Just give me 2 1/2 minutes:

From a non-bias source:

Fast forward to the 7 min 20 sec mark of this video by "National Geographic":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmOPoL1emOM&feature=channel

Very nice. National Geographic is a well known source of historical facts and to see the video discussing St Peter's Basilica and it's history all the way back to Peter and Paul is awesome.

I much prefer sources like this.

2.5 minutes was vested.

your "non biased source" spoke pretty much exclusively to Catholics.

Well... there is no other Christian church until the 16th century and since they were discussing St Peter's Basilica it makes sense.

The Papacy and Its Unholy State: A Worldwide W a k e - u p C a l l to Orthodox Leaders

On July 10, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI reasserted the "universal primacy" of his Roman Catholic church, approving a document released on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, proclaiming that Orthodox Churches are "defective." This was the Pontiff’s latest manner of insulting Jesus Christ and His True Church...............

Off-topic. You lose.

I always know when I score a win, when they other guy does the old change-topic-shuffle.

They believe he was in Rome. We believe he was in Rome. MOST PROTESTANT theologians agree he was in Rome. Only extremists with Bible-Only myopia deny it

What do you know about my beliefs?
The only beliefs of yours that I commented on were the ones where you made abundantly clear in this thread. I made and make no assumptions about any other beliefs.

And I would suggest you stop making this personal....
Basically I was just going by the golden rule of treat others as you would expect to be treated. You asked someone for evidence after giving all kinds of excuses for not providing evidence that two people asked for. That is why I said you dance around things that don't match your beliefs. Others had provided examples of why your statement would be wrong and you still would bot provide evidence to support your view. Instead you made statements like it doesn't matter to me or it is unimportant.

Well, I'll give you this much: Of the three threads I started with two videos and an mp3, you're the only person who has watched something I've posted. Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.
Sorry but my internet connection is too poor to try and load those videos.

Not if you ask the orthodox! Catholics have always claimed orthodox split from them while orthodox claim the opposite.

In any case you do not have to be affiliated with the catholic church to be an expert on the matter unless of course the catholic church for some bizarre reason prevents others from gaining knowledge which would be very suspicious.

Why would Peter be in Rome?

Peter and Paul were martyred there. The Christians even built a shrine where Peter was buried after being crucified. When Constantine became Christian he wanted to commemorate Peter and build a church and so he had the Basilica built right on the shrine where Peter was buried. Good historical story too considering the location was where many Christian martyrs had their bodies sent after being killed at the circus and the location was not the best for building on.

As a Catholic we see all RCC and EOC and OOC as Catholic. There are Apostolic Letters to this as well.

And to being an expert of the matters of the Catholicism there are not as many "experts" as people would like to think that are not Catholic. But most of the knowledge is available to the public and scholars like Scott Hahn are testament to anyone being able to learn and know what Ctaholicism is.

Peter and Paul were martyred there.
No, they weren't.

The Christians even built a shrine where Peter was buried after being crucified.
It was pagans who built shrines. The Roman patricians did that sort of thing. Very rich, just loved religion- for the plebs, of course.

When Constantine became Christian
:D

When Con eventually realised that persecution was not going to work, one of his aides muttered in his ear, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." And that's what he did. He even passed his grand title of Pontifex Maximus to the weedy little puppet he kept as his 'pope'.

Why would Peter be in Rome?

As the leader of the entire Church, it makes sense that he would travel about to all the local churches, especially to the one in the capitol city in the Empire

Peter and Paul were martyred there. The Christians even built a shrine where Peter was buried after being crucified. When Constantine became Christian he wanted to commemorate Peter and build a church and so he had the Basilica built right on the shrine where Peter was buried. Correct.

You guys should take just 2 1/2 minutes to watch this. Fast forward to the 7 min 20 sec mark of this video by "National Geographic" and then watch for just 2.5 minutes:
