The coffee and donuts are just the gravy to confirm the implicit message that all the church members will awake in heaven upon passing. Cash cows leave there money, large safe, and property, ie, just good economics to invest in a few donuts and expensive coffee, ie, don't forget to get the safe's combination before they pass on.
