cider? What's it like?

0312843.jpg

I have tried a few different pear ciders
Sir Perry is overly sweet
Magners is an irish cider, they make a good pear cider, it is dry and light
I think it kind of tastes like dry white wine

i prefer apple cider, but it is a nice change of pace every now and again

I like the pipe JM. I haven't smoked since October. I did buy a nice specialty cigar last week that was supposed to go well with a coffee. Was going to smoke it today with a nice Americano, but too cold out. Maybe next weekend! :)

Sounds good.

We have a pipe club meeting Wednesday. The rep from Brigham is coming back with free samples.
