I'm sick of hearing it on the news almost everyday myself.

Good for her! I'm getting sick and tired of all these senseless attacks on Chritmas, and everything else that has to do with Christiantiy!

my heart is saddened to think that people are not allowed to wish others a merry Christmas. But I wonder how many Christians work for these stores, and are willing to make a stand for Jesus and defie the wish's of their employer's, and go ahead and wish other's a merry Christmas inspite of the consiquencise's.

Mark 8; 38....If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.

As we enter the Christmas season my prayer is that all will know the blessing and joy of our Saviour, as we celebrate His Salvation plan.

That is an excellent point kisstheson,but what are ANY of us doing about it? Have any of us written a letter To The editor of our paper expressing outrage over this? Have any of us ever written a letter to our congressmen and senators and State Reps telling them how we feel? Their addresses can be obtained from your local library. I intend to contact mine today. I will also remind them that I support the Marriage Ammendment while I am at it! [I have written them all on this subject before]. How many of us have fasted and prayed over the anti-Christian atmosphere in our country? If we would all do that we would see a miraculous change, I have no doubt. But "Apathy" is the greatest threat to Christianity!

I am a loco latin and I agree too. In the University where I work we are supposed to say Season greetings....I won't. It is Merry Christmas or nothing (except happy Channukah to my Jewish friends)

AmeriLovesJesus, that really grabs me when you told about your own extended family(?) and their reaction to mention of Jesus. There was a book titled 'The Bridge Over the River Kwai'. Perhaps somewhere in Christ's Kingdom there is a 'Bridge Over the River Don't Kwy' for you and the rest of us who need every tear wiped away.

Well I personally still say it. I say Happy Holidays most of the time. When I was at work last year I said both. I was a little bit afraid but I did it. I should not be forced to keep what is real to me hidden. This country is about freedom and I should be aloud to rejoice in my beliefs out loud if I feel like it. If i had lost my job oh well. This kind of gives me a thought that maybe it is time for something amazing to happen with Jesus. I mean America is really serious about this whole thing. America was a country of Christianity and now all of a sudden they decide to focus much more on outsiders (in every situation) than their own people.

Lets never forget that Jesus went through situations like this and he did not let it hurt his spirit. Lets not let this hurt our spirits. Lets not worry about it because the Lord will always overcome.

I always have stuff like this happen at my house. When the Lord is spoken about in my house people start to act offended.. and then turn around and get angry with me or anyone who may be a Christian and I sometime cry because I feel like I did a bad thing . I am a new close christian .. I have been a believer my whole life but just got close 2 years ago. So I am still very very sensitive. I try remind myself most of the time in situations like this to never respond with hate, and to be wise by keeping my mouth shut and instead praying for them because they do not know the love that they are missing.

How could someone hate such an amazing man, is beyond me.

I think all Christians should keep an eye on that site so we know who to boycott. I've sent all the emails thay've requested to the companies who have ungodly practices (like Kraft supporting Gay Games, etc).

And don't forget to send emails to the companies who do GOOD things.

I'm with you in that I am so tired of more and more chains being put on us~~peoples actuall constitutional rights being violated~~free speech~~store chains bullying in the name of the almighty buck.
Personally~~I think us Christians should let all those people have Dec 25 and we claim the true time of Christs birth for us to celebrate~~hit retail owners where it hurts and not shop for Dec 25~~
Not sure what we would call the actual time of Christ birth for us Christians to celebrate...but we as Christians need to take more of a stand on things a live the fact that we are set apart from the world.

We could call it what God called it...Sukkot, (or The Feast of Tabernacles, as it is known in modern English).
