  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This fight should have taken place 5 years ago when they were both at their prime! Pac has been through wars, is the smaller man and just doesn't have it in him. He might get lucky early, if he sets a fast pace to get the KO but I have Money all the way tonight. His style has allowed him to age better. I think it'll go the distance with Money taking the dub.

I'm cracking a bottle of white wine and sitting outside for a while before watching the fights. Maybe strum the uke.

My folks and grand parents gamble...not a good idea for me. Inherent Vice and all, speaking of the movie, not bad. The book was different but if you separate them and judge them on their own merits, both stand up well.

I'm not a big gambler but God blessed me tonight with some nice winnings. Nothing crazy, but the night was paid for with a few good hands of Jacks or Better. :)

Great night with the boys. I introduced them to sherry, a fella brought some Elijah Craig, we had some good theological discussion as well. Smoked Maple something, an English blend and a Cuban cigar.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful Victoria Day. I have some 1927 Growers Cider to sip later and I got to thinking, 1927 is OK but I'm sure I could do better. Any recommended ciders? Any thoughts on Blackthorn, Blackfly, Brothers, Dry Hopped, Forbidden Artisanal, Rekorderlig Elderflower....

Thanks

My wife and I plan to putter around the house this weekend finishing up the patio area. I'm thinking a picture of Sangria would be a nice refreshing drink to sip as we work. Any recommended recipes?
I'm thinking a bottle of red, some spiced rum, strawberries, orange slices and grapes.
Thank you.
