Hehe that made me laugh. My local liquor store sales lady knows me well too.

I haven't had sherry before. Is it like a port?

Port is really dry. Do you normally drink port? Sherry is pretty sweet. Sweet like raisins and not like pure sugar. I'm sipping some now and surrounded by clouds of aromatic smoke from my cob.

Love the cob.

Any thoughts on pipe lighters? I like the old school Nimrod look but the Zippo's are easier to find. Locally I can buy a Zippo for $30 but I see them on Amazon for $9 bucks. Are the Zippo's worth it?

I carry a Zippo pipe lighter. I have owned several and like them. I paid about $30.00 for them as well. The only problem is if you use cheap lighter fluid. You get the fluid taste when you light your pipe. The Zippo fluid is low odor but it still has some. A wooden match is the best thing to light your pipe with. You get an even light and no fluid taste.

had some Brothers Drake Mead
it was the hopped traditional mead,
if any of you guys come to columbus ohio you gotta try it, the guy who makes the mead is crazy, but awesome, in a fit of civic pride, he does not sell his product anywhere outside the city
a few bars from Cleveland make the trek down to Columbus to pick up a few cases at a time, but he does not ship anywhere outside the city

Quit running so fast and you won't smoke. ;)

I wish I could run fast, I didn't say anything about that...I run for the enjoyment of it and to be outside in nature. It is one of the reasons I really enjoy my pipe(s). Smoking outside and just meditating on God's word/sermon or those good things we have in Christ is a most precious time for me.

I don't believe too much running or too much smoking is good for you so I do both with this in mind.

;)
