No advice on the Chardonnay, not much of a wine drinker. My wife swears by "Kim Crawford" white wine though.

Your dog might be picking up on some negative energy. They have a sixth sense towards that kind of stuff. If the place is as you describe, it's possible. My guess is they do channel a sort of magic in their charismatic practices, but because it is misunderstood by them, it can cause interesting side effects.

I had a pipe with Dr. Joseph Pipa, he actually has a blend called Pipa Blend, it was awesome. I thought he would have taken a hardline toward by Baptist leanings but he was really cool to talk with. He told some personal stories of Dr. Packer (a friend of his) and willingly answer any question we had about scripture. I was invited to hangout because I smoke a pipe once in a while and my soul has greatly benefited from it. Thanks for the pipes brother.
