The leader of the entire church is the Holy Spirit. He must be obeyed, in every decision you take, whatever you are doing. He knows what you think, which no mere man possibly can. He can't be fooled, He won't give an easy answer, as a mere man can. That personal, intimate relationship with Him is what Christianity is. Anything else leads to death.

So what is your support that the holy spirit is the earthly leader? Leader and guide are not neccesarily the same thing. (I'm really going to have to learn how to spell neccesarily one of these days!)

regarding the pope that is in your opinion and that of the catholic church. Others do not believe that and do not see that being justified. Same as the reason catholics give for condoms not being allowed to be used but thats another topic!

The Catholic Church would never claim the Pope is on that white horse for it is Jesus, the love of our Lord Jesus Christ is too great to even jest about such things.

I do not believe that the bones they found are in any way conclusively those of Peter. I think it's rather beneficial to the RCC to say that they are, though.
