PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

Currently I haven't.. planning to get the PS5.. but the Xbox Series X looks tempting. Multi-plat games will probably always look better on that console.. yet PlayStation has so many good exclusives. Might just buy both.. but eh.

Yeah Microsoft has a horrible naming system. I heard they discontinued the Xbox One X consoles early because too many people were getting confused.

I will say though.. I like the design of the Xbox Series X way above the PS5. The PS5 is one ugly console in my opinion.

I have one son who is an Xbox guy (waiting to get the new one), and the other is a PS guy (because of the Spider-Man game). He’s more patient for the PS5. They have jobs and money, so they buy their own. But my 8 year old is excited for the first son, because he was told he’ll get the Xbox One S when Josh gets his new one.

That's okay. It's so darn big it won't fit in my entertainment center, so it's going to have to go behind my TV where I can't see it anyways. And, no, I haven't gotten it yet... (grumble)

I got lucky and snagged a Series X on launch day. It's amazing. Load times for current games are down by almost 90% on most things. I had load times on Monster Hunter World for some quests go from 1-2 minutes down to < 10 seconds. Elite Dangerous runs at full 60 fps now and is beautiful. I can only imagine what they're going to be able to do with the power and new SSD.

I will probably get a Ps5 in the future but, i prefer PC gaming.

I finally managed to get a PS5. So happy about this. Although to be honest.. there isn't much PS5 games I'm excited to play.. still some of the PS4 next gen upgrades look interesting.

The xbox certainly looks tempting. I even got myself an Xbox Series X, but honestly I'm disappointed and ps5 was more to my liking. The price is pretty much the same, but the convenience was more evoked by the ps. So I sold the Xbox.
